• Marisa (10/5): - The best hotel we have stayed in south east Asia!! The room was spacious and clean. The balcony was also spacious. The bed sheets and towels were clean and smelt nice. The service was unbelievable, the staff were all amazing and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good for an Asian style breakfast. The location was perfect for us as it was not out of the way, it was centrally located and surrounded by restaurants. There were not many beach sunbeds but this was not a problem for us, they offered beach mats as an alternative. The swimming pool is a nice size but not much area around the pool to chill and does not get much sun. You do not need to bring beach towels as the hotel replaces them daily. Overall Boracay was an amazing experience thanks to the district hotel.

They were welcoming and treat guests professionally. Food in breakfast buffet was not impressive since it was cold and hard. The attendants that help put chairs by the beach did very good job. Desserts in their cafe are great. Food and service in the dining at the rooftop was excellent. Room and hallways need upgrade.
• Raïmé (8/5): Pour ceux qui veulent être dans l’effervescence - L’hôtel est très bien situé sur une plage magnifique dans la station 2 près des restaurants et de l’action. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très professionnel, courtois et réactif aux demandes. Le transport aéroportuaire offert par l’hôtel est très efficace. Nous avions une chambre « premier » qui était spacieuse et bien climatisée avec deux thermopompes. Pour ce qui est des points négatifs, le matelas était inconfortable, l’état général moyen de l’hôtel, le buffet déjeuner était passable, la salle de sport était horrible et l’hôtel est très familial donc peu reposant. En somme, des enfants monopolisaient la piscine et le spa (lorsque ce dernier était fonctionnel) avec notamment de gros objets gonflables. Ils y passaient la journée. Également, il y a seulement une dizaine de chaises longues sur la plage pour tout l’hôtel… Si vous rechercher de la tranquillité, opter plutôt pour l’hôtel Crimson ou le Shangri-la à l’extrémité de l’île. Ceux-ci sont plus isolés et près de la plage Puka.

• Shaun (10/5): - Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants. Everything in walking distance. Would recommend. Just make sure you arrive before dark as hotel boat transfer does not go at night, but they provide 3rd party service otherwise hotel transfer the best. Beach ok, a bit of rubbish, but short walk to other side of island beaches which were a lot cleaner. But preferred staying on this side. Great waters sports, including island hopping and sailing. Pretty much all water sports.

• NOLASCO (8/5): - Love my stay with the District. Conveniently located between station 1 and 2 which means you get the best of both world in terms of less noise/traffic and the accessibility of all the nearby restaurants, club and bars. D’mall, Jerry’s Grill and Starbucks is just around the corner. Epic and Summer Place nightclub is also nearby. The District has an impressive breakfast buffet local favorites like fried garlic rice, fried bangus, Vigan longganisa, lugaw, pancit, lomi soups to traditional western dish cereals, bacon/eggs, fried chicken and pasta. This changes daily. Top notch! The rooms are huge and elegant. Bed and pillows are comfy. Super clean! Staff are courteous and attentive to your needs. The only issues I got was I made 2 reservations - one from their website and another in Expedia. I learned the hard way that booking other than their website will mean that you have to purchase the transportation separately. So I got charge extra 2,500 pesos or $44 dollars. Then, again on my checkout and need to use their van and speedboat to Caticlan airport I got charge another “extra” 1,000 pesos or $18.50 because I’m going solo and they need a minimum of two persons per trip. I don’t mind paying for the convenience of arranged transportation but at least it should be all mentioned during booking so there’s no surprises about all these extra expenses. Book on their website! Otherwise, the place is great! Love it and will recommend to friends and families.

Staff are always thoughtful and very kind, always making us feel welcome…never had any issues with all of our stay. I’ve arranged our tours with them too to make sure we will be taken cared of. After our brief shuttle to ferry and ferry to another shuttle, the district had staff on both ends that carried our luggage and escorted us past all the madness of people trying to figure out what they were doing. They drove us to the resort which is right on the beach and they carted all our luggage down a long path from the road. Wasnt an easy task, so I definitely appreciate all the help from the staff, cuz it would have been a pain in the butt to do ourselves! As for our stay, the staffs great, very helpful and friendly. The buffet food was pretty good for what it was, not a whole lot of options but it was worth it. Floor was a little slippery around the property when it would rain, almost fell on my butt a couple times, it my Sandals just didn’t have grip. Not their fault. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back.

