- BEAUFORTBHOY (9/5): Great hotel. - It was a lovely hotel, set in beautiful grounds and gardens. We stayed in room 14. It was perfect for our stay, apart from the window blinds. They were too narrow and let the light through.
- Diamond (10/5): - Millbrook lodge, is a lovely location. Rooms are tidy and clean. Beds were comfortable.
Lovely cooked breakfast and a very pleasant and helpful waitress in restaurant.
- Christine (8/5): Excellent, very comfortable, bathroomin Rectory suite was incredible as was the suite - The rectory suite was fantastic. Breakfast great, all staff extremely friendly and helpful going the extra mile. No complaints at all definitely stay again and definitely the rectory suite Nothing I could pick up on really. Often functions there but no noise disturbance. Car park very busy so has to park in drop off area on an occasion as disability spaces taken up and husband has disability.

- McNabney (7/5): -
- David (8/5): - Breakfast was good Room was very small for the money
- Gillian (7/5): Very cold hotel in the public rooms. The blinds don’t fit the windows so if let in light all night. Room above the car p - The wedding rooms where large It was freezing in the reception rooms downstairs.
Very overpriced. £215 for a Monday night double room with a push in camp bed for a third adult. Extortion.
- TRACIE (8/5): Was lovely location and surroundings were beautiful , very disappointed with the breakfast - The location was lovely The breakfast was terrible , we went down at breakfast time and I was unable to get full breakfast the serving dishes were empty ,
- Stephanie (9/5): Great, stay great staff, clean rooms - Beautiful property, room was clean and bed was really comfortable. Pillows were lovely too. Staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you.. The rooms were of a high standard but the noise you could hear from outside your door even people walking but reminded me even being in a student house back in the day.. kind of felt like you had to privacy to even talk as someone would hear from outside the door and the breakfast wasn’t great .. although we stayed here for a wedding and the food at the wedding was amazing and was expecting same quality for breakfast but was left disappointed. Would still stay again though, wouldn’t put me off staying again though
- Rosemary (8/5): -
- Jean (7/5): - Location very handy Breakfast choice very basic
Other guests very noisy during the night
- Angela (9/5): - Like the friendly amostphere, had dinner was great and breakfast top class. Near lift very cold and a musty smell, dampness, otherwise brilliant, a lovely homely amstophere.
- Noel (10/5): Newry and Mourne volunteer awards. - From the minute we stepped inside the hotel we noticed the lovely great smelling flowers on the centre table. The receptionist, Sinead was very welcoming to us and easy to chat with.
We called into the bar/restaurant for a wee Guinness and g&t.very pleasant bar attendant Ashlay who was easy to chat with also.
We were attending a function that evening with lovely hot , delicious chicken dinner and dessert.
Everyone admired the waiting staff serving very quickly and everyone at the same table together.
A very enjoyable time spent in Millbrook Lodge and will return. Nothing.

- Roisin (8/5): A birthday stay - The Rectory Suite was stunning 😍 The staff all very pleasant. No separate bar. Notified of a special occasion but no early check in or wee extras. Some light baubs in room not working. Ice cream at dinner was not great shop bought quality. Long wait at breakfast & fry was cold and greasy.
- William (2/5): I was very disappointed - Othe staff were friendly and the food was good I asked for a quiet room. My room was near the front. People were standing outside talking until after 2.30 am. I knocked the window and the talking stopped for a while but then someone else came along and started talking. I was unable to sleep until after 3am.
- Norman (10/5): -
- Jochem (7/5): -
- Bethany (6/5): Fine- wedding guests very loud - should definitely be a curfew at a certain time - Breakfast was great, bed was comfortable There was a wedding on and the guests were very very loud from 1am - 3am so we didnt get much sleep. If we would have known there was a wedding on at the same time we would have picked elsewhere.
- Sam (9/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): Convenient for our needs - Lovely setting and well maintained grounds Needs refresh. Fan in bathroom not working, wardrobes heavy and difficult to open, cup in room chipped. General cleanliness could have been better.
Nothing major but for the price expect slightly higher standard.
- STEVEN (10/5): -
- Gill (6/5): It was a comfortable stay , reasonable price. - There is no catering for a healthy breakfast eg cereal options, brown bread etc. Staff could have been better with customer care.
- Aleix (9/5): -

