• Jaroslav (10/5): Klidný hotýlek s bazénem u Pacifiku - Klidná lokalita ( + byli jsme mimo sezónu a tak jsme byli tři noci v hotelu sami) , pestrá zahrada , bazén, vstřícný personál, velmi užitečné rady a doporučení pro návštěvu Manuel Antonio N.P. od sympatického majitele hotelu, fajn a barevná snídaně . Hodně živo v okolí… viděli jsme Ary Aracainy a lenochoda na stromě na pozemku, leguány, opici, motýli , cervenonohé krabi, papoušky a jiné ptáky a několikero dravců na větvích , opakovaně kroužit fregaty a supi .

• Gunter (10/5): Wonderful relaxing stay - Beso del Viento is in a lovely location close to the beach. The owner, Bernard, was welcoming and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was lovely with an array of fruit, eggs, bread and coffee and served on the porch. Alongside the swimming, we enjoyed watching the many varieties of birds, as well as monkeys and a sloth, which Bernard very kindly pointed out to us. The location was perfect for us just to recharge our batteries before setting off to la fortuna. Thank you Bernard for a lovely stay!🙂 Nothing

• yeray (10/5): - Queríamos una última noche en Costa Rica tranquila cerca de la playa y en medio de la naturaleza y Beso del Viento cumplió plenamente nuestras expectativas, la playa increible! 12km para ti solo prácticamente y un atardecer espectacular. En cuanto al hotel no podríamos haber estado mejor, el dueño muy atento a todo, incluso nos dejo lavar nuestro coche de alquiler allí, que fue un detalle, el desayuno muy bueno y las habitaciones limpias y acogedoras, sin duda recomendaría este hotel.
• Stephan (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! - Die Lage zum Pazifik! Und das Hotel ist ein Traum. Supernetter Empfang, ein tolles Zimmer, mit sehr großem und bequemen Bett. Liebevolle Einrichtung, ein toller großer Garten und das Frühstück rundeten unseren Aufenthalt ab. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. -
• Klaus (8/5): Schöne und ruhige Anlage gegenüber des Meeres - Schöne Anlage und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer Nr. 17. Der Strand befindet sich auf der anderen Seite der Schotterstrasse. Leider kann wegen Strömungen nur bis zur Hüfte ins Wasser gegangen werden. Leider stank es im Zimmer 17 zeitweise nach Kanal. Der Pool hat ca. 33 Grad.
• Claus (9/5): Eine klare Empfehlung, sehr ruhig und etwas abseits gelegen. - Die Zimmer sind individuell, sehr liebevoll und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Uns wurden drei Zimmer gezeigt. Wir konnten auswählen. Der obere Bereich in dem die Zimmer liegen, ist Barfußbereich, aber das ist sehr schön. Der Frühstücksplatz auf der Veranda und unter den großen Palmen ist sehr idyllisch. Das 1 km entfernte Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Es gelten klare Hausregeln, auf deren Einhaltung geachtet wird. Das Frühstücksangebot ist überschaubar, kein Buffet, aber in Ordnung.
• Paul (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft - Es war rundum toll in der Unterkunft, leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben, weil wir weiter mussten, aber auch für mehrere Nächte wäre es hier sehr schön gewesen. Ruhig, super nah am Strand, tolle Gastgeber und alles sauber und ordentlich.

• RONALD (7/5): Pleasant but with some reserve. - Nice beach across the road but a little bit of a walk through rough scrub. Breakfast was pleasant as were the staff. Nice pool and grounds and the building was nicely set up with outdoor tables. A good restaurant down the road where we went for dinner. Peculiar requirement to take of shoes at the entrance meaning you had to walk barefoot upstairs to your room. Room was very small. There were ants in the bathroom toilet in the middle of the night - a lot of them! I'm sure this is an unusual occurrence as the toilet hadn't been flushed to conserve water 'if it's yellow let it mellow' but the ants sure liked it and it was a very freaky experience. I told the management in the morning and they said they would take care of it right away.

