• z (8/5): Coed bathroom. Difficult to change clothes for he shower. Good location. - Good location. Large kitchen area. Friendly staff who speaks good English. No food/drink allowed in the rooms. I'm on the 4th floor. If Ineed a drink, had to walk all the way down and then back up. No clothes lines to hang laundry. The bathroom is coed, and shower stalls are so small, thay it's impossible to change withoit hetting wet.

Todas as funcionárias do hostel (Luma, Samara, Priscila, Ediane e Catarina) são excelentes em promover um ambiente agradável, limpo, lúdico e, principalmente, enriquecedor culturalmente. Elas sempre forneceram dicas sobre gastronomia, fotografia, eventos etc. Experiência Incrível. Recomendo mil vezes! A minha viagem acabou! Hahahahahahaha...

• Coline (10/5): - La chambre était grande et spacieuse avec un balcon où il était possible de faire sécher du linge. Les lits étaient confortables et les casiers grands. L'auberge proposait des social dinner le soir cuisiné par un chef ce qui permettait de rencontrer d'autres personnes de l'auberge. L'auberge est très bien situé à moins de 10min de la gare Sao Bento. J'ai été accueillie au check in avec un verre de Porto, une façon très sympathique pour souhaiter la bienvenue ! Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur et je n'avais pas connaissance de l'information auparavant. Les lits bougent beaucoup et certains lits du haut avaient leurs barrières mal fixées ou cassées.

• Romana (8/5): Quiet place close to the centre, super nice staff. - The hostel is in an excellent location, while close to the party zone, the place is very calm even during the night. The place was clean and everything I needed for a one-night stay was ready. All the staff I met was super friendly, not only the communicative receptionist but also the cleaning ladies who assisted me when I needed even though it wasn’t their job, I suppose. It’s visible that the equipment has been used for a while. A small makeover would do the job.

• Alejandra Ramírez B (7/5): Good stay - I thought it was perfect that you can use a locker to leave your luggage while you wait to check in. The staff were friendly. Especially the Sâo Paulo girl in charge of cleaning in the morning. The room was comfortable and had enough space to store. I found it helpful to have an extension cord near the bed and a light near the headboard so I wouldn't have to leave the room light on for other people who might be sleeping. The curtains also provide some privacy. The kitchen had enough room and had everything necessary to use it. The bathrooms are nice and clean. It was very easy to get around from there. It's not too close to the center (so there's no street noise) and it's close enough to walk there. There is more than one bus route that will drop you off near the hostel. I loved that there was a clothesline to hang up wet clothes. Perhaps the hotel's inner courtyard could use a little more attention. It has some furniture, but it has a lot of potential for improvement. Strongly advise other people staying there to remember that it is a shared space, so after certain hours loud conversations, rough movements of luggage and turning on the general light disturbs other people who are sleeping. I wish there were more clotheslines. The ones there were fine, but not enough for eight people in one room.

• Iris (9/5): Best place to stay in Porto - Had the best stay in Porto Lounge Hostel & Guesthouse! I initially booked a dorm room, but I'm a light sleeper and the hostel is pretty noisy because of wooden floors and creaky beds, so I switched to a solo room, which was arranged within minutes. All the staff is super friendly and the outside space is really nice. The location is amazing, it's only a walk down the street to the center and there's good restaurants and bars very close by. Would definitely book again if I come back to Porto!
