Das Frühstück war eine gelungene Mischung aus à la carte Gerichten und dazu gab es immer einen frischen Brot/Croissant-Korb sowie Aufschnitt und Marmelade/Honig. Es gibt Liegen am Strand - auch dort super Service und leckere Snacks. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und können das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen! The breakfasts were delicious — every day we left full and happy. The hotel’s location is perfect — the beach is right outside, and it’s just a short walk to the city center. The surroundings are peaceful, with no parties or noise near the hotel. After exploring Crete, we believe that Rethymno is the most beautiful place to stay. We highly recommend this hotel and thank you for a wonderful stay! Everything perfect!

The apartment was cleaned daily and towels changed very frequently. The set format of breakfast. You had no choice of what to eat but were presented with 5 items: bread, pastries, cake, sweet yoghurt and a savoury dish. We don't like/eat cake, bread and pastries so we were only able to enjoy 2 out of 5 items. It would perhaps be better to offer a buffet so that guests can choose what they like and have enough to eat!

The beach area feels open and spacious, not crowded like in the center. The staff were very kind and friendly, and we were allowed to check in early. There’s a bar downstairs, and the beach has its own sun loungers, which was really convenient. The tropical shower was amazing, but there’s no door, so a lot of water ends up on the floor

• Kirsten (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Crete! Everything went smoothly from the start, and for the first three days we were even upgraded to a different room. The location is perfect: just a 20-minute walk from the lively city center, yet peaceful with a beautiful sea view and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it’s complete and more than enough to start the day. One evening, after a Greek cooking class, we brought back some leftovers and the lovely staff member Eirini warmed them up for us and even provided cutlery. We were not the easiest guests since we had a lot of questions, but nothing was ever too much trouble. Eirini, in particular, was incredibly helpful and kind. At check-out she even gave us a hug goodbye – such a warm and heartfelt gesture. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Crete!

The breakfast was served from a rotating specific limited menu, no fresh fruit offered . The beach chairs/umbrella sets are an extra charge daily. The pool area is back of property and mostly shaded.
• Edwin (10/5): Mooie kamer met een prachtig uitzicht ( zeezijde) - zeer vriendelijk personeel, hele mooie kamer met een super uitzicht over het strand. Een klein zwembad om nog even lekker in te liggen ( buiten de zee die aan de overkant ligt) de matrassen zouden iets minder hard mogen, maar verder was alles goed.

• Bianca Paula (10/5): - Very good hotel: clean rooms, great breakfast and exceptional staff - for example, they packed our breakfast because we had an early trip, they allowed us to take a shower after the check out as we were to the beach until the afternoon etc. Also very comfortable beds, we slept very well and a great location right across the beach and not a long walk to the old town.

• Yvonne (8/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Lage direkt am Strand ganz gut. Die Liegen am Strand kosten 12€ extra wobei 2 (ausgewählte) Getränke inkludiert sind. Möchte man eine Unterkunft wo man einerseits direkt am Strand ist und gleichzeitig Mitten im Geschehen ist (Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Musik) - optimal. Wir hätten es gerne ein wenig ruhiger gehabt. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss direkt zwischen Stiegenaufgang und Pool - weshalb wir unweigerlich sämtliche Personen vorbeigehen, Aufzug-Benutzung usw gehört haben. Das Frühstück war okay, wir würden uns bei einer neuerlichen Buchung allerdings ohne inkludiertes Frühstück entscheiden.

• Politzki (10/5): - We had a truly wonderful stay at Batis Beach Hotel! The location is perfect, right by the sea, with beautiful views and easy access to Rethymno’s attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. What made our holiday really special was the warm hospitality of the staff. Eirini and the whole team were always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. We enjoyed every day of our vacation here and left with beautiful memories. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rethymno and we would love to come back again in the future! -

Beach bar was great too, with food and drink delivered to your lounger, staff were super friendly and it created a great chilled atmosphere, would definitely book again!

• mickael (10/5): - Very good hotel hotel ideally situated on the sea front and not too far from the old town of Rethymno. Walking time : 25 mn and cheap taxis are available too if you are too tired to walk. The hotel lends beach towels so you don't have to bring them from home and the beach bar "Cactus" is fine. You can rent 2 sun-beds with two drinks for 12€ a day. The hotel is very clean and modern. Breakfast on the rooftop is really enjoyable. The reception team, especially Eirini (very warm and resourceful), is great, helpful and available. The cleaning ladies are very nice too and efficient. We greatly enjoyed our 4-night stay in Batis hotel and do recommend this establishment.
• Nedim (10/5): Incredible - Couldn't recommend enough, everything about this hotel is amazing. Very friendly staff who helped us out on a few ocassions. Rooms seem recently renovated and everything is squeaky clean and spacious. View is excellent, and the beach bar works until late at night so you can go out for a drink anytime. The hotel is placed perfectly as it's not in the center so it's not too busy, but it's a short walk to Old Town and it never feels empty.

Colazione da migliorare a livello di scelta. Le cialde a pagamento per la nespresso presente in camera (le prime 2 omaggio poi 1 euro ciascuna).

In der gleichen Strasse wie viele andere Hotels und Restaurants. Zimmer ist genug gross für 2 Personen, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Väldigt trevliga personal, Irini varit mycket snäll, trevlig och hjälpsam, och vi har fått av hon mycket bra råd för restauranger och aktiviteter under vistelsen. Samt bra jobb av städerskorna. Vi är mycket nöjda. Frukosten var liten, fattig och ej varierade.
• Julius (10/5): - Brukar inte skriva recensioner men vi hade en riktigt bra upplevelse. Finns 100 olika hotell på gatan men detta är nog de finaste. Väldigt moderna och stora rum, bra rumsservice, riktigt trevlig personal och läget är helt perfekt precis framför stranden och nära bra restauranger/barer. Poolen var bättre än vad den såg ut på bilderna, ren och ganska stor. På natten lyser balkongerna med blå färg vilket gör att hotellet står ut från alla andra. Extra tack till Eirini i receptionen för bra hjälp under hela resan. Rekommenderar starkt att boka detta för alla som ska hit, hoppas vi kan komma tillbaka i framtiden igen

Un ringraziamento in particolare volevamo farlo ad Eirini in quanto ci ha guidato nel nostro soggiorno fornendoci tutte le informazioni sui luoghi da visitare,spiagge e ristoranti. Consigliatissimo!

• Isabella (10/5): Worth the price and would stay again! - The room was perfect for our group of 4, had a very clean and modern look with AC. The staff were amazing and very attentive, alongside the room service which was done everyday. Pool was very clean and had nice privacy (and was directly in-front of our room). Location was perfect as it was about a 20 minute walk to get to the Old Town (or a €7 taxi), which also meant it wasn’t too noisy during the night The beds weren’t the comfiest and breakfast seemed to be a bit overpriced for what you get

• Dagmar (9/5): Schönes modernes Hotel in guter Lage - Schönes Hotel mit modernen, sauberen Zimmern. Mit Dachterrasse, auf der man mit Meerblick frühstücken kann. Läden und Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Zur Altstadt von Rethymno etwa 20 min zu Fuß an der Strandpromenade entlang. Das Hotel Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Hotel definitiv weiter empfehlen.

The only thing i messed was a bjgger fridge. The staff are super friendly - both at the reception and the people cleaning. Location is nice. A little walk to the old town, but then you get a more calm part of the beach. Restaurants and shops right outside the door.
