Guest Reviews
- Holly (10/5): Suburb location! - Loved loved the location, such a great cozy spot could of stayed there way longer! Limited cooking tools and the bath matts were not the best so the shower floors constantly were wet
- can (5/5): - n Very unsafe accommodation. My family and I were staying in the room when a group of drunk people were loudly arguing right outside our door. Because I’m a woman, I only opened the curtain slightly to take a look, but then they rushed into the yard and started banging on our window before running away. This street is very close to a bar area, and many intoxicated people pass by the accommodation entrance.
- Lucy (10/5): Amazing stay!! - Great location, absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Check in/out instructions were very clear and facilities were amazing
- Sharon (10/5): Good facilities and location. - Great location close to chapel street dining and public transport options. Can be noisy at times depending on events in the area but we generally got a good nights sleep.
- Troy (10/5): Great Location Right in the Heart of busy Prahran - Location in Prahran fantastic, close to transport, cafes etc etc nothing gave everything we wanted
- Kyla (10/5): -
- Stewart (1/5): Shithouse stay - Leaving Absolute worst experience and customer service. Avoid this place like the plague. Booked a 5 night stay over Melbourne cup and oasis weekend. Firstly the front door seems very loose and security is an issue. Would be very careful booking this place in future. Checked in and there is no wifi or tv accessible (also a security concern). Discovered that the modem/router was broken and the tv needed an adapter to plug into the wall. Who knows how long this was broken for. Reported it to the MadeComfy(the accomodation management company). They are based in India so good luck trying to get an outcome. The short of it, we had to sort our own connectivity issues. Save yourself the hassle and stay at a hotel chain and avoid dealing with these idiots.
EDIT: Was intially offered a $76.35 refund on the phone. This was then revised down in accordance with their internal review policies to $40. PATHETIC. And the wifi and tv still won't be working. As expected their reponse was to apologise for any inconvience caused and they will review their internal policies. However after 10 phone calls with them, I spoke to someone different each time and not one person knew about the issue. They can't improve their policies if they don't have any.

- Iwan (7/5): Good apartment, but needs better privacy and property management. - Great location, modern, clean and well equipped property. This is a ground level corner apartment with a direct street entrance, so it is somewhat exposed. Windows look directly into the kitchen and both bedrooms from the adjoining street. Both the cable TV and the WiFi were flaky and unreliable during my stay - and the customer response was similar. Stay Comfy - the management company - did not resolve either issue over five days and were slow to even acknowledge issues.
- Maree (10/5): We were very happy with the ex cause and convenience of the apartment - Location to transport and food great.
Under cover parking was great.
Front window was covered in egg and drink when we arrived - we tried to clean it.
Excellent shower design. We got used to no shoes but awkward at first.
An ice tray would be good.
We threw out the gin and biscuits left in the cupboard
- S. Meister (7/5): - Parking Spot underground, Solid Wifi, Modern apartment, Good size Could have been a bit cleaner for my taste...
- Cindy-lee (7/5): Excellent location but very disappointing to have only 2 towels for four people - Great location There were four in our party and we had only 2 towels. We contacted the property and their reply was to check all cupboards which we had done. And replied back and never received an answer. We had to go out and buy towels the next day. This was very disappointing.
- Carl (10/5): Very close to an array of dining options - Very convenient to Chapel street dining and Mannys Music N/a
- maddie (10/5): -
- Larissa (10/5): Fantastic location with supermarket train station and heaps of yummy eating options at door step. - Instructions given on how to enter and parking was awesome. Included photos making it so easy. Great location with supermarket train station and plant of eating options at door step
- Frank (8/5): Very good -
- Keiko (10/5): We loved staying this property. We will definitely come back. - Very clean and comfortable, functional and great location Maybe nice to have spare towels. Specially bath mat, get soaking wet from shower. Washing and drying takes for a while so nice to have spare towels.
- Rob (10/5): Live like the locals do and soak up the atmosphere - The apartment has everything you need like washer / dryer, dishwasher, secure parking and excellent heating and cooling. The location is great, particularly if you don't have a car as coffee and trams are a short walk away.
- Jade (8/5): Very good -
- Fiorenzo (10/5): Good - Good Good
- Harry (9/5): Very comfortable and convenient great location -
- Rosemarie (8/5): Quite new and modern, beds big and comfortable. Convenient parking. Location suited us perfectly, thanks for a great st - Location was excellent, very close to Chapel street, bed very comfortable, check in easy, underground parking was great. The couch (leather?) noisy and not very comfortable, could do with seating for four people. Only two chairs on patio, coming apart and not very comfortable either. Some greenery in the patio planter box would be nice instead of dirt and cigarette butts.
- Barbara (9/5): Long stay - Location was great. Close to Chapel Street and public transport. Close to The Avenue Hospital. Noisy on one Saturday night but otherwise quiet.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Syed (1/5): Disappointment (Stay from 5 - 24 August) - Location I recently stayed at bright terrace unit in Melbourne and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I discovered several issues in my room that significantly impacted my stay and mental discomfort. The dishwasher was not functioning, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the chair in the room was broken, making it unusable, and the side table next to the bed was also damaged.
These issues were reported to the hotel staff, and while I did receive some reimbursement for the dishwasher but that was too low. To add to the disappointment, I was charged an extra amount for early arrival. Furthermore, I was overcharged for linen and bed sheet washing, which felt unreasonable given the state of the room.
The lack of attention to these basic amenities and the overall maintenance of the room was disappointing.
- Vanessa (10/5): Execellet great location would highly recommend - Locate close to eatery’s, private hospital. Clean, comfortable
- Ross (10/5): Exceptional -
- Groocoe (8/5): Family stay - Location was great with trams and trains close by. Comfortable, all the required amenities (bowls, glasses, cups, dishwasher, dryer, etc), secure parking in the basement was very handy. Being unable to open the blinds due to the lack of frosting on some windows was a slight annoyance, just meant the lights were on more.
Front door handle was loose and may need to be looked at sometime!
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Close to chapel st Had to ring to get check in instructions. Couldn't check in until 3pm
- Brianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): Was a beautiful stay and will definitely be back, wanted to stay there longer honestly - The location was perfect considering we weren’t prepared to cook we had great access to a variety of options. Great walking distance from where we need to be through out our stay. The place was beautiful really felt homey. There was nothing to not like.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (8/5): Excellent location, tidy apartment, a little noisy - The location was great for us, close to train station and tram stop. Lots of great eating close by. The place was tidy and spacious with everything we needed for our weeks stay It's quite a noisy location in the evening and prior to usual weekday work starting, so I'd recommend bringing earplugs for night time.
- Alicia (10/5): Convenient and comfortable. - Amazing location with everything we needed. Front door key was a little clunky. Electronic access would be great but obviously not necessary.
- Robyn (9/5): Fantastic property!! Much better than I expected. - Great location. The property had everything you would need was very homely. I would love to stay again. King bed was a bit hard
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Good location near shops, restaurants and transport. Dirty frying pans and oven trays.
- Diane (7/5): Relaxing - quiet street and great location. - Location excellent. Great for eating out and easy transport options. Unfortunately, the walls were dirty, the rug in loungeroom was dirty, there were no dish clothes to wash dishes (we prefer handwashing). Only one bar of soap for 5 days. The cupboard door under the sink was broken. No information for TV/Internet password. I reported this to management.
- Trin (10/5): Clean comfortable great location - modern & great location close to Avenue Hospital nil
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (9/5): fantastic location in a neat, modern little unit. Definitely would stay again. - Modern unit in a great location. We loved being opposite to the park! Needed to include some dish cloth.
