- Natascha (8/5): - Alles Niks
- Stephane (6/5): - Personnel tres accueillant Bruyant, chambres mal insonorisées
- Adrian (8/5): -
Daarna ging een collega - off all places- recht achter mijn rug (< 1meter) neuriend servetten te gaan vouwen, duidelijk provocerend. Onbegrijpelijk.

- Jan (8/5): prima - Het begon met prima parkeer gelegenheid. Zeer aardig en voorkomende baliemedewerkster . Rustig vriendelijk voorkomend .

- SzsteveC (8/5): Nice for a short stay, not as bad as many describe - I think some of the reviews being given are a little harsh.
The welcome on arrival was second to none, extremely friendly and the offered cup of coffee was very welcome. Very friendly staff! 10/10
Getting to the room was a little strange, having to walk through the bowling alley area, and then through some strange open area with an old London bus converted into a bar!! And the lift, one for the disabled, where you have to hold the button for it to move was strange.... and VERY slow! Take the stairs!
Room was dated to be sure but it was clean and functional, bed (twin singles) was comfortable although for me a little on the small side. There was a TV but cannot comment on it as did not even turn it on. The room itself was like a sauna it was so hot! Had to turn off the two large radiators and open the door onto the balcony to cool it down to a much better level! The balcony was in need of a clean! Plenty of sockets available for plugging laptops and chargers etc into. At night, even with all the lights on it was still a little dark and dingy, could do with a bit brighter lighting, none of which were switchable from the bed! There was one switch by the entrance which if was in the off position nothing electrical in the room would work.
Bathroom was configured strangely. Sitting on the toilet was an art form as it was so close to the shower wall! Shower was nice and hot!
Biggest drawback is that there was no tea/coffee facilities, or bottles of water, in the room. Can buy at the bar but 6 Euro for a smallish bottle of water I thought was a little excessive.
Noise dampening is poor. There was clearly a family in the room above me that had a very young baby and it disturbed me a couple of times screaming for attention. More than one night I would have had to be moved if they were still there too!
Food in the restaurant was ok. I had the carpaccio starter which was very nice. Main was the schnitzel which I thought was "average" at best, although the poached pears that came with it were superb! Didn't bother with dessert. The menu was in my opinion, very restricted.
Breakfast was typical continental fare, adequate enough, although the scrambled eggs left a lot to be desired.
Generally speaking the stay was ok, no major concerns, so I rated it as good. Only stayed one night though, don't think I would have liked to stay too much longer.
- Torres (10/5): -
- zebrax2016 (6/5): Find a Better Hotel if you can.. - Visited this hotel on a business trip. It’s a rustic property with very basic amenities, far from the comfort you’d expect in a decent hotel. My room was cold with no heater provided, and there were no amenities such as a coffee machine. The bed was cramped against the table and at one point I almost hurt my knee trying to move around. I asked the manager for a heater but received no response.
Breakfast was very basic, nothing to get excited about. I noticed fewer than ten people in the dining area, which makes me think the hotel isn’t a popular choice among travelers. The only real positive is the attached bowling alley, which seems to draw locals rather than guests.
A friend staying with me had a leaking roof in their room. Due to the overall discomfort, I had to cut my stay short to just one night, even though the booking was non-refundable.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for business or leisure stays. Find a better option if you can.
- Nico (10/5): - Kamer was heel goed, ontbijt was ook goed. Ik zou wat aan de gordijnen doen. Die sluiten niet helemaal.
- yves (1/5): - vuil, stank en slecht ontbijt
- Luc (6/5): -

