• Jo (10/5): Ideal transport location, clean modern hotel. - We needed somewhere to stay close to the train station as we were coming back from the alps and then getting the Eurostar but we stayed 2 nights and had a day in Paris in between. Location was perfect for just that very short easy walk from station. It’s not the nicest areas but had lots of restaurants close by. The hotel itself was clean and friendly nice communal areas with games and books the room was a little small but was comfy and had good air con and the bathrooms were spacious well equipped and very clean. My only criticism was the price of breakfast and there was no cheaper rate for children they would not eat €17 of buffet so we didn’t have it there were a few options nearby the one directly opposite the train station was perfect and a lot cheaper but a shame as sometimes you need the convenience of a hotel one.

• Philippe (10/5): - Well located property, close to transportation (Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord). Our stay was enjoyable. Keep in mind that this area, close to 2 major train stations can be a bit borderline (people loitering and selling cigarettes on the stree) although we did not feel unsafe.

• Michelle (10/5): - We only stayed one night at Hotel Hor but we were pleased by the easy check in at the lobby. The hotel is clean, equipped with elevators, and the staff is friendly. I noticed there was some noise from outside late at night but the hotel is also in a convenient area close to Gare du Nord so this wasn’t a surprise. I used my white noise app to filter the noise out. Overall, if you need to stay somewhere 30 min drive from the airport and convenient to trains this is a good place to book.
• lauren (10/5): - No coffee machine in room. Good towels, shower and water pressure. Bottled water supplied. Room seemed newly decorated. Excellent position next to Gare du Nord and very close to Gare Est. Neighborhood good for ethnic food, cafés , etc.
• Douglas (8/5): - Good location for metro and train station. Room was clean but we had a funky odour in the bathroom from the drainage system. The hotel promptly addressed it the 2nd morning and it was better for a few days but came back as bad as when we arrived for our last day/night.The front desk staff were very helpful and did comp one of our breakfasts because of the bad odour in our room. We had breakfast downstairs 3 out of 4 mornings and hot food trays were pretty empty 2 out of 3 times. 8:30-9:00 am so that was a little disappointing.

• Wei Yuan (6/5): Convenient location, but toilet and room smella - Conveniently located next to Gare du Nord where the Eurostar terminal is, right by a supermarket and neighbourhood is generally quiet. However, the superior room that we got was a little musty-smelling. The toilet is the biggest offender, with a rather off-putting sewage smell. Thankfully the bed and pillow were clean for sleeping. The WiFi is quite poor by modern standards, and improvements certainly needed there. Check-in was smooth and front desk was pleasant and helpful.

The rooms are on the small side and the area can be noisy (especially when there is a football game being watched at the bar around the corner). We had a problem with our room when we arrived but the hotel manager resolved it quickly and well.

• Alexandra (10/5): Magnifique nuit! - Bonjour! I stayed here 26-27th March for my birthday, and this hotel exceeded my expectations- they upgraded me to a deluxe room with a balcony, and upgraded me to a free breakfast the following morning- the staff were so friendly and had great rapport, more than welcome to help with any questions or requests, even let me store my suitcase there in the morning as my Eurostar back to London wasn't until the evening, at no extra cost. The room facilities were perfect, amazing shower, great TV, very comfortable bed, plenty of options for hot drinks in your room, I would 100% stay here again, yes the main road gets a bit noisy with vehicles beeping their horn or emergency vehicle sirens, but living in London, I am more than used to that especially when you're staying in a more central area of the city, and honestly, staying in a hotel on a main road, right next to two major train stations... if you're expecting complete silence, you'll not get it, but through the next it is significantly quiet. I can't rave enough about this hotel, I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris, thank you so much to the staff who dealt with me, and thank you for making my birthday one I will never forget! Merci beaucoup pour un magnifique nuit!

• Phillippa (10/5): - This hotel is very convenient for those travelling through Gare de Nord and Gare d'Est as it is situated between the two. It is easy to find on leaving the stations and the facade is clean and well maintained in a busy area of Paris. It makes a good base to explore the rest of Paris from as well. I stayed one night at this lovely hotel and wish it had been longer. It is clean, comfortable and felt very safe as a lone woman traveller. The staff member encountered at reception was very friendly and helpful with a ready smile. I had booked a classic room which was situated above the inner courtyard, This was fairly quiet with the bonus of being able to overhear the music that evening from the bar area. This didn't go on late so was not a problem to me and was enjoyable. The room itself was large and contained a kettle with a choice of hot drinks to make, chocolates and in the bathroom a selection of toiletries. Plenty of towels were provided and the shower was efficient with lovely hot water. I didn't opt for the breakfast offered but could see there was a pleasant seating area for this with a good selection of food items. Free coffee was provided in that area throughout the day if required. I was impressed with this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again if visiting Paris.