Our room was this time smaller by our choice but just as well appointed as on our last stay The location is excellent and very quiet. Our hosts were as before kind an attentive. Toujours aussi agréable de séjourner chez Bernard et Elisabeth, qui sont attentionnés et disponibles pour répondre aux questions et donner des conseils. Cadre et piscine très agréables, chambres joliment décorées. Très bon petit déjeuner. Si nous devions revisiter le Costa Rica, il est certain que nous reviendrions une 3ème fois à Beso del Viento.

• Julio Palma (10/5): Relax getaway - Marvelous hidden jewel. This B&B provided exactly what we were looking for, a quiet, surrounded by nature , place of calm. No TVs in the room, which is a good thing for me, for a technology detox. Will certainly come back. Beds are comfortable, place is super quiet, pool is relaxing. Nothing to mention, hotel provided everything that was promised here in Booking.

• Bernard (9/5): Lovely, Peaceful and very well located B&B - We spent two lovely days in Elizabeth and Bernard’s cosy and peaceful home while traveling from the Nicoya Peninsula to Corcovado. We especially appreciated the kindness of the owners and the close proximity to the long, deserted Palo Seco beach especially during sunset. We also highly recommend the Mar y Sol restaurant and bar, located about 800 meters from the B&B.

Ein einsamer Strand direkt vor der Tür! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Es war unglaublich! Mit den schönsten Sonnenuntergängen!
• Hartmut (10/5): Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig - Das B&B liegt am traumhaft einsamen Playa Isla Seco und bietet Entspannung pur. Das Hotel ist samt Gartenanlage super gepflegt, sehr sauber, hat einen großen Pool und wird von einem sehr netten französischen Paar geführt - für uns der ideale Ort, um zu relaxen. Ein Restaurant in ca. 1 km Entfernung bietet gutes Essen zu annehmbaren Preisen. Der Strand vor dem Hotel ist fast menschenleer, lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein und bietet einmalige Sonnenuntergänge. Wir waren fünf Nächte hier und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier absolut richtig. Wenn man irgendetwas kritisieren wollte, könnte man sich ein abwechselungsreicheres Frühstück wünschen. Das ist aber meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau.
• orit (8/5): מקום ליד הים - ממוקם קרוב מאד לים, וזה יתרון בהחלט. החדר נעים, מעוצב בטוב טעם. יש בריכה קטנה נחמדה בחצר. יצאנו לאכול בערב במסעדה נהדרת במרחק 10 דקות הליכה. מאחר ומדובר במקום מאד מבודד ושמיועד לנופש לאנשים מבוגרים היינו שמחים אם היו דברים קצת יותר מפנקים בחדר- לא היה בחדר מתקן לקפה, אין מקרר. אין אפשרות לקנות שתיה קרה במקום וקפה יש פילטר או נמס (אפשר לשים מקרר בקבלה עם שתיה קרה בתשלום וזה היה מאד עוזר) היינו מעדיפים שהוילונות בחלונות יהיו כהים ולא לבנים. אין כ"כ תחושה של פרטיות. שהינו בחדר למעלה ובכל פעם שהזוג לידנו עלה במדרגות הם עברו ממש ליד החלון שלנו. בחדר שלנו לשרותים לא היתה דלת (חלל פתוח)- אנחנו פחות התחברנו לזה.

• Ellen (9/5): Parrita paradise - For us it was a great location to visit manuel antonio park. The owners are lovely & our room very nice. Also a great restaurant nearby sal mar? We saw a few macaws, beach right across street & very private. The owners made us a great breakfast The room we chose double & twin didnt have AC, but had fans. So if you need ac take that room option into consideration. Its a bed & breakfast which is more quaint which i love. We met another couple so we were able to compare places we traveled to in costa Rica & share animal stories!

But it was comfortable and enjoyabl - The French couple that owned the hotel have put a tremendous effort into the grounds and upkeep/remodeling of the hotel building. Both were beautiful. We enjoyed French hospitality at its best. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully arranged. The beach was easily accessible and was almost a private beach front.

