• Vilinh (10/5): Great day, would recommend. - Great location- quiet but walking distance to the beach. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Water pressure and hot water from the shower was also nice. Staff are super friendly and provided great recommendations. The riad and room are nicely decorated. The breakfast spread was tasty as well.

And the most delicious breakfast. But best of all the truly attentive service - amazing communication and on- top of everything you might need. By far all round the best hotel I’ve stayed in for a while. Thank you 🙏 Nothing but if have to pick something there was a kettle & mugs in the room ( very exciting to an English gitl who loves her tea) but no tea or coffee provided. Really NOT a problem!!

Le riad est magnifique, décoré avec énormément de goût, très calme et parfaitement situé à quelques minutes de Bab Marrakech. La suite était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Le rooftop est incroyable, surtout au petit-déjeuner avec la vue sur la médina et la mer. L’équipe a été adorable du début à la fin, toujours disponible et attentionnée. Mention spéciale pour l’accueil et l’aide avec nos bagages depuis le parking. Nous avons aussi réservé un hammam et une balade en chameau grâce au riad, tout était parfaitement organisé. Une expérience authentique et relaxante que nous recommandons à 100 %.

The location is ideal, just a few minutes from Bab Marrakech and the Medina, yet very calm and relaxing. The riad is beautifully designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is excellent, and every detail is carefully curated. The rooftop terrace is a highlight, breakfast there is simply amazing, fresh and delicious, with a beautiful view. What truly makes this place outstanding is the service. Salim and his team are incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The service is flawless, communication is easy, and everything is perfectly organized (arrival, porter, transfers, etc.). From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of, they arranged a porter to carry our luggage from the nearest parking at Bab Marrakech, which made the arrival very smooth and stress-free. We felt at home from the very first moment. This is without hesitation one of the best places to stay in Essaouira. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Nous étions deux amies et dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillies avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d’attention. Nous avons adoré la terrasse sur le rooftop, surtout pour le petit-déjeuner qui était délicieux et servi dans un cadre exceptionnel avec une vue incroyable. L’emplacement est idéal, à quelques minutes seulement du parking Bab Marrakech, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié le service de porteur pour les bagages, très pratique. Toute l’équipe a été aux petits soins avec nous pendant tout le séjour. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison, dans une ambiance calme et chaleureuse. The welcome is warm, with tea and biscuits. Breakfast on the roof in the sun, is good. The coffee was good. When looking for the property,, it would have helped if there was sign saying ‘Riad Chama’. There was a ‘smell’ in our bathroom, nothing terrible.

• Krisztina (10/5): Beautiful riad in a quiet but central location - The Riad was very new, opened only about 6 months before our stay. Everything was clean and modern. The location was perfect, nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from Bab Marrakech. Service was great, we were asked every evening what we’d like for breakfast and when it should be served. We really liked this approach as we always had what we wanted and there was no food waste. Breakfast was a combination of traditional Moroccan pancakes, bread, cheese, butter, jam, orange juice, mint tea and coffee. Everything was excellent

• Gemma (9/5): Excellent - great shower! - The Riad was in an easy to reach part of the Medina and quite easy to find. It’s located off a back street so it’s pretty quiet. People respected the quiet times and I slept soundly. The staff are so welcoming and helpful they couldn’t do enough for you. The Riad itself is charming, bright and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and the bathroom was big with a really good hot shower (just have to let it run a while to get hot) I struggled with the breakfast it was quite carb heavy with very little protein options apart from 1 egg. I don’t speak French very well so it was hard to communicate to ask for something else but apart from that all in all a great stay
• francesca (10/5): Un oasi accogliente fatti di persone accogliente e spazi arredati con cura. - Il nostro soggiorno al Riad Chama é stato fantastico, Khaoula ci ha accolti calorosamente fin da subito, ci hanno offerto del tea con dei buonissimi biscotti fatti in casa anche se il nostro arrivo é stato molto presto la mattina. Dopo la prima notte in una struttura non proprio accogliente siamo arrivati al Riad Chama e ci siamo subito rilassati. Khaoula ci ha anche mandato una lista di ristoranti dove mangiare. Hanno anche accolto le nostre offerte speciali come deposito bagagli e una colazione anticipata tipo doggy bag che é stata esauda addirittura con una mini colazione. Camere e bagno molto spaziosi e letti molto comodi, niente rumore di traffico o disturbo durante la notte.
• Randy (7/5): Nice Riad, needs an air freshener in toilet room. - The Riad was very pretty, and the rooftop view was nice. The evening call to prayer was a cultural highlight. The bathroom smelled really sour, and caused the room to smell once the windows were shut for the night. The room had no other ventilation, and we didn’t want to leave the windows open for the noise.

