Guest Reviews
- Gloria (8/5): Yearington Inn - Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean, as was the linen & towels. Already booked a stay for next year. Only issue was new cable they just installed. Still working out the kinks.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel room was fine, but although I prepaid, they ran my credit card again at checkin. They also took a Xerox photocopy of my License and Credit Card. Why? They did reverse the charge later, but I had already paid! Lady at desk was polite and nice, but had no authority.
- Ronald (8/5): A nice little hotel - It was a nice little room. About what I would expect for the price and considering its a hotel in a very small town.
My only gripe is that the beds were set up in a weird way that made it hard to access the bathroom. But that's pretty minor overall.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Didn't like their pillows but, room was nice. Had trouble with the TV and a worker was in our room in less than a minute.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's directly across from the Pioneer Crossing which has slot machines, a small town bar and a café. My husband and I went to have a couple of drinks and it was 24 hour happy hour at the bar. 5 drinks for $15! The hotel was quiet even with the basketball teams staying there.
- Nancy (10/5): - We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax, which is just what we needed for the last stop on our high desert road trip. I personally loved all of the toiletries that were provided as the scent was fresh and soothing. The staff was super friendly, even suggesting an alternate route home that was much prettier scenery than our original plan. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely look to stay here!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Yerington Inn - The Hotel is in a great location, right in the center of town. Lots of parking, The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again in the future.
- Nadia H (10/5): Great Service - Much nicer than it used to be. Very friendly office staff. Room newly remodeled! I even left something behind and they found It!
- William (8/5): Yerington Inn a good experience - The Yerington Inn provided a nice atmosphere. This is an older motel in a small town, but the rooms were clean, quiet & comfortable in a peaceful environment. Because we were there for a funeral, they allowed us late check-out to change our clothes afterward. Good food at nearby restaurants.
- Suzanne (6/5): JUST O.K. - Rooms could benefit from blackout curtains. Exterior lights kept room too light, interfering with sleep. Constant problems with key cards. Comfortable, mostly clean room. Some furniture (chairs) are rickety. Somewhat of an odd design with a closet opening into sink area of bathroom.Wifi poor.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room floor had quite a bit of debris that we had to clean up so our crawling baby didn't eat it
- Verified traveler (4/5): should invest in new towels - The towels had stains and didn't look clean. They should invest in new towels. The room served its' purpose however I won't stay there again. I would rather drive to Fallon or Carson City. The room didn't seem clean to me and the stained towels were a definate turn off.
- Kris (4/5): Hotel right downtown - Very nice Staff . Comfortable beds. Great A/C
Right across the street from Casino.
Now the bad....Dirty carpet ( stains years old)!
Outdated. Small rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Worked for 1 night - Comfortable enough for our overnight stay. Check-in was quick & easy with a very friendly staff member. Plenty of parking. Room was clean & welcoming, & fairly quiet during the night. The AC whined when it cycled on - sounded like a jet in the distance getting ready to take off. The shower/toilet room was cramped & steamed up quickly when showering, though the hot water & water pressure felt good! Otherwise things were okay. If one doesn't require a lot of fancy amenities then the Yerington Inn ought to fit the bill.
- matthew (8/5): Worth the money - Exactly as advertised, comfortable room in a small town off the beaten track.
- Tonya (10/5): - Nice spacious room this year stayed in the room
Above the office it was great
- eric (6/5): Short Stay - We only stay in this hotel about 5 hours but it was memorable. We had two queen beds but the sheets were stained or dirty on one so we used the other one.
- Verified traveler (6/5): served its purpose - OK for one night
- RUTH (10/5): - the staff was so great and the room was really clean. thanks for a great week stay
- Diane K (8/5): - Everything was nice about our stay but the young woman that checked us in was rude and told us if we didn't like anything to contact Expedia.
- Jiceri (6/5): Good overall experience - The people were very nice. The room was clean and decent. The casino across the street have a restaurant in it with great food and service.
- Laura (8/5): Stay here!! - This motel is well worth the price! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and really spacious. This was a great surprise at the end of our trip. I'd recommend this motel to anyone going through Yerington!!
- Ulka (8/5): Good place - Little far inside; but was great for the price we paid. Stuff is really helpful and good.
