• Nads79 (8/5): A good stay, central location. - Kitchenette, location, lounge area with sofas, can come and go easily. Large room. Have to pay for replacement towels and tea/coffee top ups. Bed a little creaky, bathroom shower could have been scrubbed a bit cleaner.
• Eleanor (5/5): Substandard cleanliness and disappointing response from hosts - Good location in CBD, spacious apartment, easy check in instructions. Unfortunately there were a few issues. When we arrived to check in, the bins were still full with all the previous guests rubbish and despite being advertised as fully equipped and providing toiletries, there was no body wash, shampoo or conditioner, but worst of all for an apartment with a kitchen and bathroom, there was no hand soap for washing anywhere in the apartment. This was really disappointing. I raised it immediately on the night we arrived through the portal, and then again on booking.com chat, and the agents agreed to sort this on each day we were there, but despite this, the toiletries and hand soap were never provided. I wouldn’t have minded if they’d said they weren’t able to provide them as would’ve bought some for our 4 day stay but it was the fact I kept being told it would be rectified and each day when we came back, it wasn’t. Then, they offered a goodwill gesture of some very small amount of compensation, which, despite me chasing twice, and being assured it was being processed in 10-14 business days, it never arrived. The false and empty promises and substandard cleanliness is what has been most disappointing and hopefully this doesn’t happen to other guests but the hosts are unreliable and I won’t be booking this place if we come back to Melbourne again. Also due to the location in the CBD, at the weekends most coffee shops and restaurants around are closed, just to be aware of.
• Thaxter (2/5): Disappointing, paid for accomodation that was falsely advertised and ammenities second rate, poor. - Location was good Getting access to property poor, was not on time, key very difficult to get, cleaners had and had to wait for them to return key. Property was falsely advertised with laundry facilities, actually were none, coin operated community laundry. Tv did not work, I had to fix, pod machine leaked like a sieve safety issue. Dishwasher too small for dining plate set, no sink plug to wash up manually. Overall property was tired and used, needed furnishings upgrade. No communication booklet for visitors to reference, no direction on ammenities, laundry, rubbish disposal etc. overall very disappointing and detracted from our stay.
• Russell (9/5): I had a great week - The keys were at a supermarket down the road. Easy to access as I needed to walk past on my way to the property from the station. The lake of interest or enthusiasm to assist by the person behind the counter. If arriving by taxi it meant getting the keys and doing the rest on foot. A pain if wet. The property needs a standard lamp in the living area otherwise all overhead lights need to be on.

• Kacey (10/5): - Location was perfect and central to everything we needed. Clean with everything we could need for our stay. Shower definitely needs a shower curtain, water goes everywhere on the floor.

• GrahamM (8/5): Overall very good, well located. - Location is excellent, with plenty of cafe's etc nearby The property description on Booking.com is inaccurate, stating that washing machine and tumble dryer is included in the property, but actually is only access to a coin operated laundry down the hallway.
• Anna (8/5): poor cleanliness, no host communication, a confusing check-in process, and unhelpful staff leaving us stranded outside l - The location was very nice close to all amenities The experience was so-so. The place wasn’t clean, there was no communication with the host, and the check-in instructions were unclear. We had to go back and forth between the shop and the aparthotel to get the keys, which was a nightmare with six pieces of luggage. To make things worse, the access card stopped working after 11 PM. The hotel staff refused to open the entrance door, insisting we contact the host—but we didn’t have any contact information. We ended up waiting outside like stranded travelers until someone opened the door to leave, and we sneaked in 😂. Even though the access card worked in the elevator, the receptionist still wouldn’t let us in. We tried explaining and proving we lived in the apartment, but he flat-out refused, saying it wasn’t his problem.
