Guest Reviews
- Thavius (3/5): Not great - Parking Room smelled like cigarettes... Maids came into my room even though I had the "do not disturb" sign on my door.
- Darioush (3/5): -
- Jennyfer (7/5): Idéal pour passage - Emplacement
Parking gratuit
Chambre spacieuse Un peu vétuste
Chambre pas isolée nous avons entendu la fille pleurait toussait à 4 h du matin
Il est noté que booking petit déjeuner inclus / non rien
- Joseph (9/5): - We like the micro in room and refrigerator. Really largeshower area. I would enjoy movie channels on tv.
- Joseph (10/5): -
- Christian (8/5): Lugar tranquilo - Me gustó la tranquilidad. Nadie me molestó en ningún momento.
- Gladys (6/5): - I slept well and was able to enjoy the events I came for. Floors were yukky - a little tacky when I wore shoes and my feet got dirty when I took them off.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Sater-Cook (1/5): Not good. I will be seeking a refund. - The location was the only good thing. The room was not good. The door lock was broken and only one channel available on the TV. We were moved to another room eventually which was worse than the first. The TV worked but this was little compensation. When the manager was first called about the door lock, he responded that we did not need to worry, he was keeping an eye on things. Unbelievable. Do not stay at this place. I intend to demand a refund.
- Lucy (4/5): - I was hoping to have a comfortable bed, nice furniture that wasn’t peeling and clean towels that didn’t look dingy. They don’t serve breakfast. They only serve a continental which is coffee, danish, and fruit. If I had more money with me, I would’ve went somewhere else.
- Kim Daniel (6/5): - The cleanliness is what you'll expect for a low-cost place to sleep in when you're traveling.
- Kate (2/5): - Room was absolutely disgusting. Hair on pillows, literal termites falling out of the lights and coming up through the drains, ceiling is sinking from water rot and could kill someone. Found some random baby clothes tucked behind the bed? Thought maybe the other reviews were over exaggerating. Nope. Absolutely filthy, do not stay here.
- Jess (8/5): - Clean room
- Elizabeth (2/5): - The photos on Expedia are not what this place looks like. It is terribly worn down. Happy I made it out alive
- Stacy (2/5): - I give the property 0-stars
Horrific. I was only there 2-nights. I interrupted someone using drugs and called the Police. I individual came to my door and and almost broke in (for calling the Police). Then the Police showed up to a house el room in the middle of the night with a door wide open and the occupant not responding. It smelled horrific like an industrial sized pesticide. [I attend a Junior College one night a week. Which lets out at 10:00PM in n Los Angeles County. I take the bus. It takes 2-3 buses to get back and 2.0 mile walk]. I got back from school to a next door neighbor in a hotel room hopped up on drugs. The Police did “a welfare check” on me thinking the guy had a weapon. I ‘tapped’. On the wrong wall that night. I had gotten in the shower.
Requested entire amount of Travelocity booking refunded for the trouble. I was able to get through 30-pages of course work that week.
But was asked to leave the next day.
Summary. The Inn Keeper would rather look the other way than ask the drug users to leave. It ended up being an old homeless couple who walked out as I left. Puffing on propane tanks to get high. It definitely wasn’t to BBQ.
It’s Los Angeles- to allow potentially flammable contents into a hotel environment. They could have killed anyone. No one happened to check that occurring? I believe propane tanks are not allowed in hotels.
Sincerely,
Stacy Walker

- Jess (10/5): - It was clean
- Robert (10/5): - It is a great value for the money and it is in the heart of Pasadena....
- George (10/5): - The room was nice, I was in the handicap room, which I didn't ask for, but that's OK, I enjoyed the big shower space.
I departed the hotel around 7am, I did not see any breakfast offered, but that's OK. I wasn't' expecting any.
I would of liked to have a coffee machine in my room.
I would stay at the Motel again, all was good.
- Irma (4/5): - The room had bad smell plus it mad it hard to take a shower because it’s only hot water
- Kiisha (10/5): - Great stay
- Marc (8/5): - The bathroom has some hair. The bowl is not super clean. Other than that it’s fair. Thank you.
