• Ramona Gabriela (7/5): - Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da. Dafür war es ok. Der in der Beschreibung versprochene Meerblick und Balkon ist eine Etage höher. Die Unterkunft ist allerdings inmitten der Medina. Haufenweise Unrat auf den Dächern inklusive. Das muss man in Marokko eben in Kauf nehmen. Wenn man darüber hinweg sieht, dann ist der Meerblick schön. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber und ordentlich. Der junge Mann, der mit uns im Kreis gelaufen ist, um uns zur Unterkunft zu bringen, unverschämt. Wollte nur etwas Kleingeld verdienen.

Possibilité de prendre le petit dejeuner dans un autre bâtiment très proche. la chambre est très humide comme presque partout au Maroc il n'y a pas d'isolation phonique et le quartier est très vivant jusqu'à tard dans la nuit...

• Leandro (4/5): Vanno messe a posto alcune cose - Colazione molto buona e terrazza panoramica L'hotel non ha una reception, ma usa quella di un altro hotel nelle vicinanze che probabilmente appartiene agli stessi proprietari. Al piano sopra il nostro c'era un piccolo cantiere attivo fino alle 23. Durante la notte c'era gente (verosimilmente non ospiti) che saliva e scendeva le scale e una volta qualcuno ha cercato di entrare in camera.
• Max (4/5): - 2e ochtend werd ik wakker en ontdekte ik dat de vloer helemaal nat was. Langs beide ramen had het binnen geregend, terwijl deze gesloten waren. Water kroop ook in de muren, wat ervoor zorgde dat de kamer heel de tijd vochtig aanvoelde. Gezien de regenval, wou ik mijn kleren laten drogen aan de klink van de ramen, maar bijgevolg werden deze alleen maar meer nat.
• Marta (1/5): Ni cinco minutos nos quedamos - Absolutamente nada, ni siquiera nos quedamos y eso que habíamos pagado para 5 noches!!! Tuvimos que buscarnos otro alojamiento. Sitio pequeño, cutre, sucio. Se supone que teníamos una habitación de 25 m² con baño en la habitación (y este con ballera) todo mentira! Nada de posibilidad de desayuno, te mandan una cafetería famosa Pedimos que nos pusieran las camas juntas y ni siquiera, cuando fuimos a hacerlo nosotros y abrimos el armario que había entre ella, vimos que estaba lleno de sábanas sucias. Fue la gota que colmó el vaso. Lo único bueno, es que pudimos usar la Wi-Fi para buscar un Hotel y salir corriendo de allí.

• Gilbert (6/5): Jolie chambre d'hôte accueillante mais à améliorer... - L'accueil, la propreté, la taille de la chambre, la localisation. Nassib est très réactif et la chambre est très bien située. Tout est très joli et semble neuf, mais déjà en train de s'abimer. Les fenêtres ferment très mal à cause de l'humidité. En cas de fortes pluie, l'eau rentre par une fenêtre dans la chambre. Des traces noires d'humidité à plusieurs endroits. La clim nécessaire est bruyante.

• Jbr. (1/5): Pure fraud - A CATASTROPHIC stay! The so-called sea-view deluxe room is a damp nightmare faces a wall less than a meter away. Inside : relentless humidity, walls crawling with mold and fungus, peeling falling paint, and windows that don’t close properly, making the dampness unbearable. You literally sleep in a sticky, soaked environment, sheets included. Absolutely UNSANITARY ! Safety is a joke: the AC pipes run directly through the shower, and using the hairdryer in the bathroom caused a power outage across the entire building. Completely reckless! The state of the equipment is equally appalling: an unusable wardrobe with no hanging rail, shattered vases, a broken toilet brush… everything is broken or dangerous. This is pure FRAUD ! Staff on-site (reception, maintenance) were correct and polite, but the managers are utterly incompetent: empty promises, repeated lies. They actively refuse any responsibility. The photos leave no room for doubt. This place must be avoided at all costs, it’s unworthy of a city and country that are otherwise exceptional!

• Nur Afina (10/5): Cozy - It’s quite a short distance to the main road. The host was welcoming and helped us carry our luggages up the stairs. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Hot water came out quickly. They also provided us with complimentary large mineral water. Charging ports at each bedside. There’s really nice rooftop area with seats so you can hangout and chill. Overall a comfortable stay. The room was a bit small so there were not much space to open our luggages. The pillow was a bit hard and high for me.

• deborah (10/5): Tout ce que je voulais, voire plus ! Merci - L’accueil sympa et personnalisée de Mohamed Ali. La chambre (avec salle de bain) était parfaite, petite, mais tout ce qu’il me fallait. Très propre, beaucoup de charme. Avec deux terrasses magnifiques. Vue superbe sur la ville, c’était vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. Je ne m’attendais pas à autant. Juste une petite confusion sur où me présenter à mon arrivée car l’établissement est sur deux sites (qui sont à deux pas). Une lenteur d’Internet, le soir, plus une coupure, mais qui, semble-t-il concernait tout le quartier, pas que l’établissement.

• Karl (7/5): Great location and price, just a bit noisy and difficult to get to the room with the tight stairs and no elevator. - Basic, but fine for what you pay for on overall comfort and location. However, it was extremely loud all night with the sounds of birds screeching unfortunately... we found it incredibly difficult to sleep, so that wasn't a great start to our trip. Maybe the lower floors are better? Also note there is no elevator, so lugging large suitcases up to the higher floors is quite tricky.
• López (6/5): Buen sitio por el precio - La habitación está muy bien equipada, y son cómodas, además cuenta con una terraza con unas vistas muy chulas de tanger La ubicación es muy confusa, empezando en que no explican que el check in no se hace donde están las habitaciones, sino en la recepción de otro Riad que está en otro sitio. Si no es porque el chico nos llevó, no hubiéramos llegado. No incluyen desayuno, pero podrían ofrecer la pequeña cocina que tienen para que puedas hacerte algo para desayunar, aunque no tenían prácticamente nada. Nuestra habitación (la cual estaba arriba del todo) daba a un edificio contiguo en el cual se oían constantemente ruidos de pájaros bastantes molestos.

The host was very responisve with clear instruction on how to access the room, property manager was very friendly. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, airconditioning worked very well. The rooftop was also very nice with a good view.

Terraza con vistas bonitas de la ciudad. Mohamed muy amable, nos invitó a un té mientras esperábamos que la habitación estuviera lista. Repetiría. Quizá algo mejorable la comodidad de los colchones.

Nothing we didn’t like but: don’t rely on google maps to locate the hostel, better to ask for a pin. Crazy tall stairs! But once you climb up to the rooftop the view is amazing!

• Joaquin (10/5): Great Riad in the heart of Tangier’s medina - Great location in the medina, clean comfortable and quiet at night for a nice resting sleep on incredibly comfy bed. Mohammed at the reception helped us with everything, making it all easy for us. We travel to Morocco regularly. Whenever we return to Tangier, we’ll be staying at Al Baraka.

From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always kind, attentive, and helpful with anything we needed. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable — everything was spotless and well cared for, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is fantastic 🤩, with beautiful traditional Moroccan touches that give the DAR a unique and authentic charm. Every corner has its own character. The traditional breakfast was served at RIAD AMR, and it was one of the highlights of the stay: fresh products, delicious local flavors, and a beautifully arranged table. You can really feel the love they put into every detail. I highly recommend this place and would love to return again! Nothing

The room had everything we needed, a big comfortable bed, and excellent AC. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the medina and close to great restaurants. We loved sitting on the rooftop reading and enjoying the great view over the whole old town.
