Grace (10/5): - The hotel, the room were very clean; the front desk staff were very nice and friendly, breakfast was average, please add waffle maker. The pancake maker didn’t produce a nice looking pancake.
Ray (8/5): Great place to stay minus the pool area - Breakfast was really good, room was clean, the pool area was dirty, the timer on the hot tub didnt work, and at night if you’re not in the pool the motion sensor lights will shut off like some sort of 1990’s horror movie. 5 star place to stay if you dont want to swim or soak. The hotel is right next to the train so you will hear the train horn

We ended up leaving the bathroom door open with the AC on so it was more comfortable. And breakfast was good and changed each day.

Me parece que no tuvieron ese cuidado de limpiar bien . La puerta del baño se enllava por fuera y es un poco incómodo cada ve que se usa . La llave de la habitación no funcionaba por suerte pedí 2 llaves así que solo pude usar 1 . Y lo que aún no entiendo es porque me compraron $14 extra cuando salí del hotel si no tuve ningun pedido extra en el hotel . Tampoco obtuve información o recibo sobre este cargo al momento de hacer mi check out .

So I had to kill about an hour in a town I did not know just to get a reserved room with ants and a discarded fake eyelash on the radio. Otherwise, the Hotel met what I expect from the Holiday Inn Express brand. And I still had my check-in delayed so the clerk could attend to her minor child who appeared to be helping the cleaning staff.

Stephanie (8/5): Reliable Stop - After a long 8-hour drive, we were thrilled to find the hotel easily right off the I5! There's a gas station right next door, which made fueling up super convenient. The staff at check-in were so welcoming and helpful, which really set a positive tone for our stay. Our room was clean, the air conditioner worked like a champ, and while the bed was just okay, the bathroom was fresh and tidy. My son absolutely loved the indoor pool and spa—such a great way to unwind after that long drive! They do offer breakfast in the morning, but we decided to hit the road early instead. Overall, it was a fantastic stop that I’d recommend for any road trip or visit!

The room we stayed in had not yet been renovated, so expected the dirty carpet. The bed was extremely firm which did not help my back any, however I still got a decent amount of sleep.

Sarah (10/5): Red Bluff Round Up 2025 - A friend and I came over from the coast to stay and go Round up and the hotel was very nice and clean, looked like they were in a remodel, but with all that going on it still was nice and clean. We got in super late on the day of check in and the young gentleman was so friendly and understanding. I forget his name though, but he was great and got us checked in relatively quick.

John (8/5): Nice rooms, undergoing construction - Very nicely proportioned bedrooms, dog friendly. Check in with evening receptionist left a lot to be desired had to ask about check out, breakfast, and pool times, only to find out pool is closed. He swiped for extras but no extras available, no bar, no food as the whole hotel is a building site and being renovated. Worse aspect was the electric charging points were blocked by non electric cars. Should be lovely after renovations.

James (2/5): - They were under construction it smelled of mastic, varnish and sheetrock dust, so we immediately asked for a refund. they told us to contact you. Which we did. Now Expedia says they contacted management at the hotel to refund our money because we did not stay there even one and we were charged for two nights. According to the email I received from Expedia the hotel refused to cancel the room charges, they told us Expedia has to cancel the charges, so we are getting the royal runaround. :( So we are extremely hesitant to stay at IHG again and to use Expedia.
Brandon (2/5): - They are remodeling and going about it ALL WRONG!! We had to breathe drywall dust the entire time! We got in late. I called ahead and the front desk girl never mentioned that you were remodeling. They are remodeling everywhere wherever they choose so your morning breakfast is full of gypsum.. lovely.. there’s cigarette butt’s everywhere outside, the room we stayed in smelled of offgass from the new paint, new caulking, new carpet.. not a good thing as you would know in a common sense thinking type of scenario. Don’t stay here unless you love to be around this. OH and when I asked about the pool over the phone, she said it was open.. well if you want just go take a look through the window! The pools not even covered and that’s where they are storing all the construction materials and cutting! Good luck cleaning it all up! That will take some serious labor.. never again will I ever stay here.. Word to the wise, AVOID!
Mariela (2/5): - We were traveling from Oregon to Arizona and stopped at this hotel to take a break. While the staff was friendly, the room was in poor condition. The carpet was dirty, the curtains were torn, and there were cobwebs on the walls. The hotel's website features misleading photos that don't reflect the actual state of the room. Unfortunately, due to spring break and limited availability at other nearby hotels, we had no choice but to stay. We ended up paying for a room that did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness and quality, making it impossible to rest.
Mark (4/5): - Construction underway in lobby and third floor. Noisy folks above us, walking and running. Room was adjacent to noisy I-5 and poorly insulated. Bed was aged and sagging in the center. Long past time to replace the mattress and possibly the box springs. Plumbing loose in the bathroom. And we paid more for this place than I ever have in Red Bluff. Total rip off.

Verified traveler (8/5): Good place to stay for a family - Hotel was under construction so lobby had a staging area for remodel materials. Pool was out of commission and was being used as storage for the renovations as well. Staff was very friendly and professional, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Sheets and bedding were good quality& pillows came in 2 types of firmness. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. Many choices at the breakfast provided with plenty of time to get food before they closed the kitchen. We will stay here again.

It was unsafe and we didn’t feel comfortable walking around the inside of the lobby area. Our bathroom towel rack was about to fall off the wall!

