• Marianne (7/5): Great location, very small room. - Great location, very good breakfast, pleasant staff. Room was very small (don't know if larger ones were available,) asked for a double bed, ended up with 2 singles. They were pretty stingy with the toiletries.

• Heike (9/5): Immer wieder gerne das Hotel und vor allem diese Umgebung. - Tolles Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis, herausragende Lage in einer schönen Umgebung mit netten Pubs und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, gute Anbindung über öffentliche Verkehrsmittel an alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Frühstück war doch sehr einseitig englisch (womit wir ja gerechnet hatten). Schön wäre es jedoch, es gäbe zumindest eine andere Sorte Tee ;)

• Barry (10/5): - Balmoral Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. We arrived early and were able to store our suitcases until check-in time. The complementary breakfast was good as well. We were happy with everything. It is good to know that the hotel is in two parts, across the street from each other. Check-in and breakfast are in the #156 building.
• David (5/5): - Very good location. Had to book in by 11pm, or hotel would be closed. Receptionist unable/unwilling to print off a VAT invoice. Breakfast was poor.
• Jacqualin (7/5): - Very well located. Close to Paddling station but also able to walk to Hyde Park, museums and Oxford Street without problem Bathroom was very small but adequate. Breakfast service finished very early so you miss it if you want a sleep-in.

• Klaas (8/5): Great location - The hotel is easy to reach by subway. Either Lancaster or Paddington. Beds comfortable and the people who run the hotel helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast. This is not a critique. When you are in town for a few days and just need a place to sleep. This is an excellent place. But don’t expect more than that and you won’t be disappointed.

• Emma (5/5): Basic facilities but very good location - Great location, just a short walk from Paddington station Our room was up 7 flights of stairs, no lift at the property. Breakfast was very basic. Toast, cornflakes, Cheerios, fruit or a cooked option that was only bacon, fried egg or beans and they’d run out of beans on one of the days.
• Pavle (10/5): - Izvrsna lokacija, blizu stanica podzemne i busa, i u svakom smo trenutku mogli stići do bilo koje željene lokacije. Također, osoblje hotela, pogotovo mladi recepcioner bilo je vrlo ljubazno i spremno pomoći. Soba, iako mala bila je dovoljna za naše potrebe, s posebnim naglaskom na čistoću koja je iznimna.. Jedini mali nedostatak je potreba za kojom utičnicom više, no i to bismo vjerojatno dobili da smo pitali na recepciji.

• Floor (6/5): Prima hotel op super locatie - Locatie: zeer dichtbij station Paddington (fijn voor onze doorreis naar Oxford en goede verbindingen). Vriendelijk personeel. Het was prima. Geen luxe of extra’s. Geen heel mooi interieur. Wat ons betreft prima voor 1 of 2 nachten.

• Anna-Karin (5/5): Bra läge- ok hotell - Läget var bra. Vi bodde högt upp och fick släpa väskor upp för många smala trappor. Ganska lyhört i byggnaden. Frukost serverades bara 7.00-8.30 vilket gjorde att det blev mycket trångt i matsalen.

Two buildings so reception and breakfast would be served in one building on one side of the road, but your accommodation could be jn the building on the other side of the road. Small bathroom sink. No lift which is understandable for an older building.

• Claire (6/5): Ok - Good location Don’t stay here if you struggle with stairs. No lift and lots of very steep stairs. We were on the top floor. We also had concerns there was no fire escape and fire procedure seemed very vague.

Internet działał. Blisko knajpki w których można było zjeść. Mozna tez zostawic bagaz Łazienka niezbyt duża i problem z zamykaniem kabiny. Waskie korytarze i pokój ze stara wykładziną.

• Julie (3/5): Clean and tidy hotel, Receptionist Flavio very helpful but the room was unacceptable. - The receptionist Flávio was charming helpful and professional the room was a huge disappointment because:- The twin beds had been positioned so you could not sit up in bed because of the sloping roof. They should and could have been positioned on the flat wall side. -extremely uncomfortable not to be able to sit up in bed There was plenty of room for two bedside tables instead there was only one tiny bedside table for two people There were no hooks on the back of any of the doors and no chair to put clothes on No sound proving someone could hear what was being said in the next room which was a problem when they talk loudly and came back late at night The pressure of the water because room 19 is right at the top of the annex hotel across the road was very poor. So the water dribbled out of the tap. The en suite was so small that one could only just turn round in front of the basin The room was right at the top of the house and that was not explained when the room was allocated.

Nei dintorni ci sono negozi, ristoranti, bar e tutto il necessario. stanza piccolina ma con tutto l’essenziale. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare Flavio, persona molto cordiale e simpatica. Nulla, tutto ottimo

• MEISTER (7/5): - Unkompliziertes und zügiges Check Out. Die Betten dürften mal ersetzt werden. Der Aufbau ist teils ziemlich schäbig.
• MEISTER (7/5): - Nähe der Grünanlagen. Gut zu erreichen via Paddington. Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Frühstück schlicht, aber gut. Extrem lärmige Strasse bis etwas nach Mitternacht (Sirenen und Hupen). Danach wird der Strassenlärm weniger. Unter den Betten war es dreckig. Viel zu hell im Zimmer durch die Korridorbeleuchtung, die rund um die undichte Tür ins Zimmer dringt.

Located close to main line and tube stations. Staff friendly. Close to many restaurants for evening meal. There was a little noise from what I assume was tube trains passing close by.

• Platt (1/5): NO FUER USE ? - The Room had no Bedside tables, a small cupboard/Bathroom ? It was so small that if you are sitting on the toilet, you could lean forward and shower your hair as it was so close, your knees are only 1ft 6in away from the shower unit. Now for the SINK, which was more like a small Finger Bowel/Hand bowl, which you had to manipulate your body to pass it to sit on the so-called toilet, and the sink outlet was so dirty & the overflow outlet was also disgusting But the light in the BATHROOM did not work when staff were told it was an ACORD SWITCH it was not working when back after a day out. So due you think I would recommend this NFU HOTEL

• Jayne (5/5): A cheap option that helped us out of a situation but would not stay there again - It was very dated but the towels and beds were clean The guy at reception was rude, smug and assuming. We booked a double bed but ended up with a twin room. We were in the attic, up 4 flights of stairs, we are fit adults but this was exhausting. Breakfast was served between 7am -8.30am clearly to avoid guests taking up the option of free breakfast, far too early when you’re on a city break.

The room was clean and big enough for our family The key to our room was the same as the front door which leads me to believe the other keys were the same and anyone would have the ability to enter our room and vice versa. The bathroom was tiny and could smell the drains.

• Carolina (8/5): Estupendo - El hotel está muy bien , sobre todo la ubicación es fantástica , está la estación de paddington a menos de 5 minutos , tiene muy buena comunicación con los autobuses también el chico de recepción muy simpático y el desayuno excelente. El único pero que le pondría son las escaleras , nos tocó la habitación en el ultimo piso y las escaleras son estrechas y empinadas, la verdad que llegabas arriba con falta de aire , pero como alfinal solo vas a dormir y descansar un poco por la tarde está genial igualmente
• Jose (7/5): Estancia agradable - La ubicación es muy buena porque está cerca del metro e incluso para ir a los sitios de interés andando sin recorrer grandes distancias. Que para desayunar teníamos que cruzar la calle pues donde estábamos alojados no se servía el desayuno. Y como el sitio era muy pequeño para el número de clientes siempre te tocaba esperar.
