- Simon (10/5): - The room was lovely, spacious, warm, comfortable and clean. All the staff were warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was really good! Beautifully cooked, generously sized, tasted great. There was nothing not to like, I wholeheartedly recommend them.
- Daniel (6/5): - Good size rooms Smell of old oil from the pub was not nice.
Could not sit on the sofa to watch TV
- Jen (7/5): Good for a stopover! - Size of room. Warm room. Green space for dogs. Friendly pub staff. The room was in need of a deep clean/refresh - looks a bit dated. Shower and cups dirty.

- Wendy (9/5): Second time at The Black Horse- will definitely be back again. - Convenient location and the good is great. Staff were nice too It was a little chilly

- Kevin (10/5): Good, room / food / location combination. - The pub was exactly where I needed it to be, the room was great with a good big bed and the good was exceptional. It's not my local, I could do with it being closer so I could visit more often.
- Peter M Lawrence (10/5): - Nice overnight stay . Nothing
- Ian (10/5): Enjoyable stay in chalet-type room. - These custom built chalets are adjacent to the Pub just 40 feet away. The chalets are modern with nice clean bathroom, exceptionally comfortable bed and nice sitting area with a couch and work desk. Excellent WiFi connectivity, and a lovely mowed garden with seating and picnic tables outside the front door. The staff in the pub are super friendly and the chef prepares an amazing variety of traditional dishes and desserts. Great atmosphere inside the pub, friendly, warm and chatty. I will be returning! Maybe add a small mini fridge in the room?

We were visiting family and will definitely make that our overnight stop in future for all our visits.
Could not fault anything. Nothing to dislike.

- Kyle (10/5): Brilliant atmosphere and comfy bed - Stayed here after a day out at Blyton Park. The food was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The team were incredibly friendly and made my first solo trip away from home one to remember!
- Ricki Ross (9/5): -
- StuartS4830 (10/5): Excellent, exceeded my expectations. - Large comfortable room. Excellent food in very generous portions. Staff were great. Choice of 4 real ales. Ample parking. Great location. Busy road outside, but barely audible inside, particularly as the rooms are away from the road.
- Liz (8/5): - Great location to visit lots of places of interest. The Black Horse pub is very welcome and the food excellent and great value for money. The accomodation is larger inside than it looks and any concerns were addressed. No breakfast included but there is a good offer for those who like a full English with all the trimmings. It proves more expensive for those who prefer or need for medical reasons a smaller, continental breakfast e.g yoghurt, fruit, porridge.
- Natalie (6/5): A humble and cosy pub with a roomy stay! - For a ‘pub’ bed and breakfast, the rooms were very pleasant! More space in the accommodation than expected 😊 the room was nicely decorated and it would be a nice place for a while weekend or longer. Overall cleanliness was good, however some areas could have been better, like the bathroom. Although the check in process was smooth, the booking stated breakfast was included. Unfortunately, even after showing the booking confirmation on my phone we were told it was not included and were expected to pay additionally.
- Graham (10/5): I’ll be back - Great location and great service very well comfy Everything was great for me and food banging
- Craig (7/5): Overall ok - Location was good Room temperature was very cold and it took all night to even get up to a comfortable temperature

- Pru's Dad (9/5): Very pleasant - Friend staff.
Motel style accommodation. Room heating. Takes ages to warm up.
- Pru's Dad (7/5): Enjoy this very much. - Really like the Hotel style accommodation. Room service hanging on the door 45 minutes prior to required vacation.
Have found window notification about room servicing and hope that works.
- Annie (8/5): I enjoyed a peaceful stay at a decent price - Located in a quiet village. Individual room situated outside of pub. Bed and pillows could be upgraded
- Steven (8/5): - The food was very nice, however, I only just made it there on time to get an evening meal. Maybe the kitchen closed early as it was a Monday. Going by the evening meal I'm sure the breakfast would have been great, but breakfast didn't start until 08:30am. That's far too late for me.
- Mark (8/5): great room for price, just remember to bring black tape to solve the light pollution. - great room, nice bed and pillow, had AC, clean and tidy, very good for price, great if your doing a track day at blyton park, could park right next to my room door. emergency exit green light was way too bright, no where near pitch black with lights off, had to cover it up with some black tape, same for wi fi light to get to sleep.
- Chris (8/5): - Fantastic location for Blyton Race Track

- Nicola (7/5): - Property was fine clean and comfortable No toliet rolls has to ask staff.
Morning after our stay, we went to the pub for breakfast and was told we should have pre booked the night before. But when checked in we wasn’t asked.
Asked if we can get a and a coffee told by the cleaner she would have to ask chef as she was cleaner
Chef said ok but wasn’t putting on machine as takes to long so for an instant coffee and two teas was about £12 something.
We sat down and chef asked cleaner to make. She did bring over coffee first I asked if we could have maybe just toast as another couple was having a full breakfast she said I’ll ask but you should have pre ordered stated we wasn’t aware. Came back and said no and don’t ask for anymore as she needed to get on a clean. We had our coffee but no tea just the cups.
I went after 5 mins when she was hoovering and asked for the tea she was quite sharp and said was in the pot I said we don’t have it and then she argued we did. When she came to table she said oh I left on kitchen .
Went and got and apologised.
We love the rooms and stayed at hotel 4 times and never had staff like this before felt a real inconvenience. The staff when we checked in were super friendly. And always have been so was a bit taken back.
- Pru's Dad (8/5): Pleasant - Easy parking. Friendly staff. Easy room access. Not very warm. Air conditioning takes an age to warm up the room.

- james (9/5): Very good - Good breakfast Nothing
- PAUL EDWARD (5/5): Great room. Great space very clean. Great evening meal. Would recomend.
Very bad bed . Bad breakfast - The room was very clean.
Great size. Great location.
The evening meal fish & chips was great. The bed was terible. It has a very bad dip in it .
Giving a very bad night sleep. I think it is because to watch tv you need to sit on the bed. As the 2 seater is under the window.with the tv over your left sholder. Behind you. I moved the 2 seater to the end of the bed .
Then the tv is fasing you.
The other big problem waiting out side for pre ordered brekfast . Booked for 9am . Followed sheff in after 9:10 . Then he cooked breakfast. On the table in aprox 3 minuets.
Cold poached eggs. Frozen butter. After waiting for it and cold full breakfest. But hot sasuage. Dont know how.

- david (10/5): Excellent value for money - Quiet , spacious , air conditioned with parking
Private rooms at the rear of the pub with entrance direct from the car park Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - Nice spacious chalets to the side of the pub rather than being on top or adjoining, meaning less noise and disruption. Ample parking. Room provided everything Id have expected. All the staff at the Black Horse were very welcoming and friendly. WiFi wasn’t very reliable but luckily phone signal was good enough that it wasn’t an issue.