- Michael (9/5): -
- Alex (10/5): - Bowling alley fantastic. Rooms clean. Beer cold.
- Mariia (9/5): -
- Stefan (4/5): - Skurril, wer es mag. Gruseliges Ambiente. Krankenbetten und Nachtschränke ebenfalls aus dem Krankenhaus.
- Natasja (7/5): Leuk Personeel, 4 kamers gehuurd dicht bij elkaar. Veel mogelijk. Honden zijn zeer welkom. - Badkamer was prima. Ontbijt was variatie genoeg, alleen eitje was koud. Personeel was zeer aardig.
- Natasja (6/5): Personeel was zeer aardig.
- Aleksandar (8/5): Very good -
- Kashif (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Location was ok close to centre Hygiene was awful couldn’t sleep in the bed because of the smell and it was making me itchy (suspect bed bugs)
Multiple fights outside the hotel even the bar women described the hotel as the ‘Ghetto’
- Andrea (6/5): - Apart gebouw dat wel.
Soort zalencentrum met een flatgebouw als hotel.
Maar wel erg gedateerd.
Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding niet in verhouding.
Personeel wel aardig.
Maar ik boek hier niet snel weer.
- johannesmS990XH (2/5): Rather terrible experience - Room is outdated and entering the room you first come into the bathroom, then you step into the bedroom with a toilet room, there is no aircondition, only a radiator for heating. This was may second stay, first stay was inndeintertime, the room was freezing cold and I switched the radiator on just to find all the warm air go up behind the curtains, and disapear to the cold window. Second wisit was beginning june, the room was roasting hot radiator on full.
The room had not been cleaned properly, underwear and socks hanging innthe closed from previous guest, and leftover towel was on the bathroom shelf/entraance. The stay was over a weekend and the was interupted by heavy misic oitside the room innthe open space, witha cheering crowd, this offered no comfort. The resturand serves a low quality of food, the curry soupe was from a “cup of soupe” brand all had not been disolved and a sludge substance was innthe bottom from the powder. Main course was abit better, butter chiclen on a spear, looked to be boiled and ajust some canned butter saused added for taste. Breakfast was just a cold serve with no fresh food apart from the milk in a jar, and some fruit, rest was wacuum packed.
Do not reccomend this hotel, and this was my last stay here ever!
- Robert (6/5): - Bowling Alley and tropical plants outside the rooms. Very helpful staff.
- Milosavljevic (3/5): Poor -
- Alf (4/5): - Hotellet var meget slidt
Håndklæder var flosset og tynd slidte
Dyrt sted i forhold til standen
Godt det kun var en nat
- Aleksandar (1/5): Bad -
- Simon (5/5): Passable - Friendly staff Breakfast choices were very limited and poor value.
- Milosavljevic (5/5): Passable -
- Denis (7/5): Good -
- Greig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Rhys (5/5): Passable -
- Jolanda (1/5): Bad -
- Gary (8/5): Very good - greeted well friendly even free welcome beer so bonus. bed blankets far too small was finding cold most of night
- Maria van Sprang (10/5): - I like it in general
The personal at the front desk was very friendly and kind
The breakfast was good ad the coffee too
I really like the settings and the history of that place
I'll come back soon
- Travelbenny (5/5): Passable -
- Romans (2/5): Very poor - breakfast was very limited, in another words nothing to eat. Not so good cleaning in rooms, some hairs remained in shower room and in bad.
- Tim (7/5): Good -
- The_Bored_Traveler (6/5): Nice for a night - I staid in this hotel for a night, for my my work.
The receptionist was really friendly, and the check in went great, the room was nice, with a nice view on the concert part/ inner garden part.
The food was good, only a slight mix up with how they served it.
The checkout went also good.
- Aşkin (1/5): Awful - Nothing Everything
- Steve (6/5): Pleasant -
Oudbollig
- Michael (7/5): Comfortable and surprisingly pleasant. - Room was tired and old fashioned, but comfortable.
Bathroom was clean and shower was very good.
Food was served hot and was tasty.
Atmosphere around hotel was all very jovial and had a community feel. Being woken up by the night receptionist to ask if I was smoking weed - which was a shock because I do not smoke cigarettes and have never tried and recreational drug of any kind.
I hasten to add that I work in an industry where drug testing is regular.
He then proceeded to bang on other rooms until he found the source.
This meant that my rest was broken and I was due to checkout at 0530hrs.
- Henry (9/5): Superb - Staff were friendly and helpful and laughed at my joking. Room was larger than I expected, but that was fine. Hot and cold directions of the taps seemed to be reversed. Inconvenient when you're waiting for the shower to warm up. Toilet seat in the men's bathroom next to the desk should be replaced.
- Raul (8/5): - The hotel was really good for the price. The service was amazing, the personnel helped whenever there was an issue. For example we needed extra towels to go to the beach and got them without a problem.
Also the cleaning service did a good job. The room was tidied every day. However, the room itself was rather dark, especially the bathroom.
From the hotel you can go everywhere you need in 10 minutes or less by bike. The bike in general seems to be more practical to move around Den Helder as tourist attractions (like the ferry to Texel) are frequented a lot by cars.
- Doede (6/5): - nvt
- Muhammad (7/5): Good - I like the bowling which was i was so pleasantly surprised, and the distance from ferry station to Texel was really helpful Lack of refrigerator in the room and as well as an air conditioner was so desperate
- Yohannes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arie (10/5): Top accommodatie -
- Ramakrishnan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jeannet (4/5): - Personeel is heel vriendelijk en service gericht! Ontbijt is prima.
- Pieter (8/5): Very good -
- Denzell (2/5): - Vreselijk.
- Mariana (7/5): Good -
- Irina (8/5): Very good - Great staff, very helpful. It has a safe parking space for bikes
- Andrew (5/5): Passable -
- Alexandra (5/5): Passable - Their staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is close to the center of Den Helder and short driving distance to other popular destinations in North Holland. The hotel is very old and outdated and yet priced as other accommodations
in the area. The hotel had no outdoor space to sit or spend time. The garden is overgrown, and they had construction work going on in front of our balcony at 7am!
I don't recommend eating their breakfast, too expensive for a low quality meal.
- Oliver (5/5): Passable -
- Jennifer Konstance (10/5): Super fun family hotel - They where so welcoming and helpfull. We where so sorry for just staying 2 nights. We didnt even want to go to amsterdam, the hotel had so much fun to do and th surroundings.
- Yohannes (10/5): Exceptional - The atmosphere, and everything there. Nothing
- leosmar (6/5): - The room smells and the shower bathroom have a lot mildew.
- S (10/5): - Leuk en rustig
- Vivian (8/5): Very good -
- Konstantin (9/5): Superb -
- Niket (8/5): Very comfortable, efficient staff, good breakfast, best for leisure - Overall OK but missing hot water kettle/coffee machine/other amenities like dental kit, bath-robe, shower-cap etc. Outside the room maintenance is low (looks like dumping area for extra items)
