• Candela (8/5): - La ubicación, sin estar en el centro gracias al bus y metro se llegaba a todos lados muy rápidamente lo cual ayuda mucho. Una de las habitaciones estaban fuera con respescto a las demás, eso auqnue no es un problema era un poco raro. Pero el lugar genial.
• Stefan (2/5): Nie wieder - Zweite Bettdecke da, obwohl es nur ein Einzelbett gab. Kaltes Zimmer - Heizung aus und nicht möglich, Wärme ins Zimmer zu bekommen. Zweite Bettdecke war notwendig. Kein warmes Wasser im Bad. Beides laut Aushang im Hausflur bereits länger der Fall. Dies liegt ggf. an der Stadt, darüber müssen Gäste m.E. aber vor der Buchung bzw. vor der Anreise informiert werden Bei der Buchung Bestätigung von booking.com bekommen, kurz darauf später die Nachricht: "Wenn Sie sicher sein wollen, dass die Buchung bestätigt wurde, dann setzen Sie sich mit dem Vermieter in Verbindung!" Vermieter zunächst nicht erreichbar. Alles sehr kurios und nicht kundenfreundlich.

• Maria (2/5): Sehr einfach und kaputt. Nicht mit Liebe gemacht. Ausstattung mittelmäßig. Lage top! - Die Lage Viele Stellen hatten Machen. Die Badewanne war gerissen und mit Panzatape angeklebt. Kein Nachttisch am Bett, kein Licht zum Lessen. Mann bekommt nur einen Schlüssel muss diese aber zum Bad mitnehmen um daran zu kommen. Badezimmer häufig besetzt.

• Laurent (7/5): Bien. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Bon emplacement. Pas assez de salles de bain/WC. - La chambre et le bâtiment dans sont ensemble. Très bien, confortable et spacieux. Une seule salle de bain avec WC n'est pas suffisants au vu du nombre de chambres. Il faudrait au moins des toilettes séparées de la douche, voire idéalement plusieurs SDB et plusieurs WC.
• Ilenia (6/5): Apart from the shower incovenient the place is nice for young groups and individuals - The apartmanets are really nice and also the common room and the kitchen. Self Check in is easy to do but better to arrive not before the time. Unfortunately we had one of the only 2 showers broken, so it has been difficult to have shower in the morning. We were more than 10 person at the same time.

Für den Preis schon etwas mehr erwartet, aber froh gewesen überhaupt etwas relativ günstiges gefunden zu haben. WLAN war ziemlich lahm und für mich nicht zu gebrauchen...KO Kriterium für mich, aber beim Rest konnte man nicht wirklich meckern, daher ein solides Ausreichend 😅 Würde nur wegen WLAN dort nicht nochmal buchen.

Pga skimmelsvampen og det forfærdelige toilet måtte vi forlade lejligheden efter den første nat !

• Mandy (1/5): AVOID! – One of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. - Nothing! AVOID! – One of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. Located in a remote and uninviting part of Berlin, with little nearby, the apartment was far from what the name ‘Excellent Apartments’ implies. This was, without exaggeration, the biggest lie I have encountered in my 47 years of travel. I stayed one night with my children in Room 6 – which was located right next to a busy, loud road. The windows were bent inward and did not fully close, making it impossible to block out the traffic and street noise. We endured a night of constant noise – truly unbelievable. To make matters worse, there was only one shared toilet for all apartments. The bathtub was literally held together with black tape. The main apartment door slammed shut due to the absence of even a basic dampening mechanism – completely unacceptable for a place that calls itself ‘Excellent Apartments.’ These aren’t minor flaws – they reflect a clear lack of care, maintenance, and respect for guests. When I contacted the property, I was told that noise wouldn’t be an issue “with the windows properly closed.” Given that the windows were damaged and couldn’t close fully – their response was nothing but dismissive and rude, and they refused any form of refund. I expected a comfortable and restful place to stay with my children. Instead, I experienced discomfort, negligence, and total disregard from the host. Travelers beware – this place is nowhere near ‘excellent’ – the name is completely misleading!
• Mitzi (3/5): Good location, poor facilities with known historicall bathroom problems when I arrived - The location was the best for my needs on this trip. There is no staff on site except a cleaning person. They run this as a hostel with a few private rooms with two full bathrooms. One bathroom was not working five out of my six nights. they had to have some heavy machinery to drain the clogged water and it was so hot in the bathroom that you couldn’t use the toilet, therefore two large hostel rooms three private rooms, possibly 12 or more people had to share one shower. This is inappropriate, and certainly was not worth the cost. Along with the poor plumbing problems the bathtub was actually cracked and they put duct tape on it which did nothing so the water leaked out all over the floor and you could not use the shower. I will be requesting reimbursement for them not providing the facilities that were quoted.

