The à la carte restaurants had limited menu options, but the quality and taste of the dishes were still very good. Maybe because it was low season, the beach and poolside restaurant areas were calm and relaxing. One of the best parts was not having to wake up early to reserve sunbeds by the pool.

One of the only reasons I booked here was because I wanted a room with a private pol but upon arrival they denied us this room due to having an infant and an upgrade was given as well as some extra gifts which is appreciated but we would have still liked that room as that is what we came for and it was allowed to be booked like that, so the fault is not on our side but rather those who are in charge of listing the property. Nonetheless the service was still brilliant. Food supplied and options were great, But the halal contamination with the pork is a bit suspicious. Wasn't 100% certain about everything being halaal No heated pool

The location is fantastic, especially with two other Riu hotels nearby, which makes the area lively and convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend Overall, it was simply outstanding. I had planned a short 3‑day stay but ended up spending my entire 8‑day holiday here, a true testament to how wonderful the experience was. The management team, reception and overall staff went above and beyond, always attentive and accommodating to customer needs, making me feel genuinely welcome throughout. Their warmth and professionalism turned my stay into something special, and I’m so grateful I chose to extend my time here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, great hospitality, and a memorable holiday If I had to suggest one area for further improvement, it would be the entertainment, it could be enhanced to make the experience even better. That said, it was still enjoyable overall and didn’t take away from the great stay.

- Ramona (8/5): Bis auf die Kinder ein traumhafter Urlaub! - Das Personal, egal wo, beim Frühstück, an den div. Bars und in den Restaurants, im Spa-Bereich ist wirklich super freundlich gewesen, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Essen und Trinken war hervorragend, vor allem die Mojitos sind sehr empfehlenswert ;-) Es war ein Paradiesischer Urlaub, der gerne länger hätte dauern können. Der einzige Kritikpunkt sind bzw waren die (teilweise sehr lauten) Kinder. Das Hotel wurde ein 3/4 Jahr vorab gebucht, wo es noch als “adults only” Hotel ausgewiesen war und genau deshalb ausgesucht wurde, leider hat es zwischenzeitig ohne entsprechende Benachrichtigung seine Regularien geändert und ist inzwischen ein Familienhotel.

Velmi dobre a udrzovane ubytovani vcetne bazenu. Velmi tezko najit duvod pro kritiku. Skutecne mimoradne kvalitni rezort. Mozna jen trochu nudne hudebni animacni programy ve srovnani s ostatnimi napr. gymnastickymi Pres velmi siroky vyber kvalitnich coctailu snad jedina vyhrada v pripade caipirina pripravuji z obycejneho rumu misto caschaca. To je ale opravdu zcela nevyznamne.

- Irina (10/5): Райское место. - Очень зеленая, ухоженная , красивая и большая территория. Очень внимательный, чуткий персонал . Вкусная еда , большой выбор. По территории разъезжают багги, так как территория большая, расположена на холме. Но мы ходили везде пешком. За день можно находить до 20000 шагов . Красивый вид из домиков, виднеется океан. В домиках чисто, каждый день уборка. Всегда можно выпить чашечку ароматного, свеже приготовленного кофе. Мест, для принятия солнечных ванн предостаточно. Вода в океане чистейшая, лазурная, но бывают и водоросли, но они не мешают, можно уплыть дальше от берега и наслаждаться. Все понравилось

La qualité de la nourriture et des boissons… le rapport qualité/prix est indiscutable ! Merci à Veronica, serveuse à la piscine pour son sourire à toutes épreuves… nous reviendrons… pour la 3ème fois ! L’établissement est devenu « familial » alors que je l’ai connu « adults only », mais pas de conséquence négative… je recommande ! Rien à dire à ce sujet !