- Deanna (8/5): Very good -
- Rosemary (4/5): Ok - The location Shower heat control knob fell off and breakfast was mediocre
- Thomas (5/5): Lovely food but uncomfortable stay - Loved the food, top class The rooms are dated and beds weren’t comfortable, the walls were paper thin wee could hear people shuffling about and mumbling all night from other rooms
- Francine (10/5): Perfect stay for 1st wedding anniversay. - The price for the Rectory Room is great value. Had everything we needed for a perfect couples getaway. The room was clean and bed was so comfortable looking out to the beautiful gardens. Couldn’t fault the food at the restaurant and the cocktails are just yummy. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The complimentary bottle of Champaign’s and deserts left in the room for our anniversary was a superb extra touch to make our stay perfect after a short stroll around the beautiful gardens, where we managed to capture a few memories of our wedding day.
- Dermot (8/5): Very good -
- Rosaleen (5/5): Passable - Reception staff were friendly
Helpful Dector needs up dating

- Kenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (9/5): Superb - Lovely staff, food, rooms and location! Nothing!
- Ruth (10/5): A little hidden gem. - We liked everything. The staff, the welcome, the lovely Maria who served our lunch, the setting and the atmosphere were all excellent.
- Gwen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beverley (8/5): Great location, food and parking. - Rooms were very comfortable and large. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were lovely with good size portions. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The gardens are lovely to walk around and there is plenty of parking. Just 2 things. I had to check out the night before as I was leaving at 7.00am the next day to catch my flight. This was too early for breakfast which I think is unusual? It was a Saturday and breakfast did not start before 8.30. In previous hotels there has been an option available to have a packed breakfast to take with you instead. something that you might consider?
Also the blinds in the room are quite light and I find it difficult to sleep unless it's very dark, therefore I didn't sleep much. However, that's a personal thing, and it was very quiet in my room so if you don't mind the light you will get a good nights sleep.
- Josie (10/5): Great hotel! - Really friendly staff and the restaurant was lovely! Catered to allergies too
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Good range of cooked breakfast choices. Excellent evening meal. Nice walk around the grounds
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (9/5): Very pleasant. - Lovely location. Nice staff. Nothing
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing helpful staff. Beautiful hotel. So accomodating
- Linz87 (9/5): Great stay - Staff very helpful and friendly. Great stay and a great night at an event that was taking place in the hotel We stayed in room 17, our only fault with this room was it must be above the kitchen area so we were awoke very early from the noise of an extractor fan. Apart from this everything was great!
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were really great and nothing was a trouble for them Nothing
- Floriana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (10/5): Excellent visit! - I loved everything about my stay in Millbrook Lodge. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere generally was pleasant and informal. My room was large and very comfortable. I will certainly stay again whenever I'm in the area. The hotel has the added attraction of being just down the road from Montalto Gardens where I spent a couple of very pleasant hours - really beautiful. There is also a shop and a very nice cafe, well worth a visit. Nothing - even the weather was lovely!
- Amera (7/5): Perfect three star for an overnight. - The room needed a little attention. Re chipped wood on skirtings and under the window. The bathroom door in room 9 was not clean!! Rooms were not ready till 3pm as stated. However bed was comfortable and bathroom was nicely decorated.
The orangie is lovely with a beautiful seating area at back. The main function room is lovely as is the garden area out back. The gardens are lovely and kept well. Staff are reasonably friendly. Breakfast is buffet style and warm and ateable. The hotel for a three star is beautiful. The service is very very very slow at main bar in restaurant if you are waiting for a drink.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent - Staff were excellent, room was beautiful, fabulous night away, thank you!