• Maria Gracia (10/5): - We spent 3 days in this hotel. The location is perfect - beachfront and in the middle of the action. Next to D’Mall. However our room was very quiet at night. The breakfast spread is wonderful - never the same in the 3 days we were there. The staff was also great - always willing to assist. We had the premiere king room and it was a big room, complete with drinking water, dental and vanity kit, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. There was an insect repellant spray too. The hotel provides beach mats and towels and because we hang out right in front, they can look out for your things while you swim or go to the washroom. They have 3 restaurants and the upper deck has acoustic singers certain nights. We opted to pay for their airport transfers and it was worth it. They took care of us from airport to hotel and back in a private speed boat and van, skipping any lines. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommended. 😊

Walking the side alley to get to the hotel wasn’t quite appealing but once you got onto the beach side, it was definitely a paradise. The hotel was perfectly located to Starbucks and all other restaurants when I didn’t plan to eat in the hotel

The transfers to the resort were amazing and so pleased we booked direct with the hotel as this made a huge difference and was not stressful at all. We loved the pool and pool beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. It sits on the beautiful Borocay white beach, the beach and sea are absolutely stunning. The only downside is it is full of tourists especially in the afternoon! The hotel is in the busiest area but that was good as it was very close to lots of bars restaurants and shops. Staff were all brilliant. Israel was particularly helpful at the pool

Very, very helpful and attentive staff, very clean, little touches which make a difference e.g. universal multi-adapter extension lead in room, insect repellant provided in room! Turn down service with biscuit or sweets. BIG bonus to have the air conditioned coffee shop by the side of reception with beach view - excellent service, delicious cakes, smoothies, sandwiches, etc. enjoyed cooling off there for 30 mins or so in the afternoon. Nice pool, but lacking atmosphere. Great for families or couples. Really enjoyed our stay! Just need to fix the WiFI connection for IPhone so that there is no need to repeat login every time the phone wakes up!

• Cesar (10/5): Shelter from the Storm - Impressed with The District! The convenience of the hotel was superb in that the beach was just a few steps away from the hotel’s entrance. The buffet breakfast catered to local and foreign gastronomic delight. Staff were very cordial and attentive to their guests needs. The pool provided respite from the stormy weather. It was perfect that my room was just a few steps from the pool as well. Moreover, the hotel’s gym offered a distraction from the rainy weather. Overall, I would book at The District again.
• Leo (8/5): - - location was good - room interior was nice - room was clean and room service was good - Wifi was very Bad and it gets disconnected once to close ur phone even for a min and you have to log in overtime u use the wifi which is very bad - no sunbed at the beach which was surprising rule by the government - to reach the hotel from the main street was too difficult and not easy at all specially if you have luggages - it was too annoying at night because of some loud music from the next hotel for 2 days - found some ants in the rooms

They have their own speedboat from caticlan to boracay island. I just don’t like the path from the main road to the hotel.

The buffet was fantastic. The view and the beach is right in the palm of your hands. Upon departure, the District has it’s own private van to pick is up, and one staff to take care of all our luggages. Their own privatize speedboat was an unforgettable experience to take us to the airport. We would definitely go back again and recommend the Distirct to my family and friends!

We reserved for aquanaut activity and was not informed about health restrictions upon reserving the activity. We were unable to proceed with the aquanaut activity and wasted our morning. Plus my husband was really looking forward to it.

• Justin (10/5): Would stay here again! - Great service! Nice property and great location right on White Beach. We will for sure stay here again when we return to Boracay! I *highly* recommend calling the hotel after you book and adding on their transfer service. I think it came out to be like $72 for both of us both ways, but it was very worth it. When we arrived at Caticlan Airport and picked up our luggage, The District had an air conditioned van ready for us and they drove us to the Jetty Port, where they already had tickets purchased for us, so we were able to scan them and get through to the boat quickly. We then went via boat to the shore and then another van ride near the hotel. Then they loaded our luggage into a manual pushcart and pushed it for us while we walked to the beachfront to our hotel. Amazing service and totally worth it! They also had cool towels and cucumber lemonade ready for us when we arrived! We also used the complimentary massage and drinks coupons during our stay that they gave us when we checked in. Overall a great experience!

• Christopher (8/5): - Great beds, ac and shower. Bathroom and pool area had that ‘special’ smell which I appreciate must be hard to get rid off. Good breakfast with latte (espresso) available, muesli, real butter(!), plain yoghurt, bacon, but no mango :(. Check-in was slow and my 13 year old required an additional fairly large surcharge which if I’d known would perhaps have chosen a different hotel for the resulting total cost per night. Great service otherwise and check-out was quick, even with room check.

You have two other hotels one on either side and all three have live bands. It can be loud if you are an early sleeper. Also the hotel needs to get more aggressive with late night partiers and tell them to quieter down. All in all though, I really enjoyed the stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay but a bit dissapointed. - The hotel is very nice and in a very good location. The only thing that really bothered us was that all of the common areas of the hotel had half of the are reserved. for who? no idea... always empty but always reserved. The best tables with beachfront views for breakfast... reserved. the best tables for sunset... reserved. We were there for 7 nights and never saw anyone sitting on those tables. I don't have anything against reserving tables but if someone is to book a table Im sure you can ask at what time they are coming. Instead of reserving the table from 6am onwards.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved this hotel from the minute we arrived. Staff very welcoming and always keen to help and say hello. Room nice and very clean. Great choice of food at breakfast. Beachfront location. Only downer is that now they are not allowed to put sun loungers on beach, only 8 sunbeds by pool so can be difficult to get a place. There is a roof terrace overlooking beach but no umbrellas by sun beds.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Rooms are outdated and most the furniture is all scratched up and the smell in the room was unbearable. It smelled like a strong chemical was used. Pool is boring and gets no sun. Only thing going for this hotel is the oceanfront location. We only stayed 1 day before we went next door the Henann Crystal Sands and this place was 5 star property and amazing rooftop pool.