The common areas included a common room to eat, play and study and a functional kitchen It was not possible to leave the luggages after the checkout, as the place didn't have a reception

This place is not clean and is not worth the price. - Received new bed sheets after I have sent an email that there was a chewing gum on my pillow. There was a chewing gum on my pillow. There were two big red spots (blood stains?) on the floor which they tried to cover under the bin. There was mold on the curtains. The holders of the big curtains were not stable enough anymore to properly close them. There was mold in the bathroom. When other people took a shower in the bathroom close to the entrance, the water just flowed into the corridor. You do not have a private bathroom. The WiFi was really bad. I could not even open my mail. This place is too expensive for what they offer. The bed and the pillows are uncomfortable. There is a strange smell in the room when you enter it.

• Marco (1/5): Bad - There is a copious amount of toxic mould on the ceiling of the first bathroom. This is also commonly known as black mould, and it is toxic to humans. I attach a picture taken from the ceiling on the first bathroom by the entrance. The second bathroom is slightly better at the moment, but it already also shows significant signs of mould build up. This level of black mould is a very serious health hazard, it is not fit for human habitation, and should be remedied immediately. This has been amply reported by other reviewers and I also reported to the owners/managers directly, who are clearly aware of this, but choose to ignore all feedback and do nothing about this issue.

• Eleonora (1/5): Worst experience I’ve ever had. Do not book this. This should be illegal. - Absolutely nothing good. Do NOT book this. You will be put in an apartment with other people and share a single bathroom with SO many people you won’t know about. The photos are old. They don’t represent at all what you will see. The outside is worn out, homeless camp right under the bathroom window. We were told there were two shared bathrooms but when we arrived one was so infested with mold it wasn’t usable for more than a minute. We had to share one bathroom with so many other guests they didn’t tell us about. The rooms are full of dust, cobwebs, lights that don’t work, dirty DIRTY chairs, in 10 days we saw only one cleaner, the fridge and kitchen is full of moldy food, broken cabinets, dishes are cleaned by guests, faucet doesn’t work properly as well as the shower head.

• Thi (6/5): Pleasant - The position is oki, near Ubahn, very convenient for travel around the city and commute the airport The apartment located in an old building with wood stairs that make sound and noises when someone go up or down. The corridor to the apartment is dark, quite difficult to open the door with old- fashion keys. Neighborhood is quiet, just a few people at night. There is a very run-down house next to with mostly Arabic men, it is not oki if you are woman! During stay in there, I am alone so that I am so scared and worried about the safe. Luckily, everything is oki!
• Shalenys (6/5): It's just okay - Well located, near metro/train station, 50 min walking from the central station (Hbf). The double room has a good size, and the possibility to cook is good. Towels are also provided. Good communication with the personal to solve some issues! Also good communication at the beginning with information in advance to get to the place. We didn't hear much noise from the street, only from the guests when someone walked to the bathroom. I think this apartment is overall acceptable for short stays. The bathrooms have mold. I realized that when the neighbors above use the shower, then the roof gets damp and leaks... And it happens right over the bathroom light... Also the light stopped working so everyone at the hotel had to use only one of the two bathrooms. The apartment requires more attention from the staff, especially with the cleaning: during the days we stayed the bathrooms were not cleaned and the waste bins never got empty.
• Lara (1/5): Garbage. - Nothing. DISGUSTING!!! Horrible. The bathrooms are absolutely volatile. Black mold and cobwebs everywhere, leaky ceiling, no drains on the floor. Water gets everywhere and there is one dirty bath mat thats brown from dirt. Hair all over the place, during my 5 nights stay the bathrooms were cleaned only once and yet still remained dirty. Worst of all our room was on the outside of the actual apartment facility (room 6). Our room opened to the stairwell(!!!) we had to go outside just to use the bathroom... This was conveniently not advertised because if I had known I never would have booked this place. Moreover the locks need to be fixed, it was super annoying just to use the doors. Overall unacceptable experience. Stay away from this place!!!!!

