• Alfonso (9/5): Muy cómodo el tamaño de habitación - El tamaño de la habitación es excelente. Además, cuenta con una amplia cocineta y refrigerador grande. El acceso a la habitación es muy cómodo, por una puerta lateral. El personal del hotel, muy amable. Tiene cortinas blackout. Buen desayuno. La ubicación es muy buena. En el baño, no hay espacio junto al lavabo para poner cosméticos y cosas personales. Las almohadas son excesivamente suaves.

The bathroom was very dirty, there was excrement in the toilet, there was hair in the shower, and when I walked in, it smelled awful. The receptionist wanted to charge me again because they "couldn't find the payment" (I used to work in housekeeping, so I know what it should look like).

• Devan (2/5): - We switched rooms twice. I have a 1yo and am 6 months pregnant. The first room was very dusty, had a broken toilet lid, broken bedside lamp/charging station, and crusty dishes. We asked to be moved and was given a warm/musty room. Immediately walked out and asked for something else. Last room had many cracks in the tub/wall from the handicap bolted seat, black mold in the AC vent, and a fridge that was set on high but felt very warm inside. Contacted Expedia for help and was given the go ahead to leave with a full refund. I left my sunglasses in the room and when we asked the front desk man he told my husband to wait while he goes to look. He came back saying we must have the glasses in our luggage. After rummaging through our entire luggage twice I went in and said I came in with them and I no longer have them. The man wrote a list of the room numbers and tossed the paper at me. I found my sunglasses on the rolling chair. I don’t recommend this place. Claimed they had one room available at a whopping $299/night but lot was empty and kept switching rooms for us. Staff was unfriendly. The manager asked how I knew the fridge was warm and I said I could go buy a thermometer if she wanted me to.

There was no note left so the next morning my wife was treated rudely our check out. Breakfast was cold and comparing to there properties of the same name, their options were pretty disappointing for what we paid. This location has gone up on their prices and yet their service is under rated.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Very disappointing for a Marriot property, I felt more like I was staying at a thirty year old budget hotel than a hotel younger than 5 years old. Maintenance was lacking or seemed nonexistence throughout the property. Front desk seemed out of place for any hotel I have ever stayed at but more like a convenience store counter. The room we received was incorrect, we reserved double beds but got a king with a sofa sleeper. Room became impossible to navigate ( 4 inches of space between beds) once we opened the sofa bed, basically you could only use one side to exit the king size bed or you had to climb over the sofa sleeper or risk hurting yourself on the sharp metal frame of the sofa sleeper. The bathroom was infested with ants in the sink on the toilet, shower, floor and walls. The toilet would not refill with water unless you giggled the handle and the shower edges had mold. One last thing was the amenities, hand soap and shampoo, I swear they must have ran out and raided a motel six.

• Von (10/5): Just like home, love staying there - It’s nice that the room is clean, large and very comfortable, the kitchen comes with cookware, and eating utensils in the room, there’s a bigger than a mini refrigerator, a real coffee pot, front desk has snacks and ice cream, plenty of parking, WiFi, a pool, and a variety of items for breakfast are included.

• Raul (10/5): GREAT STAY! - We requested a room on the 4th floor and upon check-in we were about to be given a room on the 1st floor. After I explained my concern, I was immediately given a room on the 4th floor. The breakfast was great, the room was very clean, and spacious. It was a mini suite with great amenities.

• Verified traveler (2/5): The front desk personnel did not follow thru. - I had very specific requests which the front desk personnel initially understood when he was assigning rooms, then he violated HIPPA law and shared that I was a guest there to family members also staying at the same hotel and moved me from a room he had already guaranteed me when I first arrived. I drove over 3 hours to get there and left due to the circumstances.

