- 45DegreesNorth (10/5): Comfortable hotel, well located - The room we were given was a suite, we had a living area with balcony and an extra bedroom. Loved the electronic shutters that kept the room cool in the June heat, and gave a good black-out effect for sleeping. The room was well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. Very nice breakfast in the morning. There is a small pool area where we were able to take a dip, and as we were cycling all day in the heat, we could get a cocktail to enjoy near the pool. The location of the hotel was not bad at all, we could comfortably walk back and forth to city centre. This town is absolutely lovely. We were on a cycling tour and the hotel is very bike friendly, with a place to store the bikes. This hotel is well-recommended.

- cecile (10/5): Tres bon emplacement. - Hôtel confortable, très bien placé à proximité du centre et très calme. Nous avions une suite familiale parfaite pour nous quatre, chacun a eu son espace. Literie confortable, tout était d’une propreté scrupuleuse. Il faisait chaud, un vrai cocon. L’hôtel n’est pas dans le centre centre, ce qui est parfait car on n’est pas gêné par le marché. Mais tout est tout proche ( cinq minutes jusqu’à la rue principale), en particulier plusieurs très bons restaurants, dont le Bistrot de l’Octroi à deux minutes que je recommande particulièrement.

Breakfast is really good and the staff are really helpful. 2 major dislikes for me ( I’m a very big guy). 1) the toilet is TINY and makes using it REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! 2) the AC needs serious repositioning. It’s hidden under the desk and almost useless!! Also their private parking is 100 meters away and up a STEEP ramp . None of this is mentioned.

Camera molto funzionale e dotata di tutto ciò che serve (ampia doccia, bollitore, frigorifero e aria condizionata). Bella la zona piscina. La colazione è discreta ma potrebbe essere migliorata (sia per la parte dolce che salata). La pulizia quotidiana della camera superficiale.

De kamers zijn ruim en schoon en hebben een groot balkon. De medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk. De stad is een kleine 5 minuutjes lopen, top!!

En particulier, le comportement des hôteliers qui ont été confrontés à un problème très désagréable : la panne de climatiseurs, compréhensible en raison de la chaleur extrême qui régnait lors de notre arrivée. Ils se sont donné la peine de nous prévenir par téléphone pendant que nous étions en route depuis la Belgique et nous ont proposé un échange avec un hôtel voisin qu'ils gèrent également, et qui nous a donné toute satisfaction, sans discussion de prix. Le personnel est au petit soin des résidents. La literie est top, la clim, les terrasses, les chambres rien à ajouter le séjour était parfait. L hôtel est idéalement situé à l entrée du centre ville mais au calme de l effervescence. La Clim fonctionne très bien et le petit déjeuner autour de la piscine est parfait.

It took us less than 10 minutes to walk into the town center. The room we booked exceeded our expectations and provide loads of space for our cases etc... Both areas Air-conditioned and each with its own balcony. Free street parking was available outside the hotel. Breakfast provided enough for the day if needed. Ludovic, the manager, kindly sent us a text prior to our arrival explaining that the reception would be closed between 12pm and 3pm but provided an entry code if we arrived during that time. Very helpful. 5 stars.

- washdcfamily (4/5): If you are staying at this hotel when the temperature is hot, make sure that your room has working air condition - This is a clean, modern and convenient hotel and it was recommended by the Rick Steves guidebook. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system is broken in our room when my family of three stayed for one night at the end of May 2025. The temperature reached a high of 85 degrees F during the day. We arrived at the hotel around 4pm in the afternoon and the room temperature was tolerable. We tried to adjust the air conditioning unit and could not make it work. I went downstairs to ask the receptionist and she asked for my room number. I gave it to her and she acknowledged that she is aware of the air conditioning unit not working in that room. She apologized and said that the mechanic is waiting for a part that has not arrived. We went out to dinner in the old town in Sarlat and came back to the hotel around 9:30pm and the room temperature was unbearably hot. We opened the balcony door hoping the evening air would eventually cool down the room. Unfortunately, our room with a balcony faces the main street and cars and motorcycles passed through our window the entire evening. Needless to say, we had a very restless night. Given that the hotel apparently was aware that the room's air conditioning system did not work, I am disappointed that it did not inform us when we checked in or offer us a different room. The next morning at checkout, the young man working at the reception was apologetic and offered us a 20 Euro discount which was a nice gesture.