- Petr (10/5): Doporučujeme, krásná dovolená☀️🏝️ - Nádherná pláž, velmi příjemná obsluha. Dobré jídlo i pití. Vracíme se každoročně je to úžasné místo. Hotel povolil od loňského prosince pobyt dětem. Na tomto hotelu jsme oceňovali pobyt bez dětí. Nebyl umožněn vstup do restaurací Riu Jumbo, což v minulých letech bylo běžné. V restauraci velmi omezili podávání jehněčího masa a krevet.
- Brigitte (10/5): Außergewöhnlich! - Dieses Hotel ist unbedingt empfehlenswert. Die große, sehr schöne Gartenanlage, die Pools mit Meerblick, der Strand, die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals, das Speisenangebot ... alles ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Am besten in Erinnerung ist mir das Abendprogramm mit den Freedom-Dancers geblieben. Als alleinreisende Rentnerin habe ich mich sehr sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Was das Hotel betrifft, gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Das Sylvesterprogramm war etwas lahm. Den Jahreswechsel sollte man lieber am benachbarten Nungwi Beach verbringen, da war tolle Stimmung.

Pool was nice and beach easily assessable Power cuts off several times a day and throughout the night. As my spouse uses a breathing machine for sleep apnea, this was completely annoying waking her up several times a night.

- Rym (2/5): - Le personnel accueillant Bonjour,je tiens à remonter mon mécontentement vis a vis de ma réservation dans la villa de l hôtel Riu Palace. Tout d abord,parlons de l extérieur : La photo ne correspond pas,il manque la pergola et le mobilier table et chaises et aussi il y a toujours un bruit de fond comme une climatisation non stop,c'est casse tête. Nous allons passer a l intérieur : le parquet est très abîmé,pleines de rayures,gondolé a certains endroits. Nous avons dû mettre du sopalin autour des portes pour éviter que les moustiques,fourmis etc rentrent,il y a même des serviettes en bas de chaque porte ,ce n est pas esthétique du tout. Nous avons écrasé aussi deux cafards le 1er jour,est ce normal pour une villa que nous louons a plus de 1000 euros la nuit Pas de room service !!!Nous voulions commander un en-cas dans l'apres midi et rien,pour un 5 étoiles,c est un peu limite. Sans oublier la douche qui ne fait pas très nette. Les rideaux jaunes,le matin ,nous etions réveillés à 6h30,ce qui ne nous a pas du tout reposé!Et en plus,le matelas n'est pas top. La distance de la villa à la plage,restaurants est absolument honteux,il faut toujours appeler la navette.Meme pas de belle vue pour les villas les plus chères de votre hôtel!

- Bezhan (9/5): After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, this resort was the perfect choice thanks to the calm atmosphery. - The beach area was the highlight for me. I especially liked the water sports, as well as the calm, well-organized beach zone. The sunbeds were very comfortable, and relaxing there with an open view of the beach and ocean was genuinely enjoyable and peaceful. Ultimately, it was not a major issue; however, there was some construction work near our room, and the noise from the construction could occasionally be heard.

- Jared (9/5): Relaxing and well looked after. - The property is well maintained and caters to any person looking for a relaxing and indulgent experience. The bookings for the additional restaurants on the property needs work. We could not book to eat at some of the restaurants we wanted to try, as they were fully booked, but we saw the tables stayed empty for most of the night.

- Olivier (9/5): Un séjour magique dans un endroit idyllique! - Le calme de l'hôtel, le fait qu'il était encore "adults only", la plage privée, les piscines, bars et restaurants à thèmes. Nous avons également apprécié la gentillesse, la serviabilité et l'accueil du personnel! La disponibilité et la rapidité d'interventions du personnel de la réception. Le fait que beaucoup d'activités extérieures peuvent être réservées via l'hôtel. La distance entre notre chambre et les restaurants bien qu'un service de voiturettes de golf était disponible pour effectuer les trajets. Aller manger était agréable parce qu'il fallait descendre, mais pour le retour cela grimpait fort!

A lot of people reserve their sunbeds with towels in the morning without staying at the beach. Various people want to sell gadgets at the beach in an offensive way. Guy from travel office forced cash payment eventhough card payments are accepted.
