• John (9/5): One of the best hotels that we have stayed in the resort. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were very good. The hotel location is perfect. The whole ambience of the hotel is very relaxed. The fact that it was not 'all inclusive' was important to us. On the last night of our holiday, our room was flooded with water. This was handled by the staff very well, but it just took away the otherwise complete perfection of the holiday.

• Andrea (10/5): Luxury in a beautiful location. Very relaxing - Juan on reception was very helpful and swapped my room when I requested. Food was great. Everything spotless. There were not loads of rules which made the atmosphere comfortable. Beautiful sea view. Huge room and balcony. Lovely pool. Location right on beach. Stroll to Morro Jable village. Half hour walk on beach to lighthouse. It’s a big hotel but still felt peaceful. The weather was beautiful. Balcony could have done with some shade or a brolly. Had to sign in every time for wi fi. The lifts were quite slow. Fortunately I had a room on second floor so I could walk up the stairs.

• Anneliese (9/5): - Vom Zimmer aus schöne Meersicht. Zimmer gross und gut eingerichtet. Strandbar und Receptionbereich gediegen möbiliert. Sehr grosser Hotelkomplex mit vielen Gästen.
• Samuelis (5/5): Bloß nicht individuell! - Dieses Hotel ist nur darauf ausgelegt, dass sich die Gäste im Hotel aufhalten. Sobald man individueller wird, kommt das Hotel schnell an seine Grenzen. So kann man die Sauna nur bis 18 Uhr benutzen. Gerade im „Winter“ nutzen wir den Tag bis zum letzen Sonnenstrahl. Und wenn man dann vor dem Essen um 18:30 oder 19 Uhr noch mal in die Sauna möchte, ist dies nicht möglich. Wir gehen in der Regel nie vor 20 Uhr essen.

Es EXCELENTE Quizas para conseguir la perfección máxima una botella de agua mineral diaria en la habiitacion y mejorar el servicio del ascensor, pues a la hora del desayuno y cena se acumula la espera, aunque no es un problema grande. EL HOTEL ES MAGNIFICO Y EXTRAORDINARIO EL PERSONAL . HAY QUE FELICITARLES A TODOS.

• Martina (7/5): Anlage sehr schön, aber nicht perfekt - Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, sehr freundliche Begrüßung, Rezeption perfekt bei Fragen und Mängel im Zimmer werden sofort behoben. Frühstück und Abendessen abwechlungsreich und für jeden was dabei. Getränkeservice egal ob am Pool oder abends in der Bar mit sehr viel Wartezeit verbunden. Bei Nachfrage ist das Personal sehr gestresst. Bei schlechterem Wetter ist mit Wartezeiten zu rechnen um innen einen Platz im Speisesaal zu bekommen - und das Personal ist auch wieder gestresst und dadurch ist es sehr laut im Speisesaal. Die Tische im Speisesaal sind so eng gestellt, das manchmal Tischnachbarn aufstehen müssen, damit man zum Büffet kann. Das Reinigungspersonal in den Gängen unterhält sich sehr laut und mann wird wach davon. Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten auf den Terrassen sollten vorher angekündigt werden, damit man nicht erschrickt wenn man in der früh aufwacht und und die Terrasse halb nackt betritt und den ganzen Tag von den Arbeiten beeinträchtigt ist. Man bucht Meerblick nicht um auf Arbeiter zu schauen.

The location was super being right opposite beach. There was nowhere to refill your own water bottle. You had to buy bottled water.

• Kathryn (9/5): Fabulous resort - Fabulous hotel with large rooms, spacious balconies and very comfortable beds. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. The public sandy beach right next to the hotel is stunning and we very much enjoyed swimming in the clearwater and going for long walks along the sand. Often waiting quite a while for the lift to take you either to your room or down to the poolside/restaurant.

