The one acre grounds are fully open to guests to explore and relax and under current covid restrictions we chose to have our breakfast under a covered outside area (could have eaten in room if preferred) the breakfast was delicious with a good choice of fruits, cereals and full English cooked breakfast available, Kevin sources his bacon and sausages locally and they are delicious. The property sits at one end of Fownhope, which is a very pretty village and worth a wander, there are 2 pubs, we ate in The New Inn, and were made very welcome. - Verified traveler (10/5): Superb - Quite the best B&B we've stayed at in a longish lifetime of travelling in terms of service, friendliness, proactivity, location, willingness to help, breakfast food and general all round care for the customer - especially in the difficult circumstances of Covid-19. Rooms clean, bright and much more than adequately equipped. Slept well so the beds must be good. Were kept warm by the very generously offered fire pit as we ate our bought-in supper in the garden. Breakfasts were outstanding, and outside - including home grown raspberries, apple juice pressed from fruit from the trees in view, local sausages from local pigs - and vegetarian options. Village location. You cannot beat it.
- CHRISTINE (10/5): Excellent B&B - This B&B is excellent. Clean, comfortable, very well situated and includes a hearty breakfast. The owners also take the covid19 situation seriously making our stay the best it could be.
- Joanna (10/5): - Delightful property in beautiful location. Separate chalets available with breakfast delivered in Covid times made it easier and less stressful as a guest. The owners were very friendly and helpful and worked hard to make if work well for guests in current climate. It was a super relaxing and enjoyable stay. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful area of England.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable stay, home away from home. Quiet and private rooms in an annex with separate entrance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): General review - The room was lovely and comfortable. Overall cleanliness was good although there were a number of cobwebs which looked like they had been there a while. I liked the touch of cake in the room on arrival. Eating options in the village were limited but there are a lot of different activities available in the wider area.
- Cynthia (8/5): A Gem - Lovely accommodation very clean and well equipped and so quiet. Would stay there again if down that way😊👍
