Guest Reviews
- John (9/5): A pleasant stay in a good location. - Everything we were advised was as expected and was good. There is no mention on Booking.com that a cooked breakfast is available as an extra, and this was not shown as an option, so it was a surprise when fellow guests were served cooked breakfasts.

Olive gave us the opportunity of a free upgrade which we took.
Very clean rooms and friendly staff All good but our room was at the very top of the building and there was not a lot of water pressure for showers. We have stayed here before on the lower floors and this was not an issue then

- Carolyn (10/5): Comfortable and cheerful gust house in Plymouth - The guest house is in a quiet location, and is easy to reach by bus from central Plymouth. It is close to Plymouth Hoe but the old town is further away perhaps 20 or 30 minutes on foot. There were several coffee bars and restaurants nearby but I didn't find any shops on the vicinity. The room I had was comfortable and clean with en suite facilities. There was a good variety of things to eat for breakfast. The owner and staff (it's family run) were very pleasant and helpful. I'd certainly consider staying there again if I'm in Plymouth.
- STEPHEN (9/5): Good location and good value with friendly and helpful hosts. - Mariners is in a great location for Central Plymouth, The Hoe and The Barbican but still in a quiet area. It's clean and cosy, good value and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

- Rafael (10/5): Perfect Stay: Clean, Comfortable, and Central - I absolutely loved everything about it! Despite being budget-friendly, the quality is exceptional. The service is impeccable, the facilities are top-notch and brand new, and everything is spotless and wonderfully fragrant. The average rating is 9.5, but honestly, a 10 wouldn’t be enough to express how wonderful my experience was. Plus, it’s perfectly located in the city center, with convenient parking and easy access to everything. Overall, my stay was genuinely excellent!
- Ling (10/5): -
- Anh (10/5): -
- Gina (9/5): Very good value - Very comfortable, excellent position and very friendly, helpful welcoming hosts

- Dawn (8/5): I will stay again, as a lovely Guest House to feel Welcomed into and a restful stay. - It was a pleasant and peaceful stay. The facilities are very good and the Guest House is very clean throughout. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The Continental Breakfast is varied and enjoyable. One improvement which, I believe, would benefit the Breakfast area in the morning, is the lay - out of accessing the Utensils and the ability to collect beverages and food items before sitting down to have Breakfast could be improved upon. Presently it can prove difficult if a number of people arrive at the same time to make tea, coffee, use the toaster, access the fridge, ect , criss-crossing each other often. A minor point noted.

- Tania (10/5): - Host was very nice. She helped me out a lot If you are parking check which side of the road you are parking and to pay
- Patrick (10/5): Fantastic - Very friendly and helpful owner. Made me feel very welcome.
- Seline (10/5): -
- Barry (9/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): It was a home away from home. - I was greeted by the owner who was exceptionally friendly. She offered me the choice of two rooms. I chose the one on the ground floor. The room was an excellent size. It was very clean and exceedingly comfortable. I was shown the breakfast room and told to help myself to water from the fridge or coffee. The cereals in individual boxs etc were laid out for the next morning and when I said I would be leaving before breakfast was served she told me to help myself to anything that was already laid out. I was told that there was milk in the fridge. Nothing
- Kathleen (10/5): - Olive was a lovely lady who went out of her way to make everything was good, would recommend this place to everyone
- Paul (8/5): -
- Zielinski (10/5): -

- Sandra (10/5): A very relaxing enjoyable stay - Location was ideal, as we could walk to the city centre, the Hoe and Barbican.
We had a choice whether or not to have a full breakfast on a daily basis.
The owners were very helpful and nothing was a problem.
- Michael (9/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - Great staff, ultra friendly and lovely location. Went to the Pavillion.
- Kathleen (10/5): - The cooked breakfast was really good, the room was very comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep.. I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double room on the first floor which helped me as I am 79. Olive very kindly collected me from the station as I was stranded by my booked taxi, in the rain and wind, and I was getting cold and wet. The location was perfect for my requirements and I would definitely stay there again, I enjoyed the experience of chatting to the other guests over breakfast at the communal table in the breakfast room, where there was an unlimited supply of hot drinks throughout the course of the day. I really liked the informal approach which doesn't happen in larger establishments. I couldn't find anything not to like
- Simon (10/5): Lovely B&B highly recommended, all good ❤️❤️❤️ - Lovely b&q, super clean and friendly. Lovely little touches everywhere. Lovely people. Stay here! ❤️❤️❤️ Nothing it was all good.

- Ashley (10/5): Perfect late autumn long weekend - Location was absolutely perfect for my requirements, close to the Hoe seafront and Plymouth city centre
Room was immaculately kept as was the breakfast room, where there was plenty of choice of food and drink, and the reception area
