- Natalie (8/5): Beautiful, kid friendly place close to everything - Staff were very friendly. Rooms and pool were great. We had two rooms and one lost power for a few hours but was promptly sorted out by staff. Loads of free activities to do, just poorly advertised. A brochure in the room wouldve been great to take advantage of more of them! Location was great - everything you need within walking distance. The beds were hard, but that may be some people’s preference. Would’ve loved to have known about the free yoga, banana leaf activities and towel folding classes to take the kids to, but found out too late in our stay. Breakfast was Delish.

- Merelyne (10/5): Wonderful and Comforting Bali Experience - The hotel is exceptionally well located, directly in front of the kuta beach, making it perfect for surfing enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys quick beach getaways. The rooms were spotless, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. The pool area is also very clean and relaxing. What truly made our stay memorable was the staffs — incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and we genuinely had an amazing time throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beachfront experience.

- Kym (10/5): - We recently enjoyed a wonderful 23-night stay at Grand Istana Rama Hotel and could not be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. A very special thank you to Kiri, Kartu, Kezia and Manis, who were absolutely amazing throughout our stay — always warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel grounds were immaculate and beautifully maintained every day. We especially loved the superb gym, the relaxing pool area and the swim-up bar, which became one of our favourite places to unwind. One of the highlights of staying here was the daily in-house cultural activities. We loved learning more about Balinese culture through experiences such as making Canang Sari offerings, weaving with palm leaves and even making a kite. These thoughtful activities made our stay feel extra special and memorable. Our garden-view room with balcony was very comfortable, with cosy beds and a peaceful outlook over the squirrel tree, which we enjoyed watching each day. We highly recommend staying at GIRH not only for the wonderful atmosphere and exceptional staff, but also for its perfect location close to the beach, shops and everything you need in Kuta. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff at GIRH for making our stay so memorable 🙏
- Tara (10/5): Trip away - Absolutely lovely, we extended our stay by an extra night due to issues with flights and the hotel was extremely accommodating They include a 30 minutes massage with your booking, breakfast was brilliant, all the food was amazing, the pool is beautiful with plenty of sun loungers Absolutely loved our time here, we also walked to waterbom (waterpark) from the hotel and this only took 20 minutes The pillows are too large under your head but that's a personal preference and not a criticism of the hotel

Property also had a restaurant/bar on site which was convenient and the food was amazing. The staff were very accommodating and always willing to offer a hand. The pool was amazing, and had a great swim up bar. Also offered pool towels that you could check out and return when finished. The property also offered free 10 minute massages to showcase their amazing spa team they had on site. Perfect location and a good location to use after flying in late from overseas. The walk from main reception to the room that was up 3 flights of stairs was abit of a mission in the heat/humidity. The cocktails in the restaurant were far too strong and weren’t able to finish - Personal preference.

- Miss Melissa (8/5): Nice hotel but too pricey - A good selection of breakfast foods It is a lovely hotel, BUT, after looking around Kuta a bit more I found there were some other very nice hotels for a quarter of the price. So for that reason, I will be going elsewhere on my next trip to Bali.

Location is also quite good, Kuta beach is only few meters, but still we did not like the beach (garbage, anoying people), Mall is also near the hotel. For one night ok, but for holiday, please dont do it people, save your money. Room was below average. Nothing special. Extra boring. Also one light was not working at all, we have bought room with balcony for extra, useless, you have no view at all, one chair on balcony, like really? TV - on remote they say smart, its not smart, also no live tv, so TV basically useless as well. Complex is quite huge, so you will have to walk to your room, we were on 2nd floor without elevator. Breakfast far below average, buffets with many cheap options. This is 4 star hotel? It was not delicious and also everything looks bad, dirt everywhere. You can choose average egg benedict or avocado toasts, but we have waited for 20-25 min in average and there were no people. waffles like stone. only black coffee, only black tea. By the way buffets are near main street, in the evening there is disco, surrounding was kind of strange. Pool was boring. Big complex with average pool, we had better pool in Bali at 2-3 star hotels.

- bstevens1975 (9/5): Great stay as usual with some upgrades on the way. - Breakfast buffet was great as usual, BBQ buffet dinner was great, and all you can eat Dim Sum was a new addition; we loved it. Some works were going on with the installation of lifts to each building, which will be beneficial on our next visit. There was nothing we did not like; this is a favorite destination of ours each time we visit Bali.

Das Zimmer ist geräumig. Das Pool ist sauber und herrlich und das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war der Strand von Plastikmüll übersät, wurde ständig beseitig, aber leider vom Meer wieder neu abgespült.