- Audrey (10/5): - La Casa Inn is affordable, clean, safe, and in a great spot in LA. I couldn’t find information on the breakfast time anywhere so for those wondering breakfast is served from 7-9am. I would return to La Casa Inn for my next LA stay!
- Sonia (8/5): best bang for your buck - clean and comfortable bed, very spacious and lots of room, fast wifi and tv in room, my only thing is, it says they have breakfast, but it’s just coffee and half a muffin, little disappointed but everything else was a 10/10 for the price.
- Belinda (10/5): -
- Hugo (10/5): - This place is always where I stay because is safe and the staff are always welcoming …
- Kiisha (10/5): - Excellent
- Kiisha (10/5): - Wonderful
- Kiisha (10/5): - Great
- Aldo (10/5): - Very good
- Kiisha (10/5): - Great
- Rachel (2/5): - Once I got into my room there was a roach on the wall… and it smelled like strong disinfectant.
Still stayed because I needed a place to crash, got a notification from the bank at 3 am saying my card is being used at a super 8 ??? How ??
- Jaime (4/5): - The pool was under construction
- Carla (8/5): - Our room smelt like extremely strong incense. The body wash and shampoo empty on the wall. There was crazy dust bunnies in the corners. The positive is the bed that was clean and very comfortable. There was minimal outside noise and the air conditioner worked really well.
- Donna (8/5): - Room was clean. The towels were not very soft and it took forever for hot water shower after a concert. Felt safe and it is close enough to The Rose Bowl to make it a good choice for a one night stay. AC worked great
- Dianne (8/5): -
- Cara (1/5): NEVER AGAIN!!! - The location of the property was close to medical appointments. I feel like it was a "bait & switch". Online pics were not even close to the actual room. Filthy old carpet, towels were disgusting, and shower needed a good scrub. The pool was not available for the two days we were there. The walls were so thin we were kept up late every night by neighbors. No hot water to shower until the neighbors turned off their shower. Yes, we could hear their shower running.
We don't mind nostalgic old motels, but it can certainly be clean. There is nothing worse than filthy carpet and disgusting towels. We won't stay there ever again. The final insult was a 50 cent charge for ice. Never, in my vast travels, have I had to pay for ice. Charge a dollar more for the room and include the ice.
So much more I could share but not worth the effort. Never again sums it up pretty well.
- Dianne (8/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): - Stains on furniture and bed, damage in bathroom
- Irene (10/5): - I love the staff.
- Melissa (6/5): - Property was ok.
- Irene (10/5): - The owners and the staff are very nice, and they don't mind working with you.
- Wesley (10/5): - Great little spot for the price
- Josue (6/5): - 24 hr lobby
- Tony (10/5): - The hotel is clean and nice, but the furniture needs to be updated..
- Julie (10/5): Nice quiet motel in Pasadena - Last minute stay. Nice little motel in Pasadena that met our needs without breaking the bank. We’ll stay again!
- Sang (10/5): - For the price in Pasadena, the room I stayed in was spacious, clean on top of microwave and a fridge. The manager is friendly, very understanding that he let me borrow his screw driver so I could replace my car battery. The location is close to freeway, coin laundry, grocery markets and main restaurants. It's hard to find an affordable place like this in Pasadena. I would come back here when I visit the area again forsure
- Jennifer (10/5): - Had free breakfast. Coffee juice and fruit. Room was always clean when coming back from being out for the day.
- Kimberly (4/5): - Bed was hard, dirty floors, towels were dingy, no pool, smell bad odor in main office and whole establishment. No water pressure. Refrigerator was unplugged food went bad waste our money on food we bought had to be thrown away. Stairway dirty trashy will not stay there again.
- Kiisha (10/5): - It was great
- Sang (2/5): - The only reason why I stayed at the property is location close to workplace. The manager looks down on customers, doesn't care much about service quality and not friendly at all. Also the place is dirty and not well maintained. I'd only recommend it for location advantage.