- Kara (10/5): Great place to stay when I'm in town - My family and I come to dirt bike outside of yerington. We stayed here since we arrived late and this was the only hotel we found that accepted pets. It doesn't have the most modern look, but the rooms are very well kept and look very good, and we were extremely satisfied. It is also very reasonably priced. We had to pay $25 for the dogs to stay. I was really satisfied to see that they had new comforters waiting outside our door to make up the room for the next guests. I don't think most hotels go to that trouble. I'll definitely go back!
- Tom (4/5): Passing through - In town on business.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was what one would expect from a 2 star rating
- Kibb (4/5): Anywhere but here. - Hope to never go back there.
- Ashley (8/5): Great - Sounds silly but the only thing I had an issue with was the fan in the bathroom. Incredibly loud and annoying and no way to shut it off so when the people next to me used it. All I heard was an insane fan noise. Great service. Really nice room. I'd stay again.
- Chris (4/5): Ashtray - Requested non smoking. Pretty much slept in an ashtray
- Patricia (6/5): - Hotel.com charged more than motel. We think we should get a $33.00 refund
- Darice (4/5): Only recommended because.... - Only recommended because it is the only decent choice in town. The pictures on expedia are not what you find when you arrive. Rooms are tired and run down. Beds are horrible, Our daughter found hair on her pillow case and in the sheets and then the first towel she grabbed had hair in it. In the bathroom there are only 3 bath towels and 1 wash cloth and one hand towel. Is a family expected to share 1 wash cloth??? Really...? The staff were nice, and were probably the best part of the stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Never Again!!! - Hotels.com did not communicate reservation to hotel. Was placed in smoking room.
Room was awful! Towel were thread worn. Have seen better in thrift stores. Both beds were hollowed out in center. Very uncomfortable sleep! Lighting in room was also lacking.
- Chuck (4/5): overnight say - Clean motel but is showing it's age. We had a toilet that wouldn't flush unless u held the handle down the entire flush, the A/C unit barely blew cool air and was possessed by noise demons and the smallest thinnest towels I've ever seen.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - everything was fine only thing I do not like is the attention in the office
- Richard (6/5): CKLEAN SAFE STAY - clean, safe, good locale .... needs more than 2 towels in bath for a couple ... good value
- Judy (4/5): Oregon bound - Average motel stay...just needed to stay over nite somewhere & get back on the road the next morning...this place met that need.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Dated and in need if Renovation - Dated and in need of renovation but still probably the best choice in town.
- Matilda (10/5): - We got there and we only had one room reserved; when I had wanted two. So hotels.com messed up and I hope my credit card was not charged for both rooms. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and had a great attitude, I definitely would go back. The wi-fi was not good though!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was clean and tidy except our bed sheets seemed to have pink lipstick stains on them.
- Kris (8/5): We will Stay here again. - The room was just like the pictures. The staff was first rate. We will stay here again.
- James (4/5): - The room was big, but there were large stains in the carpet. I also thought it was overpriced for where I was staying.
- Dan (10/5): Best value of any in the region. - Clean, renovated, comfortable. uWave, refrig., large flatscreen Tv. Two queen beds, love seat, table and chairs, small desk. What else could you want?
- Larry J (8/5): good stay - The room was clean and reasonably priced
- KayB (6/5): Good basic hotel - Hotel room was clean and office staff were super nice. However, the bathrooms were not large enough to accommodate people with mobility problems. Heaters were not easy to adjust. They put out a lot of hot air no matter how many times the thermostat was turned down . Room got hot as a furnace so I finally just cut the unit off to get comfortable. The ice maker was next to the office across the street and was inconvenient to the rooms that I had. This is a good basic hotel but I would not stay again because the bed was way too firm for me. One of our rooms had a 1" gap under the door so it's a good thing the wind wasn't blowing really hard or snowing. Walker was hard to push on the old asphalt parking lot (very uneven). Recommend this hotel if you have no mobility issues and like a very firm mattress.
- Robert (8/5): Overnight. - Overnight business trip. The room was clean. Great place to eat is about a block away.
- Jim (10/5): Clean stay - In town for a baseball tournament. The place was clean and beds were comfortable.
- Bob (4/5): Need major work. - The staff was great.
When I lifted the toilet seat, the whole thing came off in my hand. Lots of touching up on the room is needed. While I am aware that this isn't a $150 room, things should at least be in good repair.
I would NOT recommend it to others.
- Alicia (10/5): very accomodating - Hotels.com screwed up our reservation, Yerington inn staff took us in anyway, giving the host suite because they were booked up. The town is great, the service was great everywhere, the room was clean and comfortable, overall a very good experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - it was all good but the mattres or box springs was broken down
