- April (2/5): - There was a small reptile in the bathroom on Saturday morning around 0200am. I killed the reptile and took to the front desk in the morning. Nothing was done about the reptile being in our room. I had a small heart attack when seeing the reptile in the bathroom. Hotel management called yesterday and nothing being done because I booked through third party site. There should be no reptile in a Kansas hotel.

Very clean we enjoyed it. Rooms were nice and clean and after forgetting a few items they did hold it for us to go back and get them. Checkout went smoothly staff is friendly. The room situation could have been better. When I spoke with the manager they said we would have rooms together and the handicap room was going to be a king room. Each person had a designated room and they completely messed it up. Struggled with grandpa getting in and out of bed, and into the shower. Was really disappointed, we managed to make it work, but everyone was on different floors and thats not what i got told was going to happen. Reservations were made a momth in advance and after you speak with a manager and you specifically ask for a accommodation like that you would expect it to get handled, which wasn't.

My only complaint was when I was swimming with my 3 granddaughters, a towel restocked girl came in and informed me that the girls could not cannonball into the pool. They are 5,7,9 yrs old and this has never been a rule till now-at ANY pool we’ve ever swam in. She told them the only acceptable way they could enter the pool was down the stairs or grab the side of the pool (or sit on the edge) and plop (her words) into the pool. This seemed reducoulous to us, so rather than receive any more hassle, we left the pool. This really upset the girls. We had cannonball wed the day before and we saw others doing the same before and after we used the pool so I don’t understand. I understand the rule about no diving (which was posted) but not this seemingly made up rule. I’d like an explanation please.

- Deborah (10/5): I would definitely stay here again - The room was very clean, and the hotel was in a good location. I also loved the fresh coffee and breakfast in the morning. We were looking forward to using the pool and hot tub. The pool was too cloudy to get into and the hot tub had to be skimmed several times to get the hair and dirt picked out of it.

The elevator smelled like someone was smoking in it and my wife and i are sensitive to smells so we had a headache soon after. There was a banging sound at 3 am. The neighbors had the TV on loud till after midnight.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is great. Lots of restaurants and food nearby. There is a Walmart and Hutch Vintage Market is only a few minutes away.

- Schwindt (9/5): Overall, I had a nice place to stay and had a good saturday that followed a hectic week. - I'm not world traveler but compared to the other brand motel/hotels I have stayed in had a larger choice for breakfasts. Like meat and potatoes along with the eggs and waffles. But it was fine. The place was quiet and easy to get from. Had adequate parking for large vehicles with trailers and close to where I needed to be all day saturday. My shower wasn't clean, there were a lot of foreign hairs on the shower floor but when I turned on the water and let it run awhile, they washed down the drain.

The staff was so friendly, and breakfast was yummy and warm! Our room would not cool down, we had it turned all the way down after it was 77 degrees in there, tried to get ahold of someone but was unable, it got down to about 70 which we were grateful for but made a little irritable night! We also had an ant issue ? Many times we had to kill lots of ants on the desk, we were on the fourth floor and weren’t sure why they were there!

Jessica shared a personal restaurant recommendation that satisfied. We also found the room layout to be the best ever for our use. We also loved the walk-in shower. We wish every booking we made provided one.