- Mahdi (2/5): Dont waste your time and money - So dirty,
You have to put 50 cent to get ice! How i could get quarter coin!
- Moises (10/5): - Very affordable and its close to downtown. Friendly and helpful staff 👌
- Bryan (8/5): - Nice and clean rooms
- Erick (4/5): - ? ?
- Mary (10/5): - Good
- Eddie (10/5): Exceptional -
- W (2/5): Good location poor air quality inside the room - Good location The room had such a strong chemical smell from some strong cleaning solution that one got a headache breathing it and could not ventilate the room fast enough by leaving doors and windows open
- Melroy (9/5): I stay a few times over the years - Nice people that work there Nothing
- Lucretia (4/5): - The price of this hotel was very modest, and you get what you pay for. The advertised breakfast is luke warm coffee and plain doughnuts, over at 9:00. The beds are lumpy. The shower stall needs scrubbing. The neighbors are noisy.
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (6/5): - Average hotel. Not very clean, stains in the bathroom and quite old worn-out equipment.
Available ‘breakfast’ means coffee, stale donuts, apple and banana .....
- Perkins (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Beds were comfortable and cooler worked. The shower was hokey. We had to try a few times to get it to come on. The furniture was damaged and old. There was no coffee pot. Website said there was breakfast available but there wasn't. They supposedly cleaned but the floor still felt dirty and sandy.
- Ariel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (6/5): Its a Motel not a Hotel - Very Clean, but not enough parking for every guest.
Needs “SEVERE” Remodeling!
- Moises (10/5): - Tbh the staff even treat us like friends since everytime i visit i love staying here its close by and theyre ceey affordable.
- Bob (6/5): - Chair was stained and filthy, towels were terrible
- Brenda (3/5): Poor -
- Shonn (6/5): - Property in poor condition. Poor outbid service likely forever. Coffee avail in office ONLY at 0700
If you want coffee before 7am go elsewhere.
No coffee makers in room
- Ovieda (7/5): Good - Lack of drinking cups on room, no closet.
- Alicia (6/5): - Rather not share any views
- Maria (8/5): - They offer breakfast there was only coffee with some bread they were stale
- Jose (10/5): - Great place
- Skyler (6/5): Misrepresentation - I contemplated sharing this with the management but realized they would have already made these changes if they cared about their property.
The exterior is grossly littered with cigarette butts and debris. An easy fix. Sweep it up.
I always take my shoes off upon entry, found my feet were black from the existing filth from my motel room floor with someone’s hair stuck on the bottom. Shower barely works due to the almost inoperable shower knob on the faucet. Two towels that barely covered my head and weirdly not absorbent. Huge gap under door and locking mechanism is not working well. Baseboards were dirty. Microwave & Fridge were a nice touch. Sheets were soft. Toilet seat had permanent scratches or stains..Come on, replace this stuff. It’s super easy. Clean properly..Again very easy to do. Then it could be my mistake but both nights in the morning and evening the loud conversation that sounded exactly like management was intrusive and inconsiderate. If you live at your motel then you know your guests need peace and quiet to sleep. Not that complicated to grasp. Unless you don’t care. Was hoping for a dip in the pool. Always a red flag when they show you nice pool photos and it’s covered and surrounded by junk.. probably hasn’t been useable for years.. misrepresentation all around. Do Better!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Came during the rose bowl understanding there were slim pickings but this place was horrible. Rooms are kept up at a minimum standard, furniture falling apart, terrible bedding, etc. Pretty sure people live here. Also, there was some sort of domestic dispute going on from 3 AM - noon with people throwing things at each other and nothing was done about it. When we left there was someone passed out in their car next to us with the door open and it looked like they lived in their car.
- Aaron (9/5): Superb -
- Louisa (10/5): - Friendly front desk
Clean rooms and quiet area
- Raquel (7/5): Good -
- Domonique (2/5): - The front desk agent made it a point to mention over 5-6 times the room was non-smoking. I assured him there would be no smoking in the room and he still insisted to tell me "if you smoke, please smoke outside or we will charge you"
At first i attributed this to him just doing his job...it wasn't until checking out and seeing the same front desk person checking a woman into her room...not ONCE did he mention to her about smoking in the room. Now i understand, his deliberate and intentional messages about smoking in the room were reserved for african american male guests, such as myself.
