The bathroom and shower were also very good. The bed was comfortable and the cleaners made sure the room was clean every day. The curtains perhaps let in too much light at night but this is a minor negative.

• ToyStory (10/5): Great hotel, lovely local location - We booked this hotel due to its location and it did not disappoint, as the location was perfect for us. Facilities Our room was situated on the 3rd floor and there was a lift. The room smelt very fresh and clean when we walked in. It was extremely clean and looked well maintained. We had a room with a balcony and if you leaned out you could just about see the sea. As the room looked out over a main road it was very noisy at times, but we love people watching so it was great for us. However, though the windows do help minimise the noise, if you are a light sleeper you may wish to request a room at the back of the hotel as the road noise doesn't die down until about 11.30am. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels left. The entrance and reception area was also very clean. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine as we were there celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a really lovely touch. We were room only, so cannot comment on breakfast. Though the restaurant looked very nice when I popped my head in. They have a lounge area which is very chic, and also an outside garden area. They allowed us to store our cases, but as it was only a very small store room, in high season it may not be possible. Across the road was a coffee bar, so great to pop over to and grab a coffee/tea as there was no kettle in the room. There was a fridge, which had a freezer compartment so great for freezing our water ready for the next day, so we had ice cold water all day. Location The hotel is located approximately 25 to 30 mins walk from old town and the nearest beach. Though when chatting and walking it doesn't feel that long. There are lots of local restaurants near, and these were very authentic (locals ate in them) and very reasonable compared to eating in the old town. We loved being in the heart of where local people live and worked, so the hotel was perfect for us. If you want a pool, 5 minute walk to the beach and all inclusive, this is not the hotel for you. If you just want a clean bed, nice staff and close walking distance to local tavernas and restaurants then this is the hotel for you.

Τουλάχιστον δεν θα έπαιρνα πρωϊνό και σίγουρα θα ζήταγα άλλο δωμάτιο! - Η τοποθεσία ήταν οκ, καθώς ήταν κοντά στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου στο οποίο είχα μεταβεί για εκπαιδευτικό συνέδριο. Όλο το προσωπικό ήταν ευεγενέστατο και πολύ φιλικό πρόθυμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει. Κατά αρχήν το δωμάτιο, δεν ήταν προορισμένο για δωμάτιο μάλλον ήταν αποθήκη το οποίο επιβεβαιώνεται από το γεγονός ότι δεν είχε νούμερο.. Βασικά είχε ένα μικρό παράθυρο και το κρεβάτι ήταν σχεδόν σφηνωμένο ανάμεσα σε δυο τοίχους και δεν μπορούσες να ανέβεις παρά μόνο από την πίσω πλευρά... Το wifi ποτέ δεν λειτούργησε! Το πρωϊνό ήταν απελπιστικά απλό και παρατήρησα ότι την δεύτερη ημέρα ήταν ακριβώς το ίδιο όπως το είχα παρατηρήσει την πρώτη ημέρα. Οι ποσότητες ήταν ελάχιστες, αλλά δεν γνωρίζω αν ήμουν και ο μοναδικός ένοικος..

• LynC131 (10/5): Lovely hotel - We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are really friendly and helpful and very kind and understanding. The room was clean with good air conditioning. We stayed on a room only basis but when one morning a storm hit and we couldn't leave the hotel they were happy to make us up toasted sandwiches. The bottle of wine for our anniversary was a lovely touch. There are several coffee shops very close by and it is an easy and pleasant walk to the old town and to bus stops for the rest of the island.

• Gareth (9/5): Great Hotel - This is my second stay at Hotel Galaxias. It has everything I need for an enjoyable stay in Rhodes. The room was a good size. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well each night. The room was roadside but the soundproofing is excellent. I was not disturbed. The bathroom and shower are good. AC in the bedroom was good. Breakfast had a range of food and was of a good standard. It set me up for the day. There is an internal breakfast room but also an outside garden which is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the start of the day. The location is ideal. 20 minutes walk into the Old Town. 20 minutes walk to the beach. 25 minutes walk to the Ancient Theatre and Monte Smith which is a lovely place to visit and learn some local history. Also if you carry on walk up to the top of the hill you will get to see one of the most fantastic places to see a sunset. With this all said. The thing that stands out for me in Galaxias is the staff. They are welcoming, friendly, efficient, informative and always willing to help. Nothing.