Linzi (10/5): Holiday Inn - Ive stayed here about 4x. I use this hotel as a stopping place before going over the Shasta pass (im not keen to drive the pass at night in winter). The area is a bit remote. It’s about a 10min drive to any restaurants. There is an AMPM quickie mart + gas station a 2min walk. Parking is good. Water is hot. The dog area is decent. I also feel okay being out at 3a if my dog needs to go out. I prefer this location instead of going up to Redding, which is a bit congested.
Rocio (4/5): - This place has a part that is still under construction, the room we stayed in was leaking from the window since it was raining, you can hear everything through the walls and at 4:30 am the room at the upper level from us had a kid running around and jumping off the bed for a couple hours, not letting us sleep at all.

Cambria (2/5): - This hotel smelt awful. They were redoing the entrance of the hotel, no problem. When we entered in the back to go upstairs it smelt like old seafood. We got to our room on the second floor and it smelt so bad. We turned on the fan which we expected to make it smell better, the smell got worse and unbearable. We had to leave the hotel because of the smell.
Jim (2/5): - Check in was perfect, thank you! But arguably one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Construction all over the hotel and the worst neighbors above....floors are so thin you can hear everything....STAY AWAY!
Carlene (6/5): - They we’re remodeling so it was kind of a mess. No Christmas decorations up. The bed was not comfortable, very hard, no soft top. The breakfast was pretty good. I do like the sink being in the bathroom, that way you can get ready and not wake up others.

Beth (4/5): - I think the hotel is usually pretty good, but during my stay the lobby was under construction. Workers were sanding, panting, using all kinds of power tools, and dust was thick in the air coming into the lobby. I almost walked out, but didn't have time to find another place. Fortunately, my room upstairs was clean and you couldn't hear the construction noise.
Francine (4/5): - I specifically chose this hotel because it had a hot tub/pool and a gym. At no point while making my reservation did they say this place was being remodeled and there was NO pool, NO hot tub and that it was being remodeled! Needless to say I was very disappointed when I got there and would have chose to stay somewhere else if I had not already paid. The staff was rude, unapologetic and gave me some bs about them 'updating their policies'. At the very least I would have liked to been compensated or comped in some way. It is also very noisy-freeway, main road and the next door neighbors tv. For the money, I would not recommend this place at all as Motel 6 would have given me the same thing but a smaller room!

Richard (2/5): - The property was being remodeled. It should never have been open for business. Shame on Expedia for booking this hotel under these conditions. We will NEVER AGAIN USE Expedia to book a hotel.
Amy (8/5): - I rented a room for my 8 year old daughters birthday, for the sole purpose to take her swimming at the only place in red bluff with an indoor pool. It was close our whole stay, very disappointing!
Marjorie (6/5): - I use a walker and the tiles were torn up and loose and no other way around to the elevator. Also the the pool and hot tub were closed . We paid for them and no discount offered or upgrade offered when asked for. Not pleased .
Sheila (4/5): Not here - Elevator out due to tiling floor. Had to carry bags upstairs. Ended up routed outside in rain all around hotel to get anywhere. Tub stopper didnt work. Hair dryers are 30 years old. Hot tub and pool closed.
Timothy (4/5): Road trip - So the hotel is going through some major renovations. I would have thought that if they were still welcoming guests then more could be done to hide all the work and mess. The gal who checked us in was pretty unfriendly and preoccupied. No friendly welcome at all. On a positive note, the room was great and the breakfast delicious.
George (10/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel. It was under renovation, which meant the back door lock was not working, which I wish they had told me as I had to walk around the hotel at 6:30am Otherwise nice facility and friendly staff.

Soshana (10/5): Such a good hotel - this IHG hotel in Red Bluff was amazing. It was easy location to freeway, to restaurants and for parking lot. The front staff were great. The breakfast was very good. The rooms, beds and shower / bathroom amenities were SO great! Comfy bed and great pillows. Dove brand shower and bath products - so nice! Thanks for a great stay!

Sheena (6/5): - Nice hotel but don’t come for the pool. As soon as you walk in it’s steaming hot with poor ventilation. The kids toughed it out for 15 minutes before we had to leave because the chlorine burned our eyes so bad. Good breakfast.
Hoang (10/5): - It's a holiday inn. What more can I say. Room had a high ceiling and was clean. AC wasnt loud. Breakfast was plentiful.
Karen (6/5): - Property was great, staff was friendly. Toilet didn’t work well. One guest smoked weed in their room, setting off the fire alarm all night and stopping the elevators from running. Not the fault of the Holiday Inn, but after the initial incident, the alarms were intermittent all night long.

Edward (10/5): - My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was good. This hotel is not fancy, but it was just what I need for a good night’s rest and a decent breakfast to get me started. Everything was clean and well-stocked. I will definitely stay here again.
Nicholas (2/5): - When you walk into the building, it appears to be quite lovely. However, as you go further up into the building, it was very gross. The room smelled like feet, there was stains on the desk chair and carpet, and there was garbage between the nightstand and bed. We do not recommend.

Jane (10/5): Exceeded expectations. - Our stay exceeded our expectations. The room was very nice, the bathroom was clean and the dining area for breakfast was roomy and comfortable. The free breakfast offered biscuits and gravy, sausages, hot links and a good variety of what you would want in the morning. I loved the eco-friendly touches of dispensers for bath products instead of small plastic bottles and the shade provided by solar panels in the parking area. Everyone is friendly and it’s a great value.
Araceli (10/5): - Excelente stay! The location is perfect nice little town clean and quite. The hotel was great rooms were nice good size, clean, all your necessities on hand and the bed was really comfortable nice blackout curtains! Breakfast was excellent!! Will definitely come back when ever in the area.
