• Ayush (1/5): Pathetic experience, one of the worst. They don’t deserve even 1 star - Nothing, the staff is rude and misbehaves a lot. Not just with us. We observed the staff having a very rude conversation with one South Indian family too Everything, they charged me 1,19,000 for a week long stay. I stayed only 1 night and they refused to refund for the reminder of the nights. Booking.com confirmed they had no issue in processing the refund. The greedy management still didn’t processed the refund.

• Malhotra (5/5): Am not coming back ever to stay again in this property ! - Friendly staff The biggest turn off is the long walk uphill to come from the gate to the reception. Rooms are over priced with no breakfast included where my average price for 2 days was above 26K.
• Sonia (7/5): Would stay again and request a room in the A wing if possible. - Excellent property with beautiful views and great location! Needs a little updating. Amenities need to be upgraded. The spa was not the cleanest. Be prepared to wake up very early if in the C wing due to morning Azan, which is beautiful by itself. The buffet for breakfast was quite good.

Everything looks dated, with scatches, damages etc. This property needs some renovation and better maintenance. 2. Had to change rooms as the AC wasn't working. Even the final room that I ended up in, had a weak AC. 3. I saw three rooms and none of them had a shower door. This caused the entire bathroom floor to be really wet after a shower. 4. Flooring had cracks and chips. Other surfaces were dirty and not well maintained. This is not a 4 star hotel by any means. I would rate it as a 3 star property. Not worth the price I paid for it.

Walking disctance from the Dal Lake, yet secluded to the extent that you are not hearing the noise / hustle of the constant inflow of tourists near the Dal lake. Staff & Hygiene are the other plusses of the hotel. Having a BAR may be great add on..........however understand that this may be a task in itself considering the social set up of the city.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. A very pleasant stay in general. Would stay here again, but only if the price was half of what we paid, perhaps even lesser. Breakfast was probably the worst part of the stay. Very limited and basic choices and for instance, the bakery options could have been much better. There was very little diversity, and things did not seem fresh. Even fresh tea was not available. The room was also not great value for money. It was way too small.

Next day, the group had left, then many things from breakfast spread were removed. No yogurt, no fruits, no butter and jam on the table and so on. The bathroom. The bathroom. didn't have hand towels. No foot towel. There was no body wash . Toilet paper roll was almost finished. Had to keep calling housekeeping for each thing

However, I still paid around 20,000 Rs for a night which is damn expensive for the facility provided. Only worth like max half the price Too expensive. The power outages that happens every half n hour was annoying
• Parijat (9/5): Superb - Excellent setting and location. Room was very nice and suite has a semi private balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with a good selection. On one of the days we had to leave early and they were nice enough to provide us with packed breakfast which helped us get through the day. Felt a bit overpriced and pricing was unclear as well. We were asked to pay for an extra bed in the room even though we had clearly made booking for 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were told the price assumes 4 sharing one bed and if you want an extra bed, need to pay more! Eventually they provided a mattress on the floor without charge, but I felt this was a cheap way to make more money and tarnished an otherwise excellent stay at the hotel.

From top to bottom every single staff member took a very personal and warm care of us. Their promptness and warmth made our stay in Srinagar memorable. The view from balcony was breathtaking specially during dawn. I convey special thanks to Mr Rafique for guiding us for our tour to Kashmir and taking extra care for our stay.

Asked for hair conditioner and was denied. The luxury price did not justify for the hotel. Nothing special in the hotel. We were guaranteed a sir out area but there wasn't. Not much space to walk in the room. To reach to the reception had to take stairs, which could be problem for aged parents. The electric kettle was broken in one of the rooms