• Julia Eva (10/5): Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in einem idyllischen, tierreichen Rückzugsort mit äußerst freundlichen Gastgebern und ein - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Beso del Viento sehr geliebt! Es war unsere erste Unterkunft in Costa Rica – der perfekte Ort, um viele erste Eindrücke zu sammeln. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die ruhige, private Lage und die beeindruckende Tierwelt, die uns gleich bei der Ankunft begrüßte: Mehrfach flogen Aras direkt über unsere Köpfe hinweg, einige setzten sich sogar auf einen Baum direkt neben dem Hotel, sodass wir sie aus nächster Nähe beobachten konnten. Auch Kolibris, ein ansässiger Leguan und ein Hund, der täglich vorbeikam und liebevoll versorgt wurde, gehörten zu unseren tierischen Begegnungen. Die Besitzer waren unglaublich freundlich, und wir haben die netten Gespräche mit ihnen sehr genossen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker, der Pool ideal zum Schwimmen und Entspannen. Unser Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Garten ist mit einer Vielzahl faszinierender Dschungelpflanzen geschmückt ist. Von den Gastgebern bekamen wir tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen sowie eine Karte mit Parkplätzen für den Nationalpark Manuel Antonio – super hilfreich! Der nahegelegene Strand war ein echtes Highlight: naturbelassen, weitläufig (Man könnte endlos am Strand spazieren, so weit sich der Blick erstreckt), wunderschön – einer der schönsten, die wir in ganz Costa Rica gesehen haben. Auch das Restaurant in der Nähe war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben es geliebt, die Umgebung zu erkunden, und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine Unterkunft, die wir wärmstens empfehlen können!

Il est serviable et de bons conseils pour les sorties aux alentours et les restaurants. Le logement était confortable et très propre. Les service de chambre était impeccable. Petit déjeuner excellent, avec une belle assiette de fruit frais. La piscine est vraiment agréable pour une fin de journée. Et vous aurez peut-être le plaisir de voir des iguanes, des capucins et des Aras macaos passer par là... 🤩 Je conseille vivement ce gîte si vous êtes sur Parrita 👌 Une caresse à Max 🐶 Rien à redire... We had A/C, but not all rooms do, so watch out to book one of those.
• David (10/5): An ideal place to stay, relax and unwind in tasteful surroundings - # Pleasant Stay at a Charming, Quiet Hotel We had a wonderful 9-day stay at this pleasant, quiet hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property is a bed and breakfast, so while there's no on-site restaurant for evening meals, there's a nice restaurant just 800 meters away that's very easy to reach. Our room on the first floor was absolutely clean, well-equipped, and featured a comfortable bed with plentiful hot water in the shower. From all our windows, we were surrounded by beautiful trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. What really stands out is how the entire hotel is individually furnished with exceptional taste. The staff was always available and very helpful whenever we needed anything. The breakfast was excellent - I highly recommend trying the scrambled eggs! This is an ideal place if you're looking for peaceful, tasteful surroundings to relax and unwind. However, if you're seeking a livelier atmosphere with nightlife, this quiet retreat may not be what you're looking for. Overall rating: 5/5 - Highly recommended for a tranquil getaway!
• Compass59860217184 (10/5): A place with style and comfort - Four of us stayed two nights at Beso del Viento. This is a place with style and comfort. Elizabeth and Bernard are lovely hosts. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The pool is perfect to cool down after a days outing, ziplining or surf fishing. We were sad Bernard has stopped cooking but there is a funky beach restaurant down the beach. Pablo the owner is a very interesting guy. Bernard's scrambled eggs for breakfast are special. I recommend the Beso del Viento. Stay in the second floor rooms they are very inviting.

Very good restaurant Mar y Sol close by with reasonable prices 6 mil for fresh red snapper filet and 3 sides of rice, salad and grilled veggies. Owner Elizabeth was very accommodating and served a refreshing full breakfast included in the room rate.

