- Asmara (1/5): Would not recommend - Location was near a tram shop, coffee shop, old centre with a Coles, butcher and reject shop type. Staff not helpful. Refused to allow us to change dates when our son broke his hand before the trip even after showing proof and having booking.com please our case as well. Experienced a few times people yelling and fighting each other on the streets outside so did not feel very safe No spare keys. Refused to help us Get spare keys and we ended up having to pay a locksmith $600 to get back in Water stains on the roof, beds and lounge very uncomfortable. Fire alarm battery went off all night. Toilet downstairs runs water constantly when flushed and you have to jiggle it. Bedroom on the front room has light shining in it from the outside constantly with no way to block it Not good for anyone with mobility issues, luggage or young kids. Two flights of stairs to get to the apartment a the apartment itself is all stairs which was not advised.