With all that said, thats not even scratching the surface of the issue at hand. The room reserved for my stay was FILTHY. Stains on the comforter as well as all throughout the sheets, stains on the toilet (that wiped off with toilet paper), cracks and uneven floor boards, dust/dirt build-up in the AC/Heating unit, gnats flying around in the bathroom, just an awful experience all around. I expressed to the front desk agent the issues with the room, he asked "why didn't you report it after check-in" i explained to him i honestly wasn't expecting much from a 2 star hotel...and that if this was the quality of room he's checking guests into, i SERIOUSLY DOUBT the other rooms were any better. I honestly could've saved my money, and slept in my car for the level of comfort provided here.
- jesse (10/5): Jesse - It is a great hotel with good friendly staff
- Vladimir (10/5): - The staff are good, decent people.
- Graciela (9/5): " Super Stay" - I like the Owners and Staff!
They are very kind and nice!
I like it the.bathroom very nice and renew!
The bed was comfortable also. it was all good !
- Steven (10/5): - Great stay.
- Thrash (9/5): Superb - My stay at La Casa Inn was good, the room was clean and the staff was very helpful. For the price I will stay here again for the convenience of the location and my work.
- Diego (10/5): - Very nice chill place to stay. It was a lot better than I expected. Only problem was there was some hair on the towels but I just took them off so I don’t care. Comfy bed with big TV and room service.
- keniablanco2024 (10/5): Travel from work - Travel from work and school I need a place where I can rest and study.also be close to my job location.
- Kenia Patricia (10/5): - Everithing
- Mark (8/5): - It was OK
- Dominique (6/5): - So when I saw the reviews, I think I kind of expected a little bit more than what was published. I would honestly give this kind of a 2-2.5/ 5.
We let them know if we could be on the bottom floor just so we don't have to hear anyone and if we can just be in a room that's not having anyone above us and unfortunately they put someone above us and we could hear this person up at 5 AM stomping around, but maybe it was just basic walking around, but we could just clearly hear cause the floors are really thin.
We looked at the hotel room. It did have a distinctive smell inside and when we turned on the AC, it had an even weirder smell. There was light like holes in the walls as well as small punctures throughout the room. It wasn't so much dirty, but I definitely feel like the maids. Don't really wipe down the restrooms that well and then there was kind of just like dust behind the beds, behind counters.
What side was that? We also didn't get the turndown service from the maids when we got back to the hotel room around 1-2. Honestly, we were supposed to stay three nights, but we ended up leaving early cause I just didn't really feel comfortable inside. Also, the whole area around was sketchy.
There was people smoking cigarettes and yelling at the kids, didn't really feel safe with my 11 yr old daughter.
Also, when it says free breakfast, we actually thought there would be a breakfast, but it was just expired Bruised fruit, weird tasting oj, & nasty coffee.
- Kathleen (6/5): Fine room but unsafe surroundings. - The room was fine but it was a bit unsafe as there were unknown people wandering around the hotel property.
- Vicky (2/5): - The bathroom gross.
- Snejana (6/5): - This is a good place. People are good and friendly. Location is good. The room was cleaned. The bathroom was never cleaned. There is a mildew in the room and in the bathroom.
- Yasmin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Katrina (2/5): - We didn’t have hot water for the first night, I really wish they could’ve given us a refund since hot water is such a basic thing. The neighbors were up all night arguing and lots of random noises.
- Ganapathy (10/5): - Good location, good value
- Melanie (10/5): - .
- Annalamoin (8/5): Exceptional - The room was much better than i expected, clean, modern, spacious, had a little trouble with the tv but the staff fixed the problem right away The bathroom light didn’t work and i didn’t like how they charged you for ice but those were minor
- justin (8/5): - Beds were clean and the service was friendly.
- Bernard (10/5): - Highly recommended 😬!!