• Paul (7/5): Wonderful hospitality at a B&B near the ocean. - Exceptional personalized hospitality from owners. Location within short easy walk to ocean and beach. Easy, secure parking. Very well maintained grounds. Room was clean and presentable. Clean and attractive pool. Quiet room with nice large king size bed. Breakfast presentation was excellent. Eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, toasted bread, and jam were all delicious. Enjoying breakfast on the front porch, served by the owners, was a wonderful experience. There is an excellent casual restaurant (Bar y Restaurante MAR Y SOL) with good WIFI a short drive down the road. There is very little to do in Parrita or within short driving distance other than walking the beach. The ocean is easily accessible, but currents are strong, making swimming in the ocean not practical. WIFI is absolutely terrible. We had difficulty sending even simple text messages. Bathroom and shower facilities are very basic. The toilet and sink are in different parts of the room, so you have to wander across the room to wash your hands after using the toilet. Shower and sink had only on/off setting, with no temperature control. Hot water for a shower would have been nice. Breakfast could have been more filling, possibly with more options.

The beautiful, quiet beach is just a step away and the garden is worth a stroll (with many lizardlike animals ). Definitely worth a visit!

• Gordon (10/5): A great place to relax and recharge, with both a beautiful pool onsite and a beach on your doorstep. - Extremely comfortable accomodation, with a beautiful pool, and lots of places to sit and relax both inside and outside the main house. Very helpful owners and staff; all were friendly and professional. Lots of wildlife can be seen in the grounds, including iguanas, birds and even monkeys. The sandy and deserted beach was a minute from the site. Breakfast was exceptional with fruit, fruit juice, cooked eggs, and unlimited freshly baked sourdough bread with tea or coffee, with refills if wanted, all servied on a comfortable, shaded patio. They also make excellent Pina Coladas! N/A

Beautiful fresh fruit plate for each guest with the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. Beautiful way to start your day. Spotless every where on this s property. Our only challenge was no A/C in our room the first night which was tough but the next night they provided an extra fan which made it comfortable. Most rooms have A/C. They no longer offer dinner but two minutes up the road is Mar Y Sol restaurant. Doesn’t look like much but wow. I am very fussy and the fresh seared tuna was the most perfectly cooked delicious tuna I had ever had with wonderful mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked veggies. Second dinner was their burger and I have to say again, delicious. Wonderful two days in this area. Beach right across the street for sunset!!!

Our room was very comfortable, with fine attention payed to tasteful room accents. As an „adults only“ facility, peace and quiet were never a problem. The ocean is 100m away, deserted most of the time and is the scene of some fantastic sunsets. Breakfast was filling, with fresh, local fruits and wonderfully cooked eggs. All other meals we ate were at a fantastic restaurant just down the street. A great populace to relax!

• Claire (10/5): A stunning well run frontline BnB - Beautiful BnB right on the pacific coast It’s takes hard work to run a BnB to this standard. The facilities were exceptional and breakfast included the best scrambled eggs I have ever tasted. I arrived from the UK having suffered insomnia and depression for the past 3 months and slept like a baby. We left feeling nourished and restored after just a two night stay. Highlight was body surfing in the sea at sunset and floating in the warm, clean pool gazing up at the stars.

• Marcelina (9/5): Chic French sustainable stay - A quiet boutique hotel on a gorgeous beach - the nearby properties are so spaced out that it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves! The pool was a definite highlight - soo warm naturally. Felt like heaven! The French breakfast with fresh baked bread, French style eggs, perfect butter and jam and gorgeous fruit was a delight for me! Note while booking if you are getting an AC room or not. Our room was comfortable and well ventilated but I should have looked closed for that.

• Ray S (10/5): - If you are looking for a quiet, totally uncrowded beach AND pool experience, this is a terrific place. Get a room with A/C. The owners are a charming and welcoming French couple, and the breakfast, while simple, is elegant and satisfying. Far from the maddening crowds and tourism excesses of north and south of Parrita, this is almost entirely unspoiled nature. Dining choices are consequently less abundant.
