• Riccardo (10/5): Procida' s dream - Everything was perfect, the landlord was very welcoming and helpful, she showed us the property and we could feel how proud she was about it. The furnitures are amazing, comfortable, dreamy, Moroccan/spanish style. We felt like living in a Mediterranean fable. Price was very fair and the breakfast had local produce, handmade local jams, local bread , delicious juice and lot more, the breakfast terrace was wonderful. Room was huge and comfy. We will definitely come back next time we visit the beautiful island of procida. WiFi was little patchy but it didn't bother us, just enjoy the island and the accomodation Everything was perfect

• Mikael Oscar (10/5): A one of a kind boutique hotel experience on Procida - Our five days at Casa Bormioli, can’t be described as anything other than astonishing. The hotel is a beautifully restored residence from the 1800, which both feels immensely luxurious, homely and personal. The common areas are decorated with Italian art, tapestries and artifacts from Mimi’s (the owners) many travels - giving the guest an insight into her interesting life. We especially liked the common veranda (built with Marrakech tiles), which overlooked an old lemon garden. We stayed in a gorgeous suite over two floors with a view overlooking the main street towards Corricella. Although the hotel is one of the nicest and most stylish boutique hotel experiences we have had, Mimi was what made the experience truly unique. Assisting with everything from restaurant bookings and local recommendations to engaging conversations. We are truly appreciative of the effort of Mimi, Emmanuelle and the rest of the staff. Our holiday would not have been the same without it. Grazie mille

• Laura (10/5): - My family and I stayed in three deluxe rooms last weekend. The rooms were very spacious, full of light, and we couldn't hear anything from the road, property has thicks walls, a natural soundproofing. The rooms are superb and well furnished, with all comforts. The beds were really comfy, each room has the a/c. really funky bathrooms. Breakfast room (pic attached), lovely gathering with the other guests..we had my mums Bday celebration! The breakfast has a good range of continental breakfast with an abundant local products, priceless! Casa Bormioli's location is fantastic, 7 minutes from the port and close to Corricella. A minute's walk takes you to the square leading up to the castle, with a stunning view! The owner of the property, is a fantastic host! Always ready to recommend the best route, the best restaurant, or what to do in Procida. We had bad storm, but she reassured us and updated us regarding the ferries. She also booked us a fantastic restaurant, La Medusa right at the port, btw I really recommed it as well! Overall, we had a great time, I really recommend this staying and I'll be back in the future. • Bernard (8/5): Great location to explore Procida - We really enjoyed our one night stay. We came into Procida a day early prior to a week of sailing with SailItalia. We wanted to find an option where 3 couples could stay together. The Casa Bormili was a great fit. We each had a separate bed and bath but with plenty of shared living space to gather for conversation and a glass of wine. The location close to the marina was another bonus. It was just a short walk down the Cobblestone streets to hop on the sailboat for our charter. The staff were very helpful in getting us settled in after a long overnight flight in from the USA and in suggesting restaurant options for dinner . The breakfast in the morning was made of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. and was a nice start to the day. As with most locations in Italy, the couple of flights of stairs up to the rooms might present a challenge to those with difficultly managing the climb.

• Samantha (9/5): Very relaxing stay in a tranquil boutique hotel. - The hotel was very pretty: from the airy common rooms, to the dining areas, to the courtyard. It was small and intimate and we enjoyed the breakfast. Wifi was nearly inaccessible. While our room was spacious and creatively decorated, there was not a lot of natural light (which isn't too big of a deal considering how hot it was in Procida).

• i (3/5): Sembrava di essere in caserma per il modo in cui siamo state trattate. - La struttura di per sé era molto bella esteticamente La camera aveva della polvere, le finestre piccole, la proprietaria ha risposto malissimo alla ragazza con cui viaggiavo e si comportava come se lei che ci ospitasse a titolo gratuito . Era rumorosa perché i cani della proprietaria abbaiavano . Inoltre , al nostro rientro a casa abbiamo ricevuto una spiacevole sorpresa perché la struttura vuole farci pagare la somma di 400 euro a titolo di penale perché sostiene che abbiano rovinato la zanzariera (a loro dire del Kenya) appoggiata sul letto a baldacchino. Detta zanzariera era tutto polveroso e non permetteva l’accesso al letto a un ospite che avrebbe dovuto scavalcare l’altro ospite per riuscire ad entrare nel letto.

• Anastasia (9/5): Posizione ideale, camera spaziosa e staff accogliente 🌊🏝️ - L’hotel si trova in una posizione molto comoda e centrale: circa dieci minuti a piedi dal traghetto, con una passeggiata piacevole tra le vie dell’isola. Anche il Castello d’Avalos è raggiungibile in dieci/quindici minuti a piedi. L’edificio è una grande casa con tante camere e un’atmosfera familiare. La nostra camera era spaziosa, con un bagno grande e molto comodo, dotato sia di doccia che di vasca (noi abbiamo usato solo la doccia). La colazione, inclusa nel soggiorno, era abbondante e soprattutto dolce: tanti dolci freschi e un po’ di frutta. Nella parte salata c’erano solo salame e uova cotte. Un piccolo suggerimento: aggiungere qualche verdura fresca, come pomodori e insalata, renderebbe la colazione perfetta per tutti i gusti. Nella nostra camera si percepiva un leggero odore di sigaretta elettronica, probabilmente lasciato da ospiti precedenti. Non è un problema dell’hotel in sé, ma sarebbe meglio evitare di fumare in camera, per mantenere l’ambiente fresco e piacevole. Inoltre, in camera erano presenti alcuni peluche che, soprattutto nei mesi estivi, possono accumulare polvere e provocare allergie. Suggerirei di riporli, così da mantenere l’ambiente più pulito e confortevole per tutti gli ospiti. Nel complesso, un soggiorno piacevole in una posizione perfetta per scoprire Procida a piedi.