Colazione abbondante e buona. Nella colazione era incluso solo caffè americano, per espresso bisognava pagare a parte. Nonostante nella descrizione mettesse che la stanza fosse insonorizzata, si sentiva il traffico anche con finestra chiusa e dalla porta della stanza potevamo sentire l'ascensore e le persone, e vedevamo la luce da sotto la porta.

• sstavraki (7/5): - Το προσωπικό ευγενικό με χαμόγελο, το δωμάτιο και οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι καθαροί. Η αλήθεια ήταν λίγο μακρυά από την πόλη, κυκλοφορουσαμε με τα πόδια. Η περιοχή δεν έχει καταστήματα κοντά, ένδυσης, υπόδησης ή κάποιο μωλλ για να περάσεις την ώρα σου. Το να πηγαίνεις κάθε μέρα στην παλιά πόλη, όπου όλα τα μαγαζιά (ειδικά εστίασης) ήταν πανάκριβα, δεν ήταν ότι καλύτερο. Εισήγηση στο δωμάτιο καλό θα ήταν καλό να υπήρχε βραστήρας κ φακελάκια καφέ, κάποια μικρά γαλατακια εβαπορέ, συνήθως τα ξενοδοχεία το παρέχουν αυτό.

• Van Wely (9/5): Klein maar fijn, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt en een fijne sfeer omringd door fijn personeel - De gastvrijheid was erg fijn, we werden altijd vriendelijk ontvangen en het personeel was ook altijd behulpzaam. Daarnaast is het een klein maar fijn hotel, waar alles aanwezig was wat je nodig hebt. De douches waren aan de smalle kant, wat soms een beetje oncomfortabel was. Ook werden de handdoeken niet altijd vervangen als deze op de grond werden gelegd, dus moesten we bij de receptie vragen om nieuwe.

I particularly appreciated the staff who were extremely sweet and made sure I felt welcome and gave a damn good introduction to Rhodes and what to do and not do. Katia at reception was not only warm and welcoming, but also incredibly helpful with her thoughtful recommendations. Her kindness made us feel right at home, which we deeply appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient — just a short drive from the city centre, or about a 25-minute walk to the Old Town. We were genuinely sad to leave, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rhodes.

• danielbF5725CW (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU ARE RICHER THAN USUAL. - I was with me ex who tried to use fake accusations in the court to take money from me - I’m self made millionaire. They treat me like a trash, kick out from the hotel and DONT WANT TO LISTEN AT ALL MY SIDE. They blindly believe in woman cry. My case has been dismissed and I found NOT GUILTY. AVOID cause can cost you reputation, money and stress. I can prove eveything if needed. Check court cases and talk to the police. I hope karma returns as always.
• ELENI (10/5): Eleni-Cyprus/Lim. - Very nice atmosphere, clean hotel, very good breakfast, excellent service from a very friendly staff, ready at all times to help with everything! During my stay I happened to see Katia at the reception several times. So helpful even drawings routes. The information brochure about Rhodes given by the reception it was very helpful. I wish there was a kettle in the room.
• Juri (10/5): - Few minutes walking to the old city, ruins of the old acropolis and scenic cliffs in easy walking range, restaurents and supermarket around the corner. The Room was fairly large, perfectly clean and the bed compfortable. Very nice was having a kitchen-sized fridge: with the supermarket nearby all the cold drinks, fresh fruit,... needed to feel at home.

