• Jules_Richards (10/5): Comfortable, clean, excellent value for money. - Was here two nights 17-19.07.25 with a colleague working in the shipyard at Cleopatra Marina. The hotel was perfect for our needs and only 20 minutes drive to the shipyard. As working, we didn't venture out in the evenings and had the tasty buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant - incredible value at 18€ for three courses. Breakfast was also very good with a copious buffet. All very laudable but the overriding factor which made this stay most enjoyable was the attitude of all the staff I encountered. Everyone, from receptionists, bar and waiting staff, even the pool lifeguard on the Wednesday evening were absolutely delightful, going about their business in a super-friendly, welcoming manner. They really seemed to care very much about what they were doing. Hearty congrats to the managers selecting and training the staff. A lot of places could learn a lot from them.
• Bridgette (6/5): Vaya the receptionist is the best in Greece - This hotel is brilliant if you to stay by swimming pool and you are no interested in anything else, i am a explorer so to get to preveza town or port it will cost 5 euros via taxi , to preveza bus station which cost five euros again, this bus station is fantastic i went to lefkada for 3.50 euros, and beautiful parga which will cost you 7 euros each way , you can even get to athens , the best about margarona royal hotel is Vaya she made my stay a wonderful experience so five stars for vaya the receptionist much love to you ❤️

Rooms/decor are a little dated but they were spotlessly clean. Good sized rooms. Efficient and friendly staff. Good selection of different foods for breakfast.

• T4894KGbrianp (2/5): Noise and dirty - The hotel has a lot of young guests who unfortunately makes a lot of noises, especially in the night. Hotel staff did a very poor effort to stop them. Room was dirty, and overall poorly maintained. Hotel location far from the city centre, and there is limited transportation options.

It was a pleasure to spend one night in this hotel. The view in front of the hotel was fantastic.Very good!, 🍀🍀
• carolgalashan (6/5): Not so clean here and there - The rooms are not clean. My balcony had cigarettes in the plants and ash on the floor. Told reception who said it would be cleaned. Bathroom tiles need cleaned and the bath stopper was covered in old soap. Kind of needs a freshen up in my opinion.

• Kam (10/5): Preveza Extravaganza - We stayed 4 night and had a fabulous time. The rooms are a good size and a balcony with table and chairs. It’s a nice and quiet area. The pool is huge with loungers and umbrellas. They do have a server to bring you drinks/coffee. There is a lot of green marble everywhere so be careful walking. The ladies serving breakfast and dinner were excellent! So kind and helpful. Location was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

• Veli-Pekka (8/5): Good sleeping quality and nice pool - We had a nice stay in this classical hotel. The personal was very friendly. The new bed mattress were very good to sleep in. The morning swim in the pool was very pleasant. Sownsides: There were some individual insects in the room. Also the carpet need more thorough vacuuming also behind the furniture. Also as a surprise there were some electrical scooters available on the entrance of the hotel which may be used eg to visit the city center. The ktel bus station may be reached also by foot .
• afroditik413 (10/5): Excellent hotel - Stayed at this hotel 3 nights. Went sightseeing up to Preveza etc. The hotel is wonderful to have as a base, clean, very quiet 4 minute drive into preveza. Breakfast buffet very good. Value for money. Will be back again!

• Ace28065 (4/5): Not great hotel. Staff trying their best. - Unlucky enough to get put here when our flight was cancelled. The rooms and hotel seemed quite dirty which during the pandemic wasn’t good enough. Stains on carpets and strange smells. The buffet food they laid on was ok and drinks where made with a smile from staff trying their best. Maybe it is better now?
• Lavinia02 (8/5): An overnight stay - We stayed 1 night after flying into Artio Airport. Access from the airport is via a toll tunnel (€3) and parking is available immediately outside. Very pleasant staff throughout and an efficient check in. The room was adequate but rather dark and dated. No tea & coffee facilities, iron or board. Bathroom had shower over the bath. The lounge was very formal with rows of sofas and the dining room lacked any atmosphere. Dinner for 2 was €32 + drinks for 3 courses. Outside there was a lovely pool on the terrace overlooking the estuary but it was very windy. Not an hotel we’d have wanted to spend our holiday in - but fine for a night.
• bardangas (8/5): location, structure, facilities most acceptable - Have been to this hotel thrice in 25 years. Renovated, fine out of season charm. Conferential tourism mars the romance of it. Fine marbled floors and sensible room decoration. Good view which in the wintry weather reminded me of Oceanic habitats i.e. New Zealand or Australia, but that is with some free association. Breakfast was essentially plain and simple and the terraced view could be better but that has to do with the space utilization of the hotel. Some parking congestion and a fine walk from the town innards. Price was of the good value for money variety.