• Monica (8/5): Personligt och ståtligt! - Väldigt fint mottagande/service, rent och fint ståtligt rum. Lite svårt att hitta entrén som känns hemlig/annorlunda. Inte något för den som tycker om fin utsikt eller fin trädgård. Men om du vill bo centralt, nära hamnen och Corricella, är det ett bra alternativ. Vi blev väldigt trevligt bemötta och trivdes bra i det personliga rummet Minnie!

• Lewis (10/5): Beautiful, clean & excellent location. - The owner was present during the stay and it was clear that this property was her pride & joy, and she has done an excellent job with it. It is a hotel combined with an art gallery is the easiest way to describe it, just beautiful. There was a translator available to help us during the stay and both spent time explaining the island and what to do in the short time that we were there. Their recommendations were excellent! It was clear how much the guests meant to this business and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone coming to the island. The property is also located within easy walk to everything so we were able to do everything we wanted. Nothing could have been better.

• Esme (9/5): Wonderful, tastefully decorated, sophisticated b&b in a great location, with a beautiful terrace and kind hosts. 100 - Best thing is the terrace overlooking the orange trees, where you can have breakfast/read etc. it’s a characterful old property, located 5 mins walk from the Marina Di Corricella (best part of the island). Location is great. Breakfast was very nice. The lady of the house and the housekeeper were both very kind and welcoming, allowing us to rest on the terrace long after check out. Would recommend! We stayed in one of the cheaper bedrooms, which had no view, with the window looking straight onto an internal wall, so could be a little dark. This might mean it’s quite cool in summer though? And the bathroom wasn’t en-suite, but was a few steps down a relatively private corridor. For the lack of view/light, and the semi-shared bathroom, it meant the value for money was ok, but not excellent. That said though, the whole place was so lovely, it was still a fantastic place to stay! And would 100% recommend

The breakfast area opens out onto a Moroccan style terrace overlooking a private orchard (not part of the property). Breakfast itself I would call “Procida continental” with locally made pastries and cake, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee. Our host was a beautiful, charming more senior lady, with a couple of younger helpers. If you are from and english speaking country brush up on your Italian or have your phrase app handy as their english isn’t good but better than my Italian (l’m in Italy, so that’s ok). I suspect don’t arrive before 4pm as I no one will be there. A wonderful experience I hope to pass this way again. The wifi is a bit crap but mobile coverage is fine.

Lovely breakfast, can socialise with other guests if you choose or the outside terrace is beautiful. The property has lots of character, the furniture is unique, the pictures are very accurate - it was quiet, clean, comfortable and bright. Aircon in our room was wonferful for a warm September. WiFi works well in the communal. The host and staff were very helpful. Previous reviews are very unfair - this is a unique stay, a more traditional B&B style property and atmosphere. We would return.

Sistemazione consigliata a chi vuole fare un soggiorno diverso, che sappia apprezzare la bellezza di una dimora d’epoca. La colazione è appagante anche a livello visivo…..con la visione della terrazza in stile marocchino e la tavola apparecchiata in modo colorato ed elegante.
• Thierry (10/5): - Une très agréable surprise dans un endroit absolument magnifique et plein de charme. Il est situé à deux pas de Marina di Corricella, le plus beau spot de l’ile.. L’endroit est magique, spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et surplombe un joli champ d’agrumes. Le petit déjeuner est somptueux que ce soit sur une très agréable terrasse ou dans une très belle salle à manger. Les hôtes ne lésinent pas sur les quantités et la variété des spécialités italiennes. A réserver sans hésitation plutôt 2 nuits (voire plus) plutôt qu’une pour profiter pleinement de l’île.
• paola (10/5): Un gioiello nel centro di Procida - Casa Bormioli è una splendida residenza di charme nel cuore di Procida. Elegante e finemente arredata con un terrazzo che affaccia in un giardino di limoni dal quale si vede il mare. Le camere sono ben decorate, molto silenziose e spaziose con bagni coloratissimi. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile per ogni esigenza. Ottima anche la colazione, molto varia, con prodotti tipici e locali. La tassa di soggiorno è compresa nel prezzo (e viene pagata direttamente dalla struttura). Una location di classe piena di storia nel centro storico dell'isola. Ci torneremo!

• Randy_W (4/5): Not at all what was advertised - First, the only reason i am giving this a 3 is because the people that work there were so nice. On the web site it showed a pool with a nice garden, it also listed it as a hotel. When we arrived, it is not a hotel, its rooms inside a persons home that you access through the garage. Most importantly, there was NO pool nor garden. The owner was an older woman who we had to walk around while doing her Yoga in the middle of the floor and then, getting her pedicure in the breakfast area. I booked this hotel wanted to relax on the side of a nice pool on the island and have the option to go to the beach and come back to a pool ...... no such luck, very dissappointing after such a long trip to get there. I feel i was 100% misled by the hotel and the booking of this hotel on this web site. Regards,
