cristina (6/5): Per essere un 4 stelle mi aspetto una cura nei dettagli - Il personale molto ospitale e gentile, efficienti nelle richieste! Trovo scomode alcune soluzioni della camera. Dalla porta che si chiude con difficoltà (mi sono fatta male e si è rotto l’anello). La porta che si apre sul wc, l’entrata nel bagno davanti all’entrata della doccia e il lavandino fuori poteva essere ben implementata nel bagno stesso.

Beat (9/5): Herzhaftes schmuckes Hotel ausserhalb der Stadt. Gut mit dem Motorrad erreichbar. - Die Lage ist oberhalb im Rebberg an ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer ist nett eingerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Aussenpool ist zwar klein, reicht aber für 4 Personen aus. war alles so wie wir es und gewohnt sind.

EyesworldID (10/5): The best of Valtellina - The biggest problem with staying at Ritizi Balzi is leaving. The experience is truly 5 star. Armando, his wife and the entire team make you feel like part of the family and the service is exceptional. The view from the comfortable lobby, breakfast room and the balcony in our room is stunning. Our room (Superior Double) and bathroom was spotless and very comfortable. Convenient parking and location is great for exploring the Valtellina. The best restaurant in the area - Il Poggio - is next door. The excellant breakfast features many treats including local artisan cheeses, fresh eggs, home baked pasties and fresh squeezed orange juice. So enjoyable to return to the hotel after dinner for a digestivo and admire the lights of Sondrio below. Many thanks to Marianna, Carmen, Claudia and Tonita for taking such good care of us.

Samantha (10/5): - A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. The omelette was delicious and made from organic eggs that have a story all to themselves. The team who looked afye ua could not be more friendly with great english as well. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more nights here at the Wine Hotel and next time take the opportunity to enjoy the spa and hot tub. Thank you ❤️

Alle Mitarbeitenden überzeugen durch Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und mit qualitativ hochstehenden Produkten bestückt. Wir haben eine Weinverkostung gebucht, die sehr aufschlussreich war und uns einen anderen Zugang zu den lokalen Weinen ermöglichte. Da das benachbarte Restaurant ausgebucht war, wurden wir mit ausgezeichneten Adressen aus der Umgebung versorgt und haben sehr gut gegessen. In der Hochsaison ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas hoch.

Dario (8/5): - Piccolo hotel sulle colline appena sopra Sondrio, con una bella vista sui vigneti sottostanti. Il personale è gentilissimo ed attento ad ogni esigenza. Le camere sono graziose e sempre pulite, e dato il ridotto numero di camere il posto rimane abbastanza riservato e mai affollato. Bella anche la yacuzzi esterna (inclusa) e la possibilità di riservare la piccola spa interna ad uso privato (extra), che tuttavia offre in più solo una sauna e la privacy, e che potrebbe essere potenziata per giustificare il prezzo.

Rooms have a "mountain decor" and are spacious, functional, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is delicious, providing delicious homemade and local products. She gave me precious information about the surroundings and restaurants. The room was super cosy and the terrace view is marvellous. Outdoor jacuzzi with the mountain and vineyards view is like a dream. The quality of service provided is better than in some 5* hotels. I will come back for sure. And another big GRAZIE to Carmen (breakfast) and her colleagues and the room service lady who cleaned my room. She was very polite and didn't forget to say goodbye to me. Small details BIG impact ! awbstl (10/5): Beautiful location, but a bit outside of Sondrio - This 4 star hotel is located up on the mountain side about 10 minutes from the center of Sondrio in Poggiridenti. It looks out to to a beautiful view of the Fume (River) Adda valley and the Bergamo Alpi (Alps). The owner and his family provide a warm welcome. (Someone complained and gave a lower rating because they did not have help getting their luggage to their room, but it is a small hotel - 11 rooms, and this seems petty.) The rooms were comfortable and clean, with comfortable beds. There is a very comfortable common area, also looking out to the valley. We had a very nice wine tasting of Valtellina wines - an important reason to come to this area. Breakfast is very good. There is a nice restaurant with a terrace looking out to the valley just below the hotel and other interesting restaurants are nearby in Tresivio and Sondrio. Castello Grumello is nearby to explore. There are other amenities offered for a self indulgent stay. We very much recommend this property.
