• Ericka G (9/5): The ultimate place to stay, if you want to be in San Cris for just some days. - My flight was delayed and very emotionally heavy for me; when I arrived at Casa del Alma, I felt immeditely cared for and pampered, was received with a welcome drink and my baggage was taken care of; breakfast was included, abundant and traditionally delicious; the staff was 24/7 kind, warm and always ready with tips and a helping hand. The attention to detail to my necessities and comfort was extraordinary. I highly recommend the hotel. 1. Transport in the town is very limited and of more or less bad quality (that depends more on the city than the hotel, but just so you know). 2. The gym was extremelyyyyyy small and the equipment was not very good for a full body session (just for cardio is ok). 3. The breakfast is from 7am on, buttttt the reallyyy good staff is from 9am on, before that, the staff is a little bit sloppy and can ruin the full experience of a beautiful breakfast, other than that is ok, they always try to do their best.

• Tchusda (9/5): Hotel confortável no centro de San Cristóbal - Excelente equipa de receção, sempre disponíveis para qualquer ajuda e com ótimos contactos para tours, serviços de lavandaria, recomendações de restaurantes, etc. Quartos extremamente confortáveis, a cama era gigante. O restaurante também tem muita qualidade e aqui comi os melhores huevos a la mexicana en mi vida. Muito bom pequeno almoço, com a possibilidade de ser trazido para o quarto. A localização no centro de San Cristóbal é imbatível. Ficámos num quarto mais afastado da entrada do hotel, o que tornou a experiência de utilização do wi-fi bastante penosa.

Christel the concierge was super helpful and the restaurant is pretty good. The best part about casa del alma is the free underground parking since it’s extremely difficult to find parking around downtown San Cristobal. Great experience!

Our only complaint was housekeeping arrived late in the afternoon to clean our room. It was a minor inconvenience, as this was the time we were headed back to the room to get ready for the evening.

• BRENDA INDIRA (8/5): Desilusión demasiada expectativa - Que tiene restaurante para desayunar y comer y la comida está rica, las instalaciones comodas. Estacionamiento reducido nos indicaron que si saliamos posiblemente ya no encontraríamos lugar nuevamente, se reservo con anticipación masajes nos atendieron media hora después. En recepción indicaron que teníamos cócteles de cortesía que nos los podían dar antes o al terminar el masaje no nos lo dieron, se le pregunto a la recepción al dia siguiente comento la señorita que solo se da cuando se registra en el hotel o bien nos lo quiso dar cuando nos íbamos.

En el restaurante , la atención, servicio y explicación de la carta y como se preparan los alimentos por parte de Rolando y Saúl, excelente. Sin duda regresaremos! Una gran experiencia!

Recomendo - Ótima localização, a suíte júnior confortável, cuidado com os hóspedes para realização dos passeios e para o transfer do/ para aeroporto de Tuxla. A recepcionista Kristell foi sensacional no agendamento dos passeios e na pronta resposta a todas as dúvidas e necessidades. Recomendo. O café da manhã por vezes demorou excessivamente o que gera certa ansiedade quando se tem horário para sair para passeios ou aeroporto.

Absolutamente todo. En el restaurante del hotel la comida es super rica y a un precio considerable.

• Jennifer (9/5): CALM AND QUIET STAY IN A WONDERFUL PLACE NOT THR BEST BEDS - Hotel is very centrally located, building is gorgeous, comfortable, well lit, spacious and more importantly, quiet and serene. No wonder the WiFi network is CALM. Only hiccup is about pillows. Bed isn’t extremely comfortable, it is actually juts average and doesn’t match the context, and pillows are cluttered -old- not firm enough, just not nice. All of them. I visit San Cristobal often and I have stayed in several hotels, most of them fail to address correctly the issue of wonderful beds, lining and pillows. Incorrectly thought this one would be different.

• Einon_E_Mouse (8/5): Good base. - The hotel is in a great situation for exploring San Cristobal. Close to the sites and the many restaurants, bars and live music venues. The rooms were big, clean but dated. Unfortunately the rooms didn’t have coffee/ tea making facilities, which would have been useful on our second morning when we had a 5am start. Breakfast was good and served in the main restaurant. Staff at the hotel were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Very smiley and helpful reception staff.

• Claudia Elena (10/5): Hermoso hotel y excelente servicio! - El hotel es hermoso, y la habitación estaba limpia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Como sugerencia, sería ideal que fueran más considerados con los huéspedes en cuanto al ruido generado por otros visitantes. Una noche no pudimos descansar porque llegó un grupo de huéspedes que estuvieron riendo y platicando a carcajadas en el patio durante gran parte de la madrugada. Sería recomendable establecer alguna política para regular este tipo de situaciones. Fuera de eso, no tengo ninguna queja. El servicio fue excelente y el personal muy atento.

The size of the room was great with a very nice bathroom. Beds we were extremely comfortable. We didn't have a view and the room was very stuffy. It was not possible for us to manage the climate in the room, other than to open windows and doors. And that still did not help with air flow. We often got fumes from the kitchen.

• Michael (9/5): A perfect short stay - would heartily recommend this hotel - Loved the huge room and its facilities. The bar and restaurant were excellent and really enjoyed a late night drink sitting round the fire pit. The location was perfect - just minutes from the main square and all the staff were professional and friendly. One of the staff was particularly helpful when we were not picked up for a tour we had booked, she rang our contact and explained in Spanish and we were picked up later on.
