IE; s'mores, trail mix table, coffee on every floor. The front desk staff always greeted you with a smile. I can't think of anything.

Happy to answer any questions and explain about the area. The room is very large, clean, large and comfortable beds. In the dining room, in the afternoon free hot drinks, light refreshments. The breakfast is great compared to the United States. Large selection of yogurts, fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries and bananas) selection of breads. Literally everything you need for breakfast. The location of the hotel is really convenient, walking distance to the docks. In short, highly recommended

• Sheila (10/5): A delightful Bar Harbor Inn - The location was convenient (only a short drive to downtown), and the staff was helpful and congenial. I loved that on every floor they provided coffee and flavor infused water; the cucumber mint was so refreshing. Plus, in the evening we made our own s'mores in the dining area. The hikers especially appreciated the trail mix that they created themselves with the variety of snacks the hotel provided. The fresh fruit that was provided for breakfast is a small detail, but a lot of hotels do not serve it. The rest of the breakfast food was good and plentiful as well. What a lovely Inn. That I had to leave it.

Breakfast was phenomenal with fresh fruit, hot egg and meat choices that were varied, fresh bakery and great coffee. The breakfast staff were friendly and quick to replenish food items. Cookies or trail mix options were great surprise. The location had access to a great trail and was located close to Bar Harbor.

• Laurent (7/5): Well-located hotel, good breakfast, but rooms with poor soundproofing - The hotel is in a great location, just a few hundred meters from Bar Harbor and a few kilometers from the entrance to the national park. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was well laid out, with a large bathroom. The free parking in front of the hotel is very convenient. Finally, the breakfast is very good, featuring fresh fruits and a wide selection of savory and sweet options. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and the dining room is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the hotel isn't very well soundproofed. We could hear the neighbors, especially the ones above our room. The floorboards creaked every time someone walked above us, and it was often keeping us from sleeping. Unfortunately, these guests got up at 5:45 a.m. … yet, when we arrived at the hotel, we had specifically mentioned that we were very light sleepers and would have appreciated a room in a quiet part of the hotel. The person at the front desk didn’t change the room she had assigned us and left us in that ground-floor room (even though the hotel was barely full, being off-season). It’s a pity because she could have given us a room with no neighbors above nor around, or on a higher floor. Also, please note that the spa and hot tub don’t open before Memorial Day weekend (this was mentioned on the website, but we hadn’t noticed it before booking, that’s our fault). Finally, the hotel is quite expensive, but that’s generally the case with accommodations in Acadia; on the other hand, breakfast is included in the room rate, which is very convenient.

The included breakfast was more than sufficient for a day of hiking in Acadia. Every staff member we met were knowledgeable about the inn and local restaurants. Highly recommend the Acadia Inn. Honestly, I found nothing not to like.

It was wonderful. - I have to rave about a few things...first, the staff - everyone I spoke with from front desk to housekeeping to foods was happy and very accommodating. The room furnishings were like new, and the beds were the most comfortable we've had on our trip so far. Everything was spotlessly clean and I loved that any consumables were biodegradable or recyclable. And all the toiletries were organic!! The water quality was wonderful (we're picky). And the breakfasts were fantastic - there was so much to choose from including proteins that were delicious. I asked for guidance for dinners and we were sent to two wonderful places. And the location is very convenient to both the National Park and Bar Harbor, about 2 minutes either way. Hmmm. I'd definitely have liked an ice maker on the 2nd floor. And I would have loved a room with a walk in shower but those are getting a bit nit picky.

Between breakfast and s'mores night we felt fed and happy the whole time. Such an incredible experience for everyone. With the playground outside and coffee bar right outside our doors we all had what we needed to keep our weekend sane.

All open tables in breakfast room were dirty and trash overflowing in trash cans in breakfast room. Hot food was disappointing. Our room.
