We had to move to Miami for that. But in general very nice. Even if the room was ready in the morning, we were asked to pat $25 fee for that. So we agreed to wait until normal check in time.

• David (1/5): - The picture of the suite was not accurate. We did not have a full kitchen as expected. The air conditioner wasn't adequate to cool the room because it ran the entire time. There was only one ice machine for 6 buildings and there was never any ice available. The TV was so small at its distance from the bed we couldn't even use it. We paid 10.00 a night to park and at this this time of the year it wasn't necessary. We didn't realize there was plenty of free parking on the street very close. The room was large. The bed was comfortable and the room had been renovated except for the jalousie windows did not close all the way and one was broken.

• Willam Bryant (8/5): It was a great time staying at Winterset. - The location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Variety of pools to choose from. The room was clean and good size. Furniture is sparse. No side table by the couch or lamps etc. No where to put toiletries in washroom.

The landscaping is beautiful and truly makes it feel tropical. It would have been nice to have a few essentials in the kitchen such as: dish soap, sponge, hand towel, salt and pepper, etc.

• Letitia (9/5): It’s a great location with a lot of pool options - The location is awesome! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The amount of pools was great, there were 9 of us and we had a pool to ourselves. Our room was clean and comfortable. The outside needs a little sprucing up.
• Petri (4/5): - The bed was pleasantly soft and country-style, wide enough. There were pillows to choose from, soft enough for you. The hotel is located on a quiet side street relatively close to the A1A coastal highway. The pool area was small, but green and cozy. There were two small swimming pools and one hot tub, which were not crowded. There was usually a free sun lounger. At least at that time there was no disturbing noise from anywhere. Not even from the nearby construction site, because the house is already starting to be completed. The hotel website stated that the room was cleaned daily. After the first week, we went to ask about it and soon the cleaner picked up the trash and asked what else. We got new towels. Another week passed and we went to ask about it. After that, the trash had disappeared, but the empty water bottles had not. We brought it up again and asked about changing the sheets. It worked, someone had been to change the sheets. A couple of times the cleaners came to the door to ask if we needed pillowcases and/or towels, toilet paper and brought new ones. There was no evidence of cleaning the floors during the entire four weeks. That's why we also wore beach sandals inside. It was easier to throw the trash into the trash can ourselves, because the trash can was closer than the office. The hotel website said there was Wi-Fi, which worked well during the day, but not in the evening. The reason is probably that the TVs in the rooms also used the same network, so in the evening you often had to watch a "loading" picture. In our bathroom, we had to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, which had no “slip mat” on the bottom, meaning the soapy bottom of the tub was slippery as ice. Luckily, we only fell once, and there was no major damage other than bruises. This was the first hotel toilet that didn’t even have a toilet brush. Needless to say, neither the toilet floor nor the tub was cleaned during the entire four weeks. The apartment had a large wardrobe with shelves, a safe and a 10ft clothes rail, but not a single hanger to hang clothes on! The hotel website stated that animals were not allowed, but a few apartments seemed to have them. The TV remote in our room had also been chewed by a dog (it was replaced when the TV was replaced).

Slow to get any help with luggage as they promised prior to my arrival as I had shoulder surgery and cannot carry luggage up stairs. Also many others were waiting past the check in time as rooms weren't ready. Water was discolored.

Inches of water backed up in the shower.

Po dotarciu na miejsce - Pan poinformował mnie,że sytem nawalił i nie mają tego obiektu dla mnie i Mojej Rodziny. No okej sobie pomyślałem - zdarza się. To tylko system Dani zaproponował Nam "lokum" bo inaczej nie można było nazwać tego pomieszczenia w innym ośrodku ale dalej w tym samym kompleksie 'hotelowym'' . Poszedłem i zobaczyłem - delikatnie mówiąc, jak wchodziłem byłem już załamany ale na początku się zgodziłem - mieliśmy za sobą 8 godzinną podróż także chciałem odpocząć. Ale po szybkim przeglądzie przez moją żonę, stwierdziliśmy że nie zostaniemy tam chwili dłużej. Dani zaproponował kolejny apartament - niestety też nie był zbliżony do godnych warunków noclegowych albo przynajmniej do takich jakie sobie wybraliśmy za pierwszym razem przez stronę. Co jest w tym wszystkim zastanawiające to to, że na stronach czy to Booking.com czy innych operatorów widniały oferty tych obiektów o standardzie dużo lepszym niż to co nam zaoferowano. Mam nadzieję że to nie była powszechna praktyka tego ośrodka. Na szczęście pieniądze zostały Nam zwrócone ale nikomu nie życzę takich perypetii o połnocy kiedy masz ze sobą jeszcze dzieci. Moja ocena tych apartamentów zastępczych nie może być większa niż 2/10

• April (10/5): 10 million gold stars - I absolutely love this hotel this is like my fifth time staying here. Everytime I come to Ft. Lauderdale this is the only place I will stay. Affordable and close to the beach. Short walk to Starbucks!! It's not fenced all the way around but that's not really that big of deal. The staff are above par!! You feel like you are at the Ritz!!

• Charles (8/5): Decent place - Pretty grounds. The place is a complex of several mini hotels over several blocks in the area. You can use the pool at any of the various locations. They could use some extra help at the checkin desk, but the staff was very nice. Room is definitely basic, so its a little pricey for what you get, but its just hard to find and pay a reasonable price in this area!

I enjoyed floating in the pool looking at all the coconut trees and banana trees plus tropical vines and flowers right above me. We walked everywhere and there were many $ - $$ restaurants and bars close by our hotel. We were also close to a water taxi stop (we walked to it from the hotel) to go from shopping areas and more restaurants. I plan to return with some girlfriends for another vacation and will stay at Winterset again.

• Mari-Alexis (8/5): - Stayed Fri 4/11-4/12 at Winterset in what must be their most Basic, pets permitted, first floor room (6103) The keyless entry combo keypad was great, bed was very comfortable. But… no chair or table in the room, no place to lay out wet swimsuits or towels. The closet door and the front door get trapped when opened at the same time; the front door swings in and the closet door swings out. The bathroom door narrowly opens when you’re inside and the door handles are upside down making it awkward to open. Strangely, No full size mirror or telephone in the room. Only the Q bed 2 nightstands with convenient USB port lamps, a tall dresser in the closet with a mini fridge, mini microwave and weak teabag style coffee maker. Thankfully a nearby food truck serves REAL coffee, breakfast and lunch, limited menu and hours. we did very much enjoy the pool bar and the many pools that were available to swim on the Properties, all of the staff were very attentive, did their best to keep the properties clean and well appointed, landscaping was very beautiful, gas barbecue grills were available to use. You can bring your own cooler and food and drinks. We had a great time. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the room was so basic. had I been a little better prepared for that I would’ve been much more comfortable. suggest to the hotel to add a basic chair and table to that room. Also someplace to hang wet bathing suits and towels

• Ivan (6/5): - The room takes a long time to be given to you. We arrived at 3 p.m. and the room wasn't ready until 4:20 p.m. The bed was super uncomfortable and very hard. Otherwise, it was quite acceptable.
