• onechuel (3/5): Location was great and the worker was nice. However, place is not really well kept, very expensive for what you get. - Location is awesome. Right next to the gondola and another lift. No service, not clean, bed was broken so I slept crooked.
• Lau (5/5): - The staff were exceptional! If you are skiing it is a great location to get on the hill. It was very loud with the grooming cats at night and the bar was quite loud until 8. And the shower got water everywhere.

Close to nature and skiing and hot springs. Really friendly staff which was so accommodating to us guests. Nothing to think of, apart from having more ceramic mugs for coffee.

• Mico (7/5): Good - Cosy little room with all the amenities you need! Extremely helpful and friendly staffs. Most importantly a clean and modern toilet. Thank you! Quite a bit of a hilly walk to the main street but granted it’s a ski in ski out resort. Room used air condition as heater and it took quite long to warm up but still bearable.

• Rebecca (9/5): Great stay and location - Wonderful location right at the base of the Nagasaka Gondola. Staff were so helpful with information on booking any tours e.g. snow monkeys and lift and rentals information. It was really appreciated that they offered to order groceries prior to us arriving and making restaurants reservations. Well stocked with cooking appliances/utensils/crockery if you didn't want to eat out. Beds were very comfortable. There was a craft beer bar on the property, but unfortunately not yet opened as it must have been too early in the season. They weren't opening until the just after mid December. Very minor - the carpet was a bit stained in spots, but the rest of the apartment and bathroom was very clean. A few stinkbugs were found, but not too many while we were there..they seemed to keep to the floor.

• Sarah (7/5): great location right near the lifts - location was great, right near the lifts, easy access to skiing. we were in Spring season and the cafe/ bar underneath was closed. although there was 2 bedrooms, it was still small. no room for baggage etc. Bathroom small plastic cube, but functional. beds extremely firm.

• Aat (9/5): Great apartment close to the gondola - Great apartment located at the top of the town very close to the gondola. Located above the craft room bar - a positive for us and it shut early enough noise wasn't an issue. Drying room downstairs worked a treat. Checkin was at another building down the road (Address Nozawa). The undercover parking was a short walk away inside another building - very handy during winter but definitely drop your bags at the apartment first. Can be a little bit noisy some nights being so close to the groomed slopes

• Anonymous (6/5): Great location, descent accommodation with a few issues. - it was just next to the Nagasaka gondola, had a craft beer/coffee/restaurant spot doenstairs, and was walking distance to lots of restaurants. very good location. We found quite a few bugs during our stay-small, flying, beetle bugs. I don’t know if this is normal for nozawa onsen, but the quantity seemed excessive and bothersome. we informed the staff and they said they would look into it but we never heard back. It was also quite dusty. Not dirty, but there were window ledges, blinds, shelves and backs of beds that clearly had not been dusted for some time. Finally, the beds were a tad hard. I know this is standard for Japan, but still worth mentioning.
