Check in was a little late if you had an early flight but they were helpful and gave us a late checkout as I had a child with me .

Kein Problem, dass das Hotel im "Rotlichtviertel" liegt. Wir waren mit der Familie dort und fühlten uns stets sicher. Hellhörig. Ohrstöpsel empfohlen.

We traveled as a family, including two elderly adults, and the service was amazing from the very beginning. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, assisting us in getting a more accessible room so they could be more comfortable. The reception manager was especially kind and attentive, and the entire staff was always willing to help with anything we needed. We truly appreciated the care and willingness to help from the whole team. Overall, we had a great experience, really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely stay here again.

Comunicarse con ellos es prácticamente imposible, llamé varias veces sin respuesta, y la única vez que contestaron fue alguien sumamente grosero que me dijo que estaba ocupado, que no podía hablar, y me colgó. Si piensan alojarse aquí, rueguen no tener ningún inconveniente con su reserva, porque gestionarla es una pesadilla. Cero flexibilidad y cero disposición para ayudar. No lo recomiendo.

La habitación estaba limpia, cómoda y muy bien cuidada. Lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue la atención del manager: absolutamente diligente, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Desde antes de la llegada estuvo pendiente de todo, respondió rápido y nos hizo sentir muy bien recibidos. Am Abend und in der Nacht aufgrund der zentralen Lage und Nähe zu Bars/Rotlichtviertel eher laut. Dies auch aufgrund der alten und teils undichten Fenster. Das Hotel ist eher alt und teils nicht mehr top in Schuss.

The weekend we were there, it was 73 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius) and we learned that the hotel only turns on their AC in July and August. We were so hot! The hotel staff told us to buy a fan. 😑 the room had terrible ventilation so the fans didn’t even help. We tried to get in contact with the hotel for a refund due to the poor conditions but they didn’t answer Expedia’s calls so we got stuck paying $1000 for hell. We needed it staying at a different hotel because of how uncomfortable hot it was in the room. No one was helpful. The room was EXTREMELY small! It says double but that ment double bed. If anyone is larger than 175 lbs, I would not recommend staying here. There is very little space! I am 165 with normal size hips but had a hard time getting around the bathroom.

Na ulici je nekaj barčkov in restavracij. Soba je bila izredno majhna, dostop do nje po zelo strmem stopnišču. Tla pod ležišči so bila zelo prašna, dnevno čiščenje sobe enkrat sploh ni bilo opravljeno. Okna in kopalnica v ubogem stanju.

Special thanks to the lovely Tami from the reception :) There was a slight difference in the service we received — the front desk women were less friendly, while the men at reception were more welcoming and polite. A hook for hanging towels in the bathroom is a basic feature that was missing :)

Die deutschen Fernsehkanäle haben nicht funktioniert. Die Toilettenbrille war gebrochen. Das Zimmer ist extrem klein. Der Preis ist für die gebotene Leistung zu hoch.

Es befindet sich in einem typischen Amsterdamer Haus – schmal gebaut und teilweise mit sehr engen Platzverhältnissen, insbesondere im Bad. Das Gebäude ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt immer wieder kleinere bauliche Massnahmen. Auch der Preis für die Übernachtung ist – wie in Amsterdam üblich – eher hoch. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch die Freundlichkeit des Personals sowie den unkomplizierten Umgang. Man merkt, dass Wert darauf gelegt wird, das Gebäude laufend instand zu halten. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Der Preis für das was man hat.

One of the highlights was the large windows, which offered a lively and enjoyable view of the busy street below. The location was excellent, right in the heart of a vibrant area. Everything we needed—including restaurants, grocery stores, and tram stations—was within easy walking distance. Its proximity to Amsterdam Central made getting around the city very convenient. Overall, a great experience and a convenient place to stay for families visiting Amsterdam One small suggestion for improvement would be the addition of complimentary water bottles in the room, which would make the stay even more comfortable for guests. Additionally, as is common with many Amsterdam properties, there is no lift available. However, this was not an issue for us—the stairs were manageable, even with luggage, and it’s something quite typical for buildings in the area.

- HANNA (8/5): Perfect spot for exploring, but be prepared for noise - I stayed here with my three children of different ages, and the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Amsterdam. The staff was very polite and welcoming. A huge highlight for the kids was the steep, traditional staircase — even after long, tiring walks, they had so much fun climbing it! The room was very clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels provided every day. The bathroom was spotless, surprisingly spacious, and there was always hot water, which I really appreciated. The room was very cramped for me and my three children. There was no wardrobe or storage space, so our suitcases had to stay in the walkway area, making it inconvenient to move around. As a suggestion, it would be great to have a kettle in the room for tea or coffee. Also, because the hotel is in the very heart of the city, it was extremely noisy all night long. In the early morning, we were woken up by the loud city cleaning trucks. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for constant noise.

- GUADALUPE (8/5): CORRECTA - Un hotel muy bien ubicado. La habitación era grupal de 6, igual algo pequeña para tantas personas. Las camas eran de 80 cm, pueden resultar pequeñas. El baño muy bien. Te guardan el equipaje. Nosotros estuvimos alojados en la segunda planta, no dispone de ascensor. Las camas podrían ser más grandes.