• Somkeat (10/5): AMAZING STAFF - Staff was amazing and hotel was very clean. Great location. Buffer breakfast was great with a lot of selection. Their Spa was amazing. Only con is the size of the pool and wished the hot tub was warmer. Other than that the hotel was exceptional.
• MK (4/5): - I chose this hotel base on ratings. It's a great hotel, there was one particular staff that blow us off, by simply asking if the hotel takes guest to their hotel. He blew us off and told us to find our own ride there. If we were aware that we need reservation we would have done it. He could have simply say, unfortunately I do not see you on the list but, let me help you get you there. But, instead he was unprofessional and made everyone that works there look bad. I did speak to someone at the front office and they took care of me and the rest of my parties since we got 2 rooms but, this is the first time I been to PHL after 30 yrs. I"m not sure if this employee been treating their guest this way but, this establishment need to make sure their guest feel welcome and not being blown off. and to top it all the other ppl in my parties saw him high fiving his employees that he got away with it. Again hotel is great overall breakfast, location and most staff. But, do make sure to make reservation if you want a shuttle service to go to the hotel. District took care of us on our last day by accommodating us with shuttle, speed boat back and shuttle to take us to our car. Hope this help someone and have a great experience. BTW, Boracay is a must go place. Enjoy!

• Victoria (10/5): Excellent hotel - Hotel was brilliant. Clean, fantastic service, staff only too happy to help. Breakfast brunch was good. Beds really comfy. Great location right on the white beach. Area outside hotel is quite busy but there are hotel beds on beach and security to watch your belongings if you go in the sea. You can walk up in few mins go a quieter area of the beach at station 1 if you prefer.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty and Run-down. - This hotel was run down and didn't feel clean. The grout between the floor tiles was in gross condition. The mirrors had black spots from past damage. The wood furniture was scraped up. The shower pipe was bent. The trash can in the bathroom was cracked. The air vent was caked with dust. The shower had intermittent bad smells - perhaps from the drain. The pool had debris floating in it. The list could go on....this hotel had a high price so my expectations were high. I honestly felt ripped off. I really don't see how it justifies the price it is asking - especially when there is a newer and nicer hotel next door charging much less. I was also disappointed with the breakfast buffet and the noise from the bars outside was very loud until about 2am every night. Obviously the hotel did not invest too much sound proofing.
• Lanny (6/5): Overall would not recommended - Very disappointing as I booked a shuttle online weeks prior in advance to this trip. When arrival, hotel insists I did not pay and asks for a payment. Therefore, I paid again and realized I paid twice through Expedia and the hotel. Overall, super unorganized. Staff keeps telling us to wait as they will fix the problem. However, I did not receive any follow ups. Beach was a great.
• Matt (10/5): Excellent hotel - I booked this place with a friend for the first time and it was exceptional. As a person who grew up in Philippines, and currently living in Australia, I have been to Boracay about 2-3 times before but I felt my stay at The District was by far the best experience. The hospitality was great, the staff who worked are professional and prioritise you before themselves. The entire hotel was magnificent and facilities and room were also top-notch. I’d highly recommend people who wish to get value for money in this resort and it’s a convenient location too as it is in the heart of white beach.
• sandra (10/5): Borcay heaven!! - The hotel is outstanding! The facilities, location and buffet are all awesome and the staff goes over and beyond to make you feel welcome and cater to your every need. The wi-fi was not great in our room, but then again we were on vacation so who cares!! You can use the internet while eating the delicious breakfast buffet over looking the ocean, but I bet you won't!!

The staff, from front desk, to room maintenance or service, to breakfast/lunch crew, to transfer crew were very friendly, helpful, courteous and considerate. As for the hotel itself, I would rate it a 5 star because of its central location, amenities and cleanliness.
• Sharone (10/5): Birthday Vacation - The hote staff were all very accommodating. From the airport pick up to check in it was seamless. We liked the food selection for breakfast too. The massage is worth going back to. We will definitely stay there again.
• Vic (8/5): Excellent Service and best location! - The services of staff is really maintained at a high standard! However, the interior of the room and bathroom tend to be older and less attractive compared to other similar hotels like Boracay Mandarin.
• Globe Trotter (8/5): - Excellent location! Nice well appointed hotel. Don't expect a view from your room and ensure your pre-arrange airport transfer with hotel, which apparently is included. Staff are attentive and professional.
• RAAD (8/5): Good hotel looking over the beach - I did not expect that good quality,service from the hotel.it was really a good hotel however the rooms do not look over the beach.