• Andreina (10/5): Riu Calypso siamo tornati. - Dopo 2 anni giusti siamo tornati nuovamente al Riu Calypso e ci siamo trovati nuovamente benissimo con una bella camera al 7 piano esposta al sole tutto il giorno. La piscina è riscaldata e situata in una zona molto riparata con sdraie e ombrelloni. Molto comoda l'uscita per raggiungere la spiaggia sottostante o fare una passeggiata per vedere il tramonto sul mare. Molto buono il cibo con varietà di pesce cucinato molto bene. Ampia scelta di frullati e yogurt per colazione. Attività sportiva con Oya molto preparata e simpatica. Unica pecca mancanza di canali TV italiani in compenso una ventina di canali tedeschi per la clientela presente in maggioranza. Altra pecca la mancanza di bidè pur in un bagno molto ampio e moderno. Ci torneremo ancora.
• Francisco (6/5): Horarios no adaptados a hábitos españoles - Tenemos que decir que las instalaciones y el estado del hotel en general son muy buenos y el servicio excelente. Sin embargo, los horarios de comedor (fuimos en régimen de media pensión), sobre todo el de la cena eran demasiado tempranos, quizás adaptados a hábitos europeos, pero no a los de España. En estos momentos en los que el turismo nacional está apoyando a nuestra hostelería se deberían de tener más en cuenta sus preferencias. A partir de ahora siempre vamos a preguntar por los horarios de comidas. De haberlo sabido, no hubiésemos ido con media pensión o hubiésemos barajado otra opción de alojamiento.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel con excelente ubicación para alemanes - Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación, al lado de la playa y el personal amable y atento a tus necesidades. El aspecto negativo: no me gustó sentirme extranjera en mi país, el hotel está enfocado al turismo alemán. La comida normal, nada destacable.
• Juan (10/5): Playa + Calypso= vacaciones + descanso - Las mejores vacaciones de playa en el mejor hotel. Gracias a las personas trabajadoras por hacernos sentir como en casa.
• Thomas (6/5): Rather Disappointing - Only one person available to handle check-in and they were tied-up quite awhile with another couple asking for special arrangements to accommodate friends arriving the next day. Despite low occupancy rate, room was right off the lobby area and ground floor. Was advertised as having a balcony - implies at least one floor up. We were told nothing else was available even if we wanted to pay more. No coffee maker or water boiler in the room. Again, advertised with but we were told through "corona measures" the hotel decided to eliminate them from the rooms. I would have at least expected other arrangements such as coffee in the lobby but nothing was done to resolve the situation. Check-out was again a very long process - just one clerk to handle several people. Buffet was mediocre but many items were not covered and had stood open for some time. Service was good. Location was excellent but be aware that use of masks on the promenade appeared to be haphazard. Very limited parking available at the hotel with no alternative options provided. Given the alternatives in Morro Jable we were disappointed and will look elsewhere in the future.
• Andreina (10/5): Dea Calypso !!! - Hotel scelto dopo averlo visto molte volte dalla passeggiata e risultato un'ottima scelta per camera molto bella con terrazzo ampio e fornita di tutto il necessario compreso il bollitore con dotazioni. Servizi eccellenti a colazione e cena con ampia e varia scelta, apprezzati i succhi di frutta a colazione preparati al momento. Piscina climatizzata solarium con jacuzzi e molto bella la zona con prato con vista sul mare. Nessun canale italiano alla TV forse per la clientela in prevalente tedesca ma con i telefonini le notizie italiane sono sempre presenti. Da ritornarci per un periodo più lungo.
• STEPHEN (8/5): Nice hotel on beach but rubbish entertainment - This is a nice hotel, well located and kept clean. However what spoiled it was the rip off bar prices and rubbish entertainment in the evening. Most of the acts were the same as last year and generally poor. Fortunately the local town festival gave good evening entertainment and we found a really friendly bar which also had live music on certain nights.
• James Michael (10/5): A perfect place to stay. - This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel. Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.
• g (6/5): Adults only. - Disappointed and very upset, Hotel was booked six months ago for a very Special Occasion. On arrival told there was no room for us, we were transferred to the sister hotel on our special day. I had specified when the reservation was booked how this was a Special time, I feel they should have saved a room for us and moved someone else. We were given three different reasons why no room was available, this just made it worst. Had done a lot of research to pick the perfect place to Celebrate, only to be moved. Although we were given a lovely room at the other hotel, it was not where we wanted to be that night.We were left very upset. We will always remember our Special day for all the wrong reasons, when we did get our actual room we had flowers and a fruit basket nothing special, have received this in other hotels as a Welcome gesture.
• ali (10/5): House by the sea - This is a Lovely modern hotel very close to the beach and facilities of Moro jable and jandia . Food was lovely although the dining room is a bit find a table that is still set for use . Room was excellent and made up every day plenty of things going on in the hotel to do but not in English with a morning news letter but again mainly in another language this was not off putting in the slightest and everyone was very pleasant and my husband and I speak Spanish but the language was not Spanish. All in all a lovely stay would definitely return to this hotel.