• Charlotte (10/5): Incredible stay, an oasis in the heart of the medina - We had the most incredible stay at Riad Chama. It was a beautiful Riad in the best location inside the Medina - a real oasis from the hustle and bustle. Exceptionally clean, spacious room and we loved the beautiful rooftop. We spent lots of time soaking up the sun and enjoying the views. The breakfast was amazing too and staff were so lovely - nothing was too hard. Would highly recommend Nothing

Selon les chambres , pas de fenêtre donnant sur la rue, mais sur le patio , donc plus difficile d ‘aérer
• Petra (9/5): Sehr charmantes Riad in bester Lage! - Super Lage, ruhige Seitenstraße, Frühstück auf der Terrasse, Blick von der Terrasse. Khaoula hat sich perfekt um alles gekümmert und war jederzeit für Fragen oder Anliegen zu erreichen. Alle Zimmer in unterschiedlichen Farben und Dekor, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zum traditionellen marokkanischen Handwerk. Sehr schön eingerichtete Gemeinschaftsräume. Das marokkanische Frühstück war lecker und wurde in traditionellem Geschirr serviert. Da wir 4 Nächte dort waren, wäre es schön gewesen, noch andere marokkanische Köstlichkeiten zum Frühstück probieren zu können. Da ich sehr gerne lese, wäre es schön gewesen, z.B. auf dem Nachttisch eine Lampe zu haben, die auch zum Lesen genug Licht spendet.

Breakfast was very comfy It was advertised as soundproofing wall, but actually not. A couple stayed next to my room, doing adults activity in the mid-afternoon and I think the whole building can hear it!! Weak sound proofing is common for Riad, so I think that advertising should be removed

Looks like this has been resolved on booking.com now. Arrived, was allocated the three triples. It was Valentine’s Day, I was with my wife. I explained to staff that was an issue for me. She laughed at me. I asked if I could move, they tried to charge me €30 an extra each night. I asked the host if she was willing to help at all. Verbatim, her response was ‘no.’ Again, smiling and laughing. Property owner/manager messaged me after. Rather than asking me what’s wrong and how he can help, he effectively just accused me of being problematic. TLDR: look elsewhere, where staff are properly trained and understand how to make their guests happy

• Lea (9/5): - Uns hat besonders gut gefallen, dass das Riad von Frauen geführt wird. Alle waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm und für die Lage überraschend ruhig. Besonders schön war auch das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer. Außerdem haben wir uns sehr über das kleine Abschiedsgeschenk gefreut.

Nous avons pu avoir un petit déjeuner prêt malgré notre départ très tôt pour l'aéroport.( Merci beaucoup pour cette attention) Beau panorama face à la mer depuis la terrasse. Juste un petit désagrément au niveau des odeurs de canalisation dans la salle de bain un peu gênant. Manque des rideaux pour le troisième couchage exposé à la lumière du riad ( dans une belle alcôve) et des vacanciers qui rentrent tard et n'eteignent pas les lumières ! Le drap housse du 3 ème couchage n'est pas adapté à la taille du matelas, matelas assez dur.
• Aurelie (9/5): Dépaysant - L’accueil, le sourire du personnel kaoula est super gentille. La chambre est magnifique. Le rooftop avec une superbe vue sur Essaouira. Je conseille d’aller voir le coucher de soleil. Le petit déjeuner très copieux et délicieux.

