• Giorgio (8/5): Una breve sosta di relax! - Solo una notte ma è stata sufficiente per fare il tradizionale giro dei mercatini Bolognesi, a pochi metri dall'anno struttura. Un bel è piacevole soggiorno, il proprietario molto alla mano e cortese.

• Nicole (10/5): Nice B&B in Bologna - Marco met us along with his mascot, Lola. We needed to arrange our next train itinerary to Lake Garda and he was very friendly and helpful to call and find out which trains to get. He also arranged for a taxi pickup in the morning. Everything was very clean and well kept. Only had a fan in the room but it was still comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was all set up for us and we were able to enjoy it at leisure. The artwork on the walls was painted by Marco throughout the years.

• Liz (10/5): Sehr individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail - Für einen Kurzurlaub in Bologna kann ich dieses chice B&B nur wärmstens empfehlen. Marco hat sich viel Mühe gegeben bei der Einrichtung und dies sieht man auch. Alle 4 Zimmer sind unterschiedlich und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Ausgezeichnet fand ich seinen selbst gezeichneten Stadtplan mit persönlichen Empfehlungen über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Unbedingt ein Eis essen in der Cremeria Cavour und dann ALICE bestellen. Hervorragend :-)

• Tarcisio (10/5): Great little place . Great service - This Inn is a great little place to stay. I was surprised i didn't mind the shared bathrooms. Marco does such a great job of keeping everything clean . organized and is very service oriented . I would definetely recommend it

• Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient & Clean but too hot... - Great place, nice bathrooms, pleasant staff. Only problem was we stayed during a horrendously hot evening and all we had was a highly ineffective electric fan to cool three beds. It was impossible to sleep and all of us took cold showers at night and then again in the morning to wash off the sweat. Loved the place but wouldn't do it again in the summertime.

It is spacious, clean, the bed is comfortable, and the interior design is simply beautiful. This is not a surprise, because Marco, the host, is an artist. He is also a perfect host. The location is great, walking distance to the old city-centre. Yet the most wonderful thing about staying here is the chance to meet Nola, a cute little puppy who friendly greets everyone :-)

Il beb e' perfettamente adeguato al clima della citta': accogliente, pulito, originale e amichevole. • kirstie (10/5): Like staying with a friend - ayHOME is basically Marco's apartment - albeit an amazingly beautiful one. He's a great host and the apartment is within walking distance of everywhere in the old city, we came and went freely including coming back in the afternoon for a siesta a couple of times, and were able to enjoy a few days walking around Bologna. It was quiet and cool and Marco was on hand with advice and help where needed (we only really needed it for booking a taxi to the airport). Breakfast is very simple but to be honest, lunch is such a massive event in Bologna that you pretty much don't need more than a cup of coffee first thing. Would definitely go again!

The house is nice and shared bathrooms not a problem. The self service breakfast was ample but mostly pre-packaged cakes although cereal was also available. Would recommend as is very good value.

Dès notre arrivée, il nous a mis très à l'aise et nous a fourni un plan, fait par ses soins, où notamment sont indiquées des adresses de restaurants qu'il recommande. Notre chambre était très propre et agréable!

Magnifique chambre, quartier calme mais proche du centre : attention d'être vigilant sur la rue Garibaldi en venant, sinon on se perd. Des restos et pizzerias pas chers et excellent à 2 minutes à pied. Vraiment à recommander pour découvrir Bologna !
• Paolo (10/5): Come un 4* ma a prezzi convenienti - È un b&b ma sembra un hotel. Bello e curato dalla mano di chi ha un grande amore per l'arte e la cura del dettaglio. Marco e la piccola Lola sono cortesi e discreti. Siamo stati ospiti di AYHome col nostro cagnolino e ci siamo sentiti come a casa. La posizione del posto è ottima, a due passi dal diverse linee di autobus che portano in centro o alla stazione centrale (la circolare 32 passa ogni 10 minuti e ferma molto vicino), il centro storico è raggiungibile anche a piedi con una passeggiata gradevolissima, piazza Maggiore dista non più di 15 minuti a passo lento. Inoltre è quasi attaccato al ristorante Biagi, rinomato per i piatti tradizionali (confermo!). Quando tornerò a Bologna, sarò sicuramente ancora ospite di Marco. Grazie!

Marco was a wonderful host, provided a map he himself made, and was very helpful getting oriented. It was a little tricky to find, but once I was settled in it was easy to get around. The rooms and main area were clean, the breakfast was better than the usual fare, and the artwork was a wonderful touch. Would recommend this place to anyone.

• Jana (10/5): Home from home - I chose ayHome for its location and price but also because a small b&b with more personal attention.. Bologna lived up to my high expectations but it was staying at ayHome that made my stay extra special. Marco is a delightful host, always smiling and ready to help way above the call of duty. From the first moment I felt welcomed and at home. I will return and recommend the b&b to all travellers unreservedly.
• Grant and Debi (10/5): Unique, clean and artsy - AyHome was a superb B&B. Marco keeps his rooms spotless and decorates his place with flair which gives the B&B a unique style. Breakfast was very good and Marco's personally designed map of Bologna including restaurant recommendations was extremely helpful. Easy walking to major sites. We would highly recommend this accommodation .
• Louise (10/5): Good value in a great location - We all slept well with window shutters and curtain on the window, and neighborhood was quiet. Stayed in a good size, clean family room with double and single bed. Complimentary toileteries and map of the town provided with owner's recommendation proved useful. Just 5 min easy walk to main Piazaa. B&B is on the 2nd floor of a residential building. 4 rooms share 2 bathrooms, but it was never a problem whilst we were there.
• Manish (8/5): Nice room in the old city - The B&B is in a quiet road, in the south of the old city. Only 10 mins walk to the main square, but abit difficult to walk to from the train station (30 mins walk). The room was clean and comfortable, The wifi is good, and the bathroom is large and modern. Marco is very hospitable. The breakfast is the usual cakes, cereal and tea/coffee that you get in Italy. I would recommend this B&B to others