• Rosie (10/5): Great place to stay with friends - Me and my group of friends had a blast here! We stayed 5 nights all in the same room, bed bunks for 6 adults, it was like a sleepover and we all kinda vibed with this place a lot. We played jigsaws and board games we found in the common room until 4 am, we never cooked food but the kitchen seemed decent and if we had planned better would have loved using the big dinning room. We didnt bump into anyone else staying there so it felt like we had this huge space to ourselves. The beds were fine, not the worlds comfiest but for a couple nights it was ok. Really quiet despite us thinking the nearby road would be noisy..it wasnt! We are all planning on a berlin trip again next year and I would certainly look at this place again if it was available! One of the beds was sort of broken..like the wooden slats kept moving. I dont think it was a major issue but on the last night it gave way while we were asleep so not great for the person fast asleep in that bed! Literally just needs screwing in/fixing up.

Dirty entrance and not safe atmosphere. Very old place, need renovation, the floor creaked all the time when someone was passing by next to my room, the walls are very thin. Overall I would not stay there again, especially for this price for one room with shared bathroom...

• Diana (9/5): family trip - It had a ramp from the other side of the house, so I could enter with the baby stroller. everything was very clean. has a big kitchen and you can use it and also put your stuffs in the fridge without problem.. the room had a strange smel, maybe the carpet was old.

Fortunately, there is no shortage of places to eat in Berlin. Everything was from the 80's, with carpet on the floor which I don't think had ever been dry cleaned. The shower had no wall fixing and it was impossible to wash properly.

• Roisin (5/5): Okay - Good location Booked a triple room only to find 2 beds made up. When booking we made the mistake of selecting 2 guests which is our fault. However we asked the staff if an extra bedding set could be provided and they said nothing could be done that night as it was after check in hours and we have to change our booking on booking.com for the next day. Tried to amend the booking on the site but it would not let adjustments be made. Overall it was our mistake selecting 2guests (room price is the same for 3 guests as it is for 3 so we did not try to under pay ). However the hosts could have been a bit more helpful and provided extra bedding for the following night
• Belen (7/5): Good - The room is big; the kitchen is a plus and the price In summer you don’t have a fan or a/c super hot, no ventilation. Next to the building are a lot homeless so it kind feel not safe to open the windows. The was not fork in the kitchen

Doors were very hard to open, and you had to unlock multiple doors to get to the bathroom or kitchen. Location was slightly dodgy.

• Ernst (9/5): Superb - Nicely refurbished old building with cosy and clean apartments. Stay there if you don't mind sharing a kitchen and dining hall with other polite inhabitants. Public transport is just 2 minutes away from the house. We succeeded to park our car for free in nearby streets. A bit noisy traffic in surrounding streets.

• Amir (6/5): Old building, good location, a bit overpriced, needs better cleaning, overall ok experience! - Overall it was good. I specially liked the location as it was close to public transportation and most attractions. I didn't like that there was a homeless camp right behind this building and you could hear their noise from the bathroom window. The kitchen could be also a bit cleaner. There was no shampoo and barely any hand soap in the bathroom. The price was also quite high for its value. I would say it should really be at least 20% lower. The pillow was probably a hundred years old and not comfy at all. There were spider webs all over the ceiling inside the room. Again, if it were not that expensive, I would be fine with everything, but given the price I paid, I expected a better experience.

• Azur (6/5): Pleasant - Quite easy access from the bus terminal or to the airport by metro and quite close to the metro station. The property is on the 1st floor. Rather big dining room and kitchen which has games and books. The room size just a good size, and has a big desk . There were a desk lamp(this did not work), a bed side lamp and a big side lamp. The shower temperature and pressure were good and there is a bath tub which you can take a bath. Good quality towels. The kitchen did not seem very clean. For me, the quilt was too light and not enough, a bit cold but could not find extra quilt.