Teenindus väga sõbralik, saime väikese kingituse äraminekul. Üks parimatest ööbimisest meie reisi jooksul. Väga hea hommikusöök ka! Väga meeldis vannitoa lahendus. See oli kindlalt meie reisi parim! Toas oli jahe, aga õnneks oli radiaator. Riad on õhtuti-öösiti "vaiksed" tunnid, kahjuks mitte kõik elanikud ei austa reegleid, oli päris lärmakas meie ajal

• IngridMichel (10/5): - Geweldige riad centraal in de medina maar toch rustig. Luxe gerenoveerd met alle confort van nu. Regendouche en apart toilet. Comfortabele bedden met fijn beddengoed op ruime kamers. Heerlijk halal ontbijt! Khaoula en haar staf zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dé plek in te verblijven in Essaouira !
• saidi (10/5): Juste magnifique! - Merci pour l’accueil , très beau Riad , tout neuf , équipe très serviable, on m’a envoyé un porteur de bagages jusqu’à Bab Marrakech , le petit dej est juste magnifique servi dans la plus haute terrasse de la médina d’essaouira avec une magnifique vue mer. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute :)
• Regis (9/5): Très bon séjour, dans un bel endroit avec un très bon accueil; j'y retournerai sans problème. - L'établissement est très bien situé, dans la médina, mais assez éloigné des rues très passantes, facilement accessible; parking à proximité; la literie est de bonne qualité; très bel accueil, Khaoula est très toujours prête à rendre service; bon petit déjeuner.

Riad très propre avec le personnel très gentil - merci khaoula ! Le troisième couchage sur le divan sans possibilité de fermer un volet - le 3 eme lit pas fait.
• Chantal (8/5): - Riad absolument magnifique ! Superbes salons de détente, chambre tres confortable .les WC sont indépendants, ce qui est assez rare pour le signaler. Calme , bien situé dans la medina . L'accueil un peu impersonnel .J'ai voulu aller au hammam conseillée et accompagnée par khaoula .Quelle horreur une vraie usine ...belle arnaque ! Il n'y a rien pour étendre les serviettes dans la salle de bains et comme le ménage est en supplément pour 10€ , les serviettes de bains au bout de 5 nuits ne sechaient pas .!!!

• Kristel (8/5): Fijn nieuw verblijf middenin de medina met een uitstekende, flexibele gastvrouw - De locatie was middenin de medina en gemakkelijk bereikbaar. De accommodatie was splinternieuw en de badkamer was goed uitgerust. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. De service van Khaoula was voortreffelijk! En zij was erg flexibel. Een gratis porter bracht onze bagage naar de bestemming. De kamers waren redelijk prijzig en er komt tax en belasting ( ter plaatse) bovenop. Het schoonmaken van de kamer tijdens je verblijf kost €10 extra per keer. Onze kamer ( de groene) was ook redelijk vochtig. Dus prijs- kwaliteit verhouding vond ik minder.

La localisation est un vrai plus, tout est accessible à pied (port, plages, restaurants, souks), ce qui rend le séjour très pratique. Le riad est très propre et joliment décoré c’est vraiment agréable. Le petit-déjeuner inclus était bon et varié. L’accueil a été chaleureux. • Arzu (10/5): Ein wunderschönes, neues Riad mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einem großartigen Gastgeber – absolut empfehlenswert. - Das Riad wurde erst vor Kurzem eröffnet und alles wirkt entsprechend neu, hochwertig und sehr gepflegt. Die gesamte Anlage ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für kühlere Abende steht eine elektrische Heizung zur Verfügung, die vollkommen ausreicht – wir haben sie lediglich an einem Abend genutzt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Inhaber Sahim: äußerst freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam. Er hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen, uns die Umgebung gezeigt, wertvolle Tipps gegeben und war jederzeit bei Fragen für uns da. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und bestens betreut gefühlt. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
