The staff was nice and was able to get us an early check in so we could get ready for dance competition. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. The only things really were the bathroom door handle was broken. The lock button was missing a cover. There was no water in the lobby like there usually is. Also the coffee pot in room was not working.

• Chaz (7/5): We had a comfortable three day stay at the Hilton Garden in Olathe, KS. - I thought the location was excellent! It was right in the middle of everything that we needed. Very active and progressive location, close to the interstate, stores and restaurants. The staff was friendly, most of the interaction was at checking in, a little at checkout, but totally friendly staff. I thought that the exercise facility was very nice, very satisfied with the Peleton bike, which I will now purchase one having had the opportunity to preview at the hotel. The lobby was clean, bright and welcoming. I did not like that our room wasn't serviced. We had to secure towels from the front desk as we thought that our room would be cleaned having seen the cleaning staff next door when we were leaving. We were gone for most of the day, so to come back to the find that the room had not been cleaned was disappointing. Also felt that the bathroom was too small, one vanity, and toilet that would not consistently flush, which defeated the water saving process. Also toilet seat needed to be tightened, and a bit surprised that soft close seats are not standard practice. I also thought it interesting that the time the staff cleaned the room, they did not take the tip we left. Maybe that balanced out the day before when they did not clean???

Location works, rooms are comfortable, on-site restaurant was good but not very well used ( breakfast or dinner), local restaurants are chains,and the hotel breakfast is sad.

The place just was not worth the money spent. Hilton hotels are usually very reliable and nice. If you are staying in the Olathe area, be sure to check out other properties before deciding to choose The Hilton

• Simmons21 (4/5): Stay somewhere else. - First on arrival room was clean. Two water bottle that were “complimentary” in the fridge were OPENED. Air Conditioner didn’t work, the room and hallway on the third floor is humid and muggy. I contacted them ab the AC. Maintenance came up and looked at the air conditioner, it had a wire loose. Never ended up working. Spoke to the lady at the front desk and she said to turn the bathroom fan on to help circulate air. To make sure the wall thermostat and ac unit were both turned all the way down. Bathroom fan barely pulled any air it was no help. Never got cool enough to sleep comfy. Bed was hard and needs to be replaced. Paid $350 for one night due to tournaments being held. You would think they could provide the bare minimum! I’m giving two stars because the hotel appeared to be clean.

It was also nice to have the doors to the bedroom to make it really feel like you had the privacy of another room as well. Would definitely stay and recommend for future use!

There was a bad smell a few times when we came back to the room, we told the front desk and they gave us free breakfast for our stay. It was more than we usually pay and not really a step up in comfort. Chose this hotel for the hot tub and pool that my kids wanted.

• Kokalj (8/5): Very good - We enjoyed our breakfast and the beds were comfortable. My parents also stayed, retired military and seniors. They got no discounts and had to pay for the breakfast. I most likely will not be staying at a Hilton again as they do not respect the service to our nation .

• Verified traveler (6/5): It was just fine. - Very clean room but dated Bathroom was a little tight and small, but great water pressure. Just was expecting a little more given the price.

• Ralph (5/5): Fair. - Overall facilities were clean and location was good. What I didn’t like was that I left early on day of check out and the cleaning staff rushed the rest of my family out. My wife was in the shower and kids were still asleep and cleaning staff was already in the room. And it was only 9 am and check out is at 11. Not good.
• Lance (10/5): - Clean, quiet, nice amenities. Restaurant has great service and food.
• Ricardo (6/5): - The room wasn’t ready upon arrival, they made us wait 45 min to 1 hour. Ironically the next morning they knocked on the door at 10:00; asking for the room.

• Adam (10/5): Great except for one small detail… - Check in was a breeze and the room was exactly what I was expecting. The only thing I would say is the door to the bathroom opens OUT into the room. This then blocks the way in or out of the room. I would rather see it open into the bathroom or like a pocket sliding door rather than this set up, but it is only a minor thing.

• Kassidy (9/5): Wonderful for a mom's only staycation - Breakfast was great, ladies working breakfast and the front desk were very sweet and helpful. Shower water pressure and head was clogged with calcium build up. hotels at this price point should have excellent showers hardware and pressure. Mom's that don't get away much really need the spa like experience for a room of this price.