• Daniel (1/5): Thieves, liars and people without honor. - When I left the hotel. Galaxias Galaxias Hotel My name is Daniel Bugiel and I booked vacation in the Hotel from 16.07 till 26.07. I thought I can take a rest before I go public with my trading system, portfolio engine and financial services. Unfortunately my ex girlfriend put me into the situation when she tried to play me around, leave the country and take what’s mine including money I work hard over w decade. She convinced the owners I hit her, try to rape, block the way to take the baggage. The owners didn’t want to listen to my side. They treated me like a TRASH. They don’t want to listen to nothing, they automatically assume I’m guilty, put me down, remove me from hotel, call police (but next day morning, not the same day what everything “happens”). I WAS PUSHED around and ignored. Police take me from the airport, cause I didn’t have other options if they kicked me out from the hotel. My ex didn’t appear in the court. She lied and retread like a rat. I easily proved my point of view and justice has been served by High Court in Rhodes. It takes 2 minutes to close the case and clear me from the accusations. High Court find me NOT GUILTY (1man as a High Judge and 2 beautiful women as procurators/prosecutors). So I was not judged by man alone. Judge was highly disappointed how Hotel “handle” the situation - with emotions cause the crying woman and 2 old grandpas feel sorry for her and believed everything. NOT with logic and reason. They were wrong in so many levels and one thing they are the best - telling me to shut up and leave the hotel and ignores me. Police have been informed about it also. For 8hours they walk me around with handcuffs and put me everywhere and at the end RELEASE ME cause I’m NOT GUILTY. I sent message to the hotel about it and waiting for response. I gave them 2 options: 1. full money back what I paid. FULL + official “sorry” letter. Then we forgot about it cause all can make mistakes but the question is if you learn from them. 2.
• Ekin (7/5): - Otel fiyat performans açısından iyi diyebilirim. Biz oteli Old Town'da zannediyorduk ancak içinde değilmiş ama arabayla 5 dakika uzaklıkta. Yürümek içinse pek yakın sayılmaz. Otel personeli ve karşılama çok iyiydi. Hep güler yüzlü, yardım sever ve kibardılar. Otel kesinlikle temiz. Odada 3 kişi kaldığımız i.in kaldığımız tüm günler oda servisi almak zorunda kaldık ve hep tertemiz bulduk odamızı geldiğimizde. Kliması iyi çalışıyordu. Balkonu olması da güzeldi. Yataklar çok ama çok rahatsızdı. Her sabah sırtımız ve omuzlarımız ağrıyarak uyanıyorduk. Oda oldukça küçüktü. Dışarıdan çok modern olan ve girişi de oldukça bakımlı olan bu otelin odaları için maalesef aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim. Banyosu da oldukça küçüktü. Biraz iri bir insanın duş alması nerdeyse imkansız.

• Neil (10/5): - A lovely place to stay where you could be quiet and have space for yourself. The staff were first rate and considerate and were friendly without being intrusive. On arrival I was given advice and a print out of useful information which was very welcome. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was lovely. Ideal for a short or longer stay. In a quiet area but only fifteen minutes walk from the old town and amenities.

• Hasan (10/5): - Personel çok yardımsever, temizlik çok iyi, kahvaltı muhteşem, araç parkı için sıkıntı yok. Old towna gitmek için 15 dakika yürümek gerekiyor.

• Edina (9/5): Szuper hely ajánlanám másnak is. - Az ágynemű patyolat tiszta és fehér volt. Szoba és a fürdő tágas. Ez nekem nagyon fontos. Upgradet kaptunk ingyen. Gazdaságos szoba helyett standard szobát, aminek erkélye is volt. Hotel előtt lehet ingyen parkolni kocsival. Teljesen megfelelő volt 2 éjszakára, ajánlanám szívesen másnak is. Rodoszi vár nagyon hangulatos éttermekkel és bárokkal vant tele, mindkét este bementünk. Kicsit messzebb volt a központ, de nem volt vészes. Utolag vettem csak észre, hogy a gazdaságos szobában a 2 személyes ágy csak 135cm széles..Erre csak a foglalás visszaigazolásban hívják fel az ember figyelmét. Nem volt így baj, mert ingen kaptunk upgradet standard szobára. Felettünk nagyon zajos emberek laktak, de ez nem a hotel hibája.

• Marie (9/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Galaxias. Das Zimmer (Standard Room) hatte alles, was wir brauchten und die Mitarbeiter waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag geputzt und war sehr sauber.

Το δωμάτιο καθαρό, ησυχία καθολη τη διάρκεια της μέρας και της νύχτας, τα κορίτσια στην reception πολυ εξυπηρετικες, χαμογελάστες και πρόθυμες να δώσουν πληροφορίες και για το νησί γενικότερα. Δύο λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν την διαφορά!!! (η απλώστρα στο μπαλκόνι και η σιτα στην μπαλκονοπορτα) Η ντουζιέρα ήταν λίγο μικρή