• ccp21 (8/5): Ιdyllic location - Located in the entrance of the city of Preveza, nearby the laggon. A place of quiet and peace. All rooms have very good location. Excellent staff service, cleanliness everywhere. Huge parking and very easy to access.

• Richard (4/5): No value for money - There was a wedding party with extremely loud music till 4am or later. Impossible to sleep through the noise. no warning ahead of this. Nice swimming pool, but no hot running water in hotel at 8pm so we had to take cold shower before diner. There was no airport shuttle service as was suggested by the website. Food buffet was okay, but quite expensive at eur20 per person given choice of food.

Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ εξυπηρετικό και ευγενικό. Στα κατά θα έβαζα το ότι αν και η θέα είναι πανέμορφη, στη θάλασσα δεν μπορείς να κάνεις μπάνιο, πρέπει να πας αλλού με μεταφορικό μέσο απαραιτήτως, καθώς και το πρωινό στο οποίο δεν υπήρχαν επιλογές καφέ, παρά μόνο φίλτρου. Οποιαδήποτε άλλη επιλογή χρεωνόταν έξτρα, πράγμα που δεν το έχω ξανασυναντήσει σε άλλο ξενοδοχείο.
• EFSTRATIOS (8/5): Ένα από τα πιο νοσταλγικά ξενοδοχεία της Πρέβεζας - Η τοποθεσία εκπληκτική. Το ξενοδοχείο έχει γνωρίσει και ενδοξότερες εποχές. Μεγάλο εστιατόριο, μπαρ και πισίνα, όχι πλήρως αξιοποιημενα. Πρωινό αξιοπρεπές. Wifi ελεύθερο, αλλά μέτριο. Τριγύρω υπάρχουν κάποιες ψαροταβέρνες, αλλά κυρίως η Πρέβεζα, που διαψεύδει τον Καρυωτάκη με την ομορφιά της.
• Santya (8/5): - I made the reservation last minute with the property as our bus got delayed and was suprised that the women at the reception was ready to welcome us and make a quick check-in since it was late. Good breakfast buffet and nice pool. I would argue that the location is not the best, since its a little far to the beach and the Taxi fares to the airport and bus station was too much (ripped off by Taxi drivers)
• TStefanos (8/5): Α very good all season choice for your stay in Preveza! - Having stayed a few years ago at Margarona during summer, i was really glad that i visited the hotel also during winter. It remains a great value-for-money hotel just 5' by car outside Preveza. Spacious, clean rooms. Comfy beds and good heating. The room furniture maybe a little bit worn but it's no bid deal. The bathroom is big and clean minus the basket that needs to be replaced! Breakfast is plenty and satisfying. Dinner (we tried once) wasn't that great though. Last but not least, the hotel staff is always helpful and smiling! P.S. Hopefully the next time, the corridors' carpet will be gone...

