My room was like a one-bedroom apartment, with a convenient and equipped mini-kitchen, plus a small outdoor sorcery with a picnic table, where I had my dinner. As a visitor, I couldn’t quite read the neighborhood, which seems a somewhat unusual mix of residential, commercial, and industrial. But they provide you with information on things of interest nearby, such as a night market. And there’s a mini-mart and take-out Indian restaurant just across the street. Bottom line — convenient! Nothing. It’s a ways from city center, but convenient to the airport and a good getaway location, particularly if you’re headed south of the city.

• Stephen (8/5): Nice place for a night or two. - Clean and well appointed. Helpful member of staff who met us and showed us around despite our late arrival. Bed had a very nice mattress. The toilet paper was of notably good quality. Not something I’d normally comment on! The slightly idiosyncratic decor was fun. The shower is a little tricky to get to the right temperature. It’s fine once you’ve found exactly the right point.

• Jordyn (9/5): Welcoming, friendly and a homely stay. - The receptionist was very, very lovely! The studio was very comforting and had homely touches. Fresh linen and towels, which got changed when we were out. When we walked into the room they had opened the windows for us and also their was a fresh smell of incense. Some of the dishes, utensils and cooking ware was dirty/not cleaned properly. Unfortunately got a sore back from the bed.

The place was super clean and just what we needed after a long day of travel. The pillow on my son’s bed was really not ideal. It was uncomfortable and filled with something like polystyrene beans?

Le logement etait parfait, idéal avec les enfants, tres bien équipé et bien agencé, propre. La lessive en poudre est mis à disposition gratuitement près de la machine a laver et le sèche linge. Le petit jardin est un plus. Je recommande très fortement. La place de parking gratuite est située juste devant le logement.

• Brenda (10/5): Grange Motel - Have stayed in a few motels around Papatoetoe/Mangere many times before. The Grange Motel has been the best by far. Friendly Hosts, very obliging. • Sione (5/5): It was ok - -TV had Netflix -We had a private cute outdoor area with a umbrella table and chairs -The staff were very friendly and helpful -Parking was very easy as our room had its own designated parking next to our door -Sofa was very comfortable -Got given a free cup of coffee and offered biscuits by reception on check out which was so lovely -We had got given another room then what we had booked which was bigger but quite outdated -There was too much furniture everywhere which made it a little hard to get around so we had to rearrange it to make it spacious -The bathroom was tiny and with my biggest fear the toilet right across the shower plus the shower was outdated -The sink in the bathroom was leaking when it was turned on which made a puddle next to the toilet ☹️ -The bedroom had a musky smell -Might want to do a checkup on the AC as it looks outdated -The fire alarm made beeping noises every 2mins which was annoying and uncomfortable to try and sleep with

• Paula (10/5): - My family stayed here because it was close to the airport and had 2 bedrooms. We had an emergency in the morning. My husband was ill and needed to see the doctor before our flight back to USA. Our host was very kind and took the time to help us. We made our flight on time!

I just didn't like the bath area. They need a non-slip mat in the bathroom so kids can stay for too long in the shower without me worrying.

• Katrina (9/5): Thanks for such a clean and tidy space, with lovely welcoming hosts - Lovely host. Very welcoming. Everything I needed for one night stay. Warm. comfortable bed. The online pictures looked better than the actual unit, but it was fine for a night before an early flight.

• Lucy (9/5): Great airport motel with fabulous staff - The office staff are absolutely amazing people! The night before we stayed we were spending on Waiheke Island and needed somewhere to park the car whilst we were away. They let us leave it in the motel car park for free for the 48 hours we were on the island and then it was safely there when we came to check in. Also, they gave us an upgraded room which was bigger and had more space. We had a lovely hand written note in the room and some tasty snacks for when we arrived. Great location close to the airport which was perfect for what we needed (probably not a good choice for the city centre - it’s about an hour on public transport!). Kitchenette had everything we needed and the heat pump kept us nice and warm. A little old and well-loved, but still perfect clean and lovely to stay in.

Its on a main road but was still quiet enough in the rooms. The rooms are a little dated now. Everything worked but don't expect a modern look or feel.