• B (6/5): BV - Not happy with house keeping. They never clean my room. I call and ask for help at 3:30PM because it was not done. After they cleaned they did not provide shampoo and soap. Other than that the breakfast is good and the people is nice.
• Andrew (6/5): Up keep of halls needs refreshing. - Having stayed here before,I was disappointed that I had to go downstairs late at night around 2am in the morning to get tissues and toilet paper that were not left in the room after cleaning was done. When I went down to front desk and told them what happened neither one of the individuals apologized for our inconvenience. Also, the toilet seat in our bathroom was so loose it had to be held in place when seated. Disappointing too was the condition of the hall walls and doors-there were black marks which made the halls look dirty. The floors in the elevators had black dirt marks which were there Friday afternoon when we arrived and the same marks were there when we left Sunday. Lastly, our room floor and hallways could have used a vacuum. We did however enjoy the breakfast, the size of the room and bedding, and the view.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Leaning bef of Eagle Pass - The hotel isn't bad, I booked a king suit which I've done before and had no issues. This particular time the bed frame was bent so I rolled into my wife all night and got no sleep. The hotel was completely booked so I couldn't switch rooms. The room also had no linens in closet for the pull out bed for my kids. I called desk and the girls response was "you cam come down and get some" I laughed and said she could bring them to me as we had already I dressed only to find that the pull out had no linens. I dressed and went to get linens, come back to find out she gave me linens for the king bed and night the pullout. Ne t morning g I asked to be moved to another room, I was on a ground Level room as I'm handicapped. They loved me too a 2nd floor so I had to pack mine my wife's and two kids bags back up only to find out the hotel only has two luggage trolleys and was informed niether were available most likely in guest rooms. I lugged everything up by hand. The 2nd room had a similar bent bed frame but this one was bent at a downward angel towards the head board so my feet looked like they were on a pillow. Manager was not available to make complaints either day I was there. Drunk guest in common area could here from my room hitting and haulering and the pool area was littered with empty beer cans and trash on easter.

• Beatrice (4/5): Not a pleasant stay - Have stayed at this hotel many times. Was not too happy with this stay. After unpacking (4 of us) we found out the commode would not flush. Called the office, they said maintenance guy would not be there until the morning (it was 4pm), they said they only had one other room available, but instead of going through the trouble of packing everything up we decided to just wait until the morning. We just used the restroom in the hallway. Refrigerator only worked on one setting so it froze everything we had in there. HBO was not working, they didn’t know why... was not a pleasant weekend.... will return to this hotel though...just hope next stay is a better one....

• Donald (2/5): Noise complaint!!! - The night shift employees did not respond to a drunken noise complaint in the room next door. I called the front desk twice and finally went to the front desk and demanded action or a refund. Keep in mind this started at 1245 am! Totally unacceptable.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Really upset - I had several issues during my stay that I reported and they were never fixes, my door didn't lock so I had to barricade it each night my linen had red lipstick and black mascara stains upon arrival I asked to have it changed was told housekeeping was fine, reported it Gain the next morning was assured it would be handled , I placed all the linen on the floor to make sure they changed it ...returned to my room later that evening to find the same dirty linen on the bed. And the door again sticking and not locking. I reported and was told the manager would be in at 700am and I could speak to her. Went to front desk next morning asked for the manager Elva would not get the manager, instead she said "I'll pass it along and maybe she'll give you some points" I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

• Mick (8/5): About 12 minutes from the casino - I booked this hotel in Eagle Pass for a girls trip to the Casino. We usually stay at the casino hotel but it was fully booked that night. I was pleased with this hotel and would book it again. Price was fair and room was clean. The kitchenette was great and room was large. Loved the full size table and chairs in the room. Our room was at the end of a corridor and was soo quiet. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and the coffee was hot and delicious. There were a few things that were slight issues. One is the hotel is showing some wear especially in the shower with some mold growing. Another is the front checkin guy was not very friendly. Did not greet us as we walked in, just looked at us like we were interrupting him. And last was it would be nice if the hotel had a shuttle to the casino like most of the other hotels do. But overall it was a great stay in Eagle Pass.

Same for the paper towel roll in the kitchen...it was more than half way used...
