The hosts were very very friendly and attentive, check in at 2 was a big help, rather than the usual 3pm in most places. The location was super handy for eveywhere in blackpool. The room was super clean, lovely fresh towels and tea/coffe and water avaiable. The water pressure for the sink and shower not great.

- Paul (6/5): Lovely staff, not the worst in Blackpool to stay but things to improve on maybe. - The hostess is very friendly, although she seems the only member of staff as such. The sheets were clean in the room. The location is excellent for what you'll want to do in Blackpool. The bunk bed in the family room squeaks with every move your child makes that keeps everybody up. The TV is in a peculiar position and is difficult to see and is small. The sink in the bathroom is tiny and doesn't drain well. The cups had some tiny flies in them. The breakfasts weren't great value to be honest on reflection we could have got better value and more quality by eating out - it was ok though. The hotel is a little bit tired, but nowhere near the worst in Blackpool, and the lounge covered in Bolton Wanderers stuff might be nice for them but maybe not so for your guests sadly. No card facilities at all and no cash machines about. The car park opposite is very pricey! £15 per 24 hours. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom is in what used to be a cupboard it seems.

- Liz (10/5): Family Break. - The host was very good and could not do enough for us .made a brilliant breakfast excellent value for the price of the 2 days we were there . The room was very hot. But to be fair, it was a very hot couple of days. Shower a bit poor low pressure, but it did the job .

Great people Lisa and Mark, so friendly and understanding of my health conditions. So good with food requirements, breakfast was brilliant! Lots of tea and coffee replenish for room. Great staff to chat with in lounge bar area. Good area as slightly away from centre but walkable for coach station. Heatwave as temperature for room got really warm but advised from Lisa to draw the curtains as west facing window for sun and did that and it was okay

- Mclaren (10/5): The Franklyn hotel is 100% worth it and was an amazing experience. - Our stay at the Franklyn hotel was amazing, Lisa went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met and even went out of her way to make a specialty breakfast for my daughter who wasn’t feeling too well on our stay. The hotel was very well managed and spotless! Would 100% stay again and have certainly found our go to hotel for in the future🥰

She was so nice and accommodating. - Brilliant size family room - Good variety of breakfast as a vegetarian and having two kids. - Very fairly priced - Booked on the day and was short noticed but host was professional and still able to cater for me and two children. - Close to amenities (Morrisons corner shop, fish and chips etc) - Distance walking from Blackpool attractions (however, was very quiet on a Saturday night despite football match, Illuminations and comedy show at Winter gardens) - not en-suite bathroom and shared (however, it was very clean on arrival)

Room was a good size. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of drinks available and tea, coffee and biscuits also in the room. Bunk beds were creaky and our kid is wriggly so we did get woken up a few times. Only one parking space so be prepared to pay for parking (we paid £12 for 24 hours).

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend away. Parking is a bit of a pain. Room didn't have a hairdryer so make sure you ask for one when you check in. However Lisa was lovely and ensured my granddaughter got some cereal and my son and I got got a drink from the bar free of charge by way of compensation for the breakfast.

- Leah (10/5): Brilliant, happy children, helpful host 😊 - The lady was so welcoming and great with our children the room was perfect for what we needed the children loved the bunk bed and we paid extra to have to en-suite which was much more convenient for us. Location was great not far from the beach of the main sea front. Would definitely come back and recommend. We did book For 3 nights but did only stay 2 as we did everything we wanted to do and with our son been autistic it was just a struggle towards the end the host was so understanding of this but very happy with our stay!

The only improvement I would say is that it would have been nice to have hand soap and a hand towel in the en suite. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. There is a car park across the road and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the beach front so it’s in a great location

- Dorgan (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely situated for all amenities plus a car park just opposite. The proprietors are a lovely couple, breakfast's are really good.
- Izabela (9/5): Great time away! Would defo go back! - Staff really accomodating! Met all of our needs! Rooms could be slightly bigger, however this did not affect our stay!
- Sophie (10/5): Happy Customer - Lisa was welcoming and friendly from the minute we arrived, even helping us up the stairs with our cases. The room was beautifully decorated and was clean and homely and in a great location for myself and my family - literally a 10 minute walk to the promenade and close to shops. We had a great stay and would definitely book to stay again. Thank you for a great stay 🙂 No complaints - we enjoyed our stay.

- Jane (10/5): Excellent - It was very welcoming, the host Lisa was very polite, let us check-in a few hours before time n showed us to our room. Loved the atmosphere and the London theme of the small family room. Nice and homely n comfortable night sleep. Defo will be staying again. Lovely people.