• Elin (10/5): Utmärkt - Vår vistelse var utmärkt! Maten, rummet, poolen och hotellet i allmänhet var väldigt bra. Var lite svårt att kommunicera med dem i receptionen men det ordnade sig! Tar 40 minuter att gå till stan men vägen dit är via havet så det var de värt!
• Per-Inge (8/5): Brief visit to Greece - Staff was friendly and spoke English rather well, check-in and out went without issues. The overall experience of the stay was good. The room was clean and held an expected standard for this type of hotel, air conditioning worked but was a little bit under powered for my taste. Breakfast was a bit disappointing some of the dishes that are supposed to be warm was made in advance and stone cold (eggs, pancakes etc.) The pool area had enough room and we did not have any issues getting sunbeds. The bar staff were service minded and the hotel offered drinks for a decent price. The views was nice, however we felt that the pool could have been cleaned a bit better (algae and such). Location wise it is about a 10-15 minute walk into the the city center in Preveza, the views and surroundings are very beautiful and we felt that the best way was to walk along the sea all the way to the guest harbor bear in mind though that there are no sidewalks for parts of the road and that the traffic is quite intensive especially on working days.
• Peter (6/5): Super location - terrible carpets! - Great location with helpful staff. The bedroom smelt of smoke and the carpet was dreadful - black with dirt. The corridor of the third floor was also in urgent need of replacement. The bathroom was clean and what I’d have expected of a hotel of this quality. The swimming pool was of a good size but swimming was difficult with so many children using the safety lifebelts as toys. Because of the location and price I’d like to use the hotel again, but will look elsewhere first.
• Christopher (4/5): Stop showing a nice clean pool it's stagnant. - All the promos show a beautiful clean pool what I got was a smelly dirty big hole with a broken light and stagnant water. No explained why ! Also went to restaurant as too far out of town sent from person to person but everyone too busy with bus groups so walked out no dinner for me. Reviews from December said new carpets over winter. Which winter? As floor 3 old worn out still in April. Staff at front desk very nice. Towels in bathroom excellent.

• Donald (8/5): A Very Nice Place to Stay in Preveza - No major complaints about the hotel. Clean, everything in good repair, nice pool, nice rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast. Parking was in short supply, but it didn't affect me as I used a motorscooter for transport. But if you're going to stay there, you'll need some kind of private transport because it is not within reasonable walking distance of the center of town with shops, restaurants, cafes and other attractions. Also, although there is WiFi, reception was a bit weak in my room and even weaker by the pool.
• VASILIKI (10/5): Καλή εμπειρία συνολικά - Μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι συνολικά. Το πρωινό είναι εκπληκτικό με μεγάλη ποικιλία. Επίσης, γίνεται καθημερινή καθαριότητα στους ορόφους. Η μόνη μας παρατήρηση είναι η μοκέτα που υπάρχει σε όλους τους διαδρόμους και στα δωμάτια η οποία είναι σε κακή κατάσταση και χαλάει ίσως την γενικότερη καλή εικόνα. Το σημείο που βρίσκεται το ξενοδοχείο είναι αρκετά κοντά στο ιστορικό κέντρο της πόλης με το αυτοκίνητο. Τέλος, η θάλασσα που αναφέρεται πως βρίσκεται σε λίγα μέτρα απόσταση σε καμμία περίπτωση δεν είναι θάλασσα που μπορεί κάποιος να κάνει μπάνιο. Είναι πιο πολύ σαν μικρό λιμανάκι (όχι ιδιαίτερα θελκτικό). Παρ' όλα αυτά, με το αυτοκίνητο η θάλασσα δεν απέχει πολύ. Τέλος, το wifi στο δικό μας δωμάτιο δεν λειτουργούσε.
• Oliver (2/5): Usch - Hela hotellet luktade mögel. Det var mögel i badrummet på rummet, på kakel och duschdraperi. Det var spindelnät i taket, gammalt hår och damm på golvet, äcklig heltäckningsmatta med både smutsfläckar och blekningsfläckar. Sängen var ok, det var väl det enda som städats, och frukosten var ok även den. Riktigt dålig upplevelse, stannade som tur är bara en natt.
• KONSTANTINOS (8/5): Μια καλη και σιγουρη επιλογη - Στο ξενοδοχείο έχω μείνει πολλές φορές στα επαγγελματικά μου ταξίδια στην περιοχή. Το Hotel Margarona είναι ένα αξιοπρεπές κατάλυμα στην περιοχή γιά δουλειές, εξορμήσεις στην περιοχή, οικογενειακές διακοπές κ.λ.π. Βρίσκεται σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία και μπορείς πραγματικά να ξεκουραστείς. Τα δωμάτια είναι όμορφα και καθαρά. Το προσωπικό είναι ευγενέστατο και πρόθυμο σε ότι χρειάζεσαι. Το πρωινό πολύ καλό. Διαθέσιμο άνετο πάρκινγκ χωρίς να ταλαιπωριέσαι. Άνετη βεράντα να πιείς τον καφέ σου με θέα την λιμνοθάλασσα της Μαργαρώνα. Διαθέτει μεγάλη πισίνα και χώρους. Καλό και γρήγορο ίντερνετ.
• Dimitrios (10/5): - Πολυ ευχαριστη διαμονη. Αψογη η καθαριοτητα. Ιδιαιτερα φιλικο και εξυπηρετικο το προσωπικο. Παροχες του ξενοδοχειου ανωτερες της κατηγοριας του. Η τοποθεσια εξαιρετικη, πολυ κοντα στο ιστορικο κεντρο της πολης και ταυτοχρονα πολυ ησυχη. Τελος το πρωινο ηταν πολυ καλο. Σιγουρα θα το συστησουμε και σε φιλους.

