- Xin (10/5): Wonderful experience! - Wonderful breakfast in the sun room with home made croissants, bread and yogurts, strawberries are so fresh and tasty! Long wooden table with small yellow flowers from the garden, you can’t ask for more.
- Marcel (10/5): Charming Rustic Wine Estate with laid back vibe. - Rustic winery estate. Excellent host. 1st class bistro offering excellent meals. Wild peacocks roam the property and lazy cats lounge about. It was all good

- Mark (10/5): We highly recommend Campuget as a quiet retreat - The location of Campuget is great as long as you have a car. We were able to do many great day trips just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. We also enjoyed wine tasting and purchasing a few bottles of their wine. The staff is over the top helpful and friendly.
- George Kirchhoffer (8/5): Nice few days at the winery. - It is centrally located . close to Arles, Nimes and Avignon. Staff was very friendly. and Breakfast was very nice. Need some updating look like it get be upgraded
- Vincent (9/5): - Large comfortable room in a character full location. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Just a shame that the bistro was closed during our visit otherwise all good.
- Colin (10/5): Magical experience surrounded by vineyards - An amazing experience! Set in gorgeous, mature gardens, we received a warm welcome from our host, Louis who gave us a little tour. Our room was grand, spotless and the bed was so comfortable.
The staff were brilliant - we enjoyed a relaxed wine tasting in the stunning stone room. We were free to roam around the vineyard.
Quiet, peaceful at night. Being a Wednesday, the evening Bistro wasn’t open, so we now have another reason to return because the setting and lighting at night is magical.
The breakfast is first class with fine local produce and was served in the conservatory. Another exquisite setting with a garden aspect and a photographers delight as peacocks slowly wander in close view.
We chose Chateau de Campuget for our anniversary and it was as special as we hoped (per other reviews).
And as a bonus, the wines are spectacular!
- Carole (10/5): Magnifique endroit, personnel des plus agréable et à l’écoute.Tout était parfait - Tout était parfait
- Harper (10/5): A superb place to stay for 3 nights - This was a wonderful place to stay for 3 nights - a chateau in the countryside which is also a working vineyard, so it is not a run of the mill hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our room was large and air conditioned, so the temperature was always comfortable. For breakfast there was a variety of home made and locally sourced produce, including bread, cheeses, quiche, croissants, pain au chocolat, yoghurt, jam, honey and apple juice - all delicious. Although it is deep in the countryside it is within easy driving distance of Nimes and the Pont du Gard. We would go back tomorrow if we could! Nothing.
- Amber (10/5): Unforgettable experience from start to finish. - This beautiful property was nestled right in the heart of a beautiful winery, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The setting alone is spectacular—rolling vineyards, a peaceful and quaint backdrop. Breakfast was a true highlight: fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared with care. Our host Luis was incredibly accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. From adjusting breakfast times to fit our schedule, to offering thoughtful recommendations for local dining and attractions. We will definitely be back.

- Cecilr (9/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): Incredible oasis in a charming chateau - The pool is a lovely oasis, the breakfast is excellent, Franklin and Louis are wonderful hosts, and the resident cat and peacocks are adorable. Nothing
- robbin (10/5): Great atmosphere, great amenities, good breakfast, amazing wines (you can taste them all!) and lovely staff - The buildings and area are very romantic. Tres bon!
- Catalina (10/5): Amazing, would always come back if searching for a place to stay in the area. - So friendly stuff, special thanks to Louis. -

- Nicky (8/5): Very good -
- Yulia (10/5): Would recommend everyone I know - Very beautiful secluded place we enjoyed good view garden huge pool and host were wonderful and welcoming! And peacocks are so cute !!! I would change double bed to queen size :)
- M&a (9/5): Amazing Stay at the Chateau Campuget! - We had a wonderful stay at the Chateau! Our bedroom on the upper floor was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and it featured two newly renovated shower stalls. However, it’s worth noting that there was no toilet upstairs—the only one available was on the first floor, which was a bit inconvenient for us as an older couple, especially during the night.
Our host, Louis, greeted us every morning with a huge smile and served breakfast in the cozy, romantic setting of the beautiful atrium. The breakfast spread included delicious pastries, coffee, cheeses, homemade jam, cereal, and a locally made apple juice that was absolutely to die for. Louis is a very pleasant young man, always attentive to our needs. We really enjoyed chatting and sharing laughs with him—it was a lovely way to start each day.
The Chateau itself offers amazing views and is full of old-world charm. The buildings are well maintained and radiate warmth and history.
Overall, we highly recommend the Chateau for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in a romantic setting. Don't miss the chance to sample the excellent wines from their winery!
Helene and Des A couple of things to keep in mind when booking: as mentioned, the toilet situation may not be ideal for everyone, and dinners are only served starting in June. Since we booked in May, this was a bit inconvenient given the limited nearby dining options. It’s definitely something to inquire about ahead of time if dinner service is important to you.
- Austin (10/5): Exceptional - The staff member who looked after us, Louis, was incredibly kind, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. We had arrived unusually late due to a train cancellation issue, and although it was after hours for us to request an extra blanket, Louis handled it with grace and quickness.
- Marie-claire (10/5): A beautiful country side retreat. - Tranquility and beauty. Louis was kind, attentive and very accommodating. The peacocks were entertaining. Lovely pool. Really enjoyed the other guests. Food and wine were great. Room was large and comfortable. Located within short driving distance of many sites. Great home base. Loved to be able to journey during the day and come back and relax, have a nice meal and enjoy the other guests.
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional - Campuget has a generous attitude toward their guest. One is well card for in every way. Louis, was amazing. He is the go to guy for everything. He is always accessible, helpful, and kind. His hospitality comes from within and is very much a part of who he is.
The room was large and comfortable, the grounds spacious and beautiful. The wine so very good and priced reasonably. The owner Franklin Dalle served us wine and sat with just the two of us in an informal wine tasting. He is of course very knowledgeable about wine, yet unpretentious , and warm and kind. Such a privilege to meet him.
The food we had for dinner was outstanding! We had lamb ( raised on their property) that was so delicious! The beef we had the next night was perfectly prepared rare yet charred on the outside with wonderful seasoning. Dining was enjoyable sitting outside and all who worked there were friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was our best breakfast of the trip so far. And, we have found a new wine we love! We have never liked Rose’ until now! Their wines very good and priced well.
We hope to return! There was nothing we didn’t like!
- Kunal (10/5): Exceptional - This property is like a small piece of paradise. Surrounded by vineyards, the chateau has a rustic and elegant charm with expansive gardens and beautiful peacocks who greet you every morning. The room itself is large and comfortable. Breakfast is hearty and served in a beautiful conservatory and lounge. And Louis, who takes care of property is super helpful. The property is central and well located from all major attractions like Arles, Pont Du Gard, Avignon and Nîmes. Overall 10/10.
- Kathleen (10/5): Recommend - will stay again. Very close to many towns/sites - Staff and experience was excellent …wine tasting, villa tour and breakfast