• Linda (8/5): - This property is ideally located within a couple of minutes walk of Gare du Nord station. The area isn’t the best but is perfect if you plan to use the trains each day, which we did. The room is modern and is perfect for getting a good nights sleep. The bathroom has a few essential toiletries and the shower is very nice. Water was given for free on the first day but we were told we had to pay after that which did seem a bit conflicting as we heard other guests being given it for free each day. We had a problem with the safe in our room but it was rectified very quickly. We had the breakfast on the last day which was nice although a little bit on the expensive side for what it was. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its perfect location and lovely, clean rooms.

Room was quite small, but to be expected for the price and location. Staff were very friendly. Room had a small fridge which was handy. Would happily stay here again!

The rooms were lovely and location is super convenient for Gare du Nord and other stations. The only minor issue was noise levels, both the street outside and in the corridors, but this is at least somewhat to be expected in a busy area. Perfect for a one night stay before train travel.

I never received a booking confirmation and the stay didn't show in my app as a past or upcoming stay. Very disappointing as a long time gold customer, I was then charged and despite contacting hotels.com more than once they are unwilling to assist.
• Kate (10/5): - The hotel is very near the eurostar terminal , so convenient for getting to and from eurostar with luggage. The hotel staff very helpful. The furnishings are modern and good quality. Lovely garden room near reception to sit and drink coffee for free. The bedroom, with a small fridge , walk in shower were stylishly furnished. The only downside for me is hard pillows. A choice of hard or soft pillows would be a good option. Would recommend to friends for future stays. Added bonus , the wonderful Terminus fish restaurant is nearby.

Service was great and the employees were very friendly. Probably would stay here again if we only had one night in Paris.

Gare Du Nord was literally less than a 2 minute walk from the train station and very doable with 4 suitcases. Check-in was very easy and the staff were super accommodating and let us check in a couple of hours early. Our train left a little after check out and they held our bags for 2 hours until we actually departed allowing us to walk and have lunch one more time in Paris. Yaya was so kind! We had our own bottle of wine he gave us wine glasses most hotels wouldn’t do that. Everything from staff, checkin, location to food, and transportation made this hotel a 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

• Annalyn (10/5): - We love this hotel. It is close to everything. There is a Boulangerie with yummy pastries across the hotel. Pharmacy and souvernirs shop is also across the hotel and mini market right next to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choices. And front desk people like Rogue was so accommodating and very helpful. When my son got sick we asked him if he can heat up the soup for us and he was so helpful and even included utensils and napkins. He was so nice. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we come back next year.

• Kurt (8/5): Good for being close to the station - The hotel itself is very good and the staff is super friendly. The rooms are small but comfortable for two people. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because its location. However, this might be a plus for some. It is very close to Gard du Nord which would make it very convenient if you are using the station. However, the neighborhood is not the best. The first couple of nights we felt a bit uncomfortable and a bit unsafe but then you get used to it and start getting used to it. The staff was fantastic and I would definitely recommend the breakfast. The rooms are quiet and the bed is comfortable. Would stay again if we needed to be close to the station for sure.

Breakfast was excellent with two price options. Excellent location for the Eurostar and Metro underground to easily get around Paris. Only disappointment was limited English TV channels and unable to get the Rugby games during the Rugby World Cup.

• NISHA (4/5): - I did not like my stay at this property. Very noisy and unsafe. The room was very smelly and the hotel looked very shady/ sketchy. Will not recommend even if it was free.

• Katie (10/5): - Absolutely amazing hotel 30 seconds from gar du nord. Super spacious rooms that have been updated thoughtfully. Highly recommend rooms on 6th floor with balconies. The staff are fantastic. So professional and welcoming. The area is a little dicey at night but convenience of metro at your door is great. A highly recommend

• Adam (8/5): - The property itself was well maintained. We booked it because of its close walking proximity to Paris central train station but that meant we ended up in a noisy and pretty dirty part of Paris. Getting to most of the main sights and attractions requires you to either walk several miles, use the metro or get an Uber. I have no complaints about the hotel itself more just the area it’s in. For a quick one or two night stay before getting on a train it’s a good place though.
• FARZAD (4/5): - Close to Gare de nord station but the neighbourhood is total disappointment. Cannot believe Paris city has so much crapy neighbourhood. Is this really paris or another capital city?
• Sarina (6/5): - Booked this for one night only because it was near the train station. The hotel looks nice from the outside but the inside feels dated. The staff however is pleasant. The room itself was ok. The booking said we’d get a queen bed, it was a double. The washroom was decent, the shower portable head had no pressure. The drain cap was broken. The lock for the door jammed. It took a good 10 mins to get it open again. We tried to call reception but the phone in the room didn’t work. The room was definitely overpriced for what it was. I wouldn’t stay here again.

• Nariko (10/5): - 2 min from Gare de Nord. Very convenient access toeverywhere in Paris. Front staff were very nice. Very quiet inside the hotel quiet air-conditioner Nice firm bed. Slept very well. Spacious compared with other hotels in the central Paris. I liked the pull out table by the bed.

• Maged (10/5): - The room is great ,clean and have coffee and fridge. They always add 2 water bottles for free. Hangers are available but no sheaves.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous stay - Excellent stay at a fabulous, modern hotel. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Toiletries included were Nuxe. No complaints at all.