• Mary (10/5): Very pleasant comfortable hotel great breakfast - Comfortable clean great pool pleasant staff, great buffet breakfast. Lovely Terrace and views over water. Quiet. The only draw back is you need a car as there is no bus service only taxis . It is 30 minutes walk from Preveza town and longer to the nearest beach. No bicycle hire is available in the area as a form of transport.

• Michael (8/5): Good value with just one minor criticism - This is a good 3-star hotel, built with 4-star grandeur, but in need of a little TLC. The service was friendly and faultless, the room was perfectly adequate, the bed comfortable with quality linen, and the bathroom modern and well-designed. There was a balcony with a pleasant view over the large, clean swimming pool and an inlet from the sea. Breakfast, which was included in the rate, was good. The downside is you need a car to get about as the hotel is located about two kilometres from the centre of Preveza. There is, however, a shuttle bus to and from the airport. The only criticism of an otherwise enjoyable stay is that the carpet in the room was very tired and was in urgent need of replacement. At the price paid, the hotel represented very good value.

• Barbro (4/5): En rysare - Ligger en bit utanför staden vilket är tråkigt då service och kvalité på hotellet är som en minus tvåa. Äcklig heltäckningsmatta sedan 70-talet, kan bara tänka mig vad som kryper där under. Det var som att flytta tiden 30 år tillbaka i tiden gällande service. Rekommenderar att boka hotel i Preveza stad. Ni behöver ingen pool då det finns massor av fina stränder att besöka dagtid och mysigt på kvällarna att strosa i gränderna inne i Preveza.

• Kim (4/5): Saknar känsla för service - Låt inte den vackra marmorn och kristallkronorna lura dig, hotellet är smutsigt med en gamal heltäckningsmatta från 1970 talet. Badrum helt ok. Men läget är bra om du har bil annars boka inne i Preveza stad. Poolen är ingen höjdare, är du här på semester så besöker du alla fina stränder istället. Frukosten är klassiskt grekisk utan finess. Billigt hotel men smutsigt, personal till frukost jobbar som om de var livrädda att smutsa ned sin vita skjorta. Jag kommer inte bo här igen.
• Ioannis. (8/5): Strålende hotell - Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold på Margarona i seks dager. Veldig fint hotell med utrolig hyggelige ansatte, spesielt i resepsjonen. Veldig bra rengjøring på rommene/hotellet, det eneste minuset er at det er tepper i korridorene og på rommene og de var flekkete mange steder. Vi ville absolutt ha foretrukket parkett gulv eller noe lignende som er lettere å rengjøre. Nydelig frokost buffet. Hotellet ligger for seg selv, for langt unna sentrum og strender til at man kan gå. Vi leide bil under hele oppholdet, men ellers er man avhengig av taxi. Flott bassengområde på hotellet. Vi reiser gjerne tilbake.
• Mark (6/5): It's absolutely fine - We stayed at the hotel because we were attending a wedding reception there. Otherwise I'm sure there must be more interesting hotels on the coast - I can't see what the benefit of staying inland is. The hotel itself was fine. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean, staff pleasant. The décor was pretty standard hotel fare, although some parts were worn e.g. carpets outside the rooms. Also the lifts were slow and one, for some unknown reason, always stopped on the second floor. Nice enough swimming pool. Not huge but deep and refreshing.The poolside bar seemed to operate strange hours - no food, except sandwiches, until after 2pm which rather defeats the purpose. In summary, it's a safe relatively inexpensive choice.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Below average - Nice location, about 5 minute drive from town centre. Other than that, typical motel or 2 star hotel.

• gjest (8/5): Bra beliggenhet - Familien arrangerte bryllup på hotellet. Selskapsfasilitetene var veldig bra, rommene ikke fullt så bra. Men rent og god service.
