zuzahandbear (10/5): Friendly staff, large breakfast and suitable location. A great escape icon - Great service from start to finish from very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room (if a little tired in places) and the pool was great to have during the hot days. The stand out is the amazing breakfast included which was not only tasty but large and easily kept us going all day. The nightly mosquito service is very helpful :) While set back from the more touristy areas of Seminyak, its walking distance to all you need including great restaurants and other experiences like chocolate and silver making.

The accommodation is wonderful, its quiet yet close to wonderful restaurants and cafes. The villa pool is kept immaculate and its such a nice experience at the end of the day to jump into your own pool. The staff are amazing. the daily breakfast were superb.

Will surely visit again Suggestions: Curtains in sofa area should be there as there is direct sunlight. Cooking Utensils in kitchen should be more.Like Big frying pan is a must.

14winf (8/5): Great stay - Great stay at this nice villa - staff were friendly and communicated through whatsapp. Cleaned the rooms each day early and we ordered a floating breakfast one morning which was cool. The pool area is very small - for sunbathing the time of sun on the sunbed was limited each day and not much room around the sides to sunbathe. The door to the kitchen / living area didn't seem to lock but we didn't leave valuables in there so wasn't an issue as main door and bedroom door locked. Would recommend - good location within walking distance to street full of shops and restaurants.

donald (8/5): 2 days in the villa - Our first impression was the villa did not look clean. After we settled down, we agreed the bedroom is clean except the toilet seat cover needs to be changed as there were yellow stains. I did feedback to the staff as well. The doors need to be vanished and pool needs a deep clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. AC & water is powerful & hot enough. The staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast is decent except latte is really weak for a coffee drinker. I requested for a stronger latte the next day but I think they did not understand. Lastly, it is located at the back of the busy road (approximately 300 metres) making it dangerous to walk alone in the dark alley at night. The villa does not provide mosquito repellent in the mosquitoes infested villa, pls get one before arrival. Mosquito coil provided after 6pm is not good enough unless u wrapped yourself up.

SohailAJE (10/5): Flawless stay - Our stay at Icon was very smooth. The main highlight were the staff. They are very warm and helpful. The hotel has a very efficient WhatsApp system. Anything you need, just message them and it is sorted. Breakfast and afternoon tea (with some lovely cakes) are served in the room... I personally really enjoyed this. The hotel's location suited us well. It's on a quiet road and is about 5-10 min walk to a high street and about a 22 min walk to the beach. The weather was cool during our stay so the 22 min walk wasn't an issue, but in super hot weather it might be problematic. Our one bedroom villa (with pool) was pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely... the shower in particular had great water pressure. Notably we didn't have any problems with mosquitos or insects. I was really impressed with the measures the hotel took to make sure of this.

Zahid Zameer (10/5): - Stayed here for 5 days, and what a stay we had! Service here is excellent, beyond excellent, and if not for fantastic service, our stay would not have happened. Ms Kurnia and her colleague went out of their way to make this stay possible for us. They worked some magic for which we are truly grateful. Communication was easy, fantastic English. During our stay, WhatsApp texts allowed for us to place our teatime and breakfast orders no matter where we were. This is extremely convenient. Some breakfast and tea time items were a hit, some much less but there's good food all around Bali anyway. Dining aside, the villa itself was spacious, the pool did not feel extremely cold even in rainy weather and the bathroom was spacious! Overall, great location, great villa, and more importantly, absolutely fantastic service! Thank you so much, Ms Kurnia and your friend, who helped us make this stay possible!
KatriinaUk (10/5): Idyllic villa with a private pool in quiet side of Seminyak - We stayed 4 nights at a villa for 2 with a private spacious swimming pool. Service is impeccable and discrete. Communication is efficient and all your preferences are catered for with a smile. Breakfast was delivered to our living/dining room at a time of our choosing. We chose from a varied menu and were delighted with the quality, presentation of the food and drinks. We could choose each day when our room was serviced (conveniently via WhatsApp). We also received complimentary afternoon tea every day at a time of our choosing. Bed is big and really comfortable (on a firm side). Bathroom spacious and nice. Would highly recommend.
Fung Yin Catherine (2/5): - On 22/1 the whole villa did not have water from 9:00 until 4:00pm (6hours). Staff could only say it was fixing without any contingency plan provided. The toilet bowl in one of the rooms was leaking causing extremely terrible smell filled in the whole room. Everyday we complained and the staff came and tried to fix but in vain. No room was offered to change. They just covered the smell by spraying room refresher. Not acceptable at all. When asked for senior management attention, the staff said she was on CNY holiday and not in Bali.
Qui (10/5): Three-night stay for overseas vacation - Fabulous!!! We love this place! The room was clean, very comfortable and so romantic with private pool. The staff was amazing. They are very nice, friendly, and went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bali.
karansingh (10/5): Awesome place to stay - We stayed there for 4 days - Family of 42adults and 1 child. The experience overall was excellent! The breakfast choices were fantastic. The staff were always attentive and smiling. My Wife also tried the SPA which also was good compared to the price, any small issues the house keeping was prompt to get it resolved. Lovely pool to dip n sip your beer , High tea being served in pool was amazing Definitely recommend for family people !

ramar594 (10/5): Good Place To Spent Holiday - Stayed for holiday 3 nights with my family. The location can reach easily by car, you don't need to go through small alleys to reach location. Its only took 8 minutes to Transtudio Mall Bali. The price is very competitive, I suggested that you booked include breakfast. They offered you with multiple choice for Indonesian and western cuisine, and they can bring breakfast to your room. And what i'm impressed so much is that they always bring afternoon tea with snacks everyday, so great... And The staffs are friendly and helpfull...

Michael (10/5): - Just stayed here for 4x nights, Villa was nice and private and very quiet. Communications is done over WhatsApp which is convenient but someone is at reception if you don’t have WhatsApp. Breakfast was nice with a few choices, private pool was nice and clean, free transport to the square twice per day is also good although taxis are not too expensive. The square and beach is around a 20 minute walk away, there are some local convenience shops near by. Would certainly stay here again!
gary (8/5): - Our stay here was a 8/10. The staff there was extremely nice and lovely and they made us feel very comfortable. They provided us with the best recommendations and they always communicated with us for breakfast, tea, or anything we needed to know. Seminyak was our favorite city to visit in Bali and the hello action of the hotel was just perfect. The only thing I would say was not the best experience was having different room/section for the living room/bathroom. It was annoying to leave the bedroom area to then go outside and open another door for the living room/kitchen. Overall good experience and we enjoyed the floating tray breakfast. The staff there really made our experience memorable.

goony51 (10/5): pool villa on quiet street - Located a short walk from the busy streets of Seminyak. Nicely sized private villa's though lack of pool fencing meant its probably not appropriate for those with young kids because you will spend the full time watching them like a hawk and feeling nervous. Quite nice included afternoon tea and breakfast, all served in the comfort of your villa. Mosquito's became a real pest in evening time but they provide coils and spray to try and reduce the impact. Friendly and helpful staff and well maintained and clean accomodation.
HappyZobo (10/5): Faultless … and spotless - We arrived in Bali after a couple of weeks on Java and wanted somewhere not too far from the airport to chill for a few days and plan the next part of our trip. We decided on Seminyak as it was lively however we didn’t want to stay in the thick of it. After considering several options we booked a 1 bedroom villa at Seminyak Icon and I don’t think we could have chosen better. The hotel is on a lovely quiet road and the villa felt like our own slice of paradise, considering one street down was busy and rather loud with traffic noise. The staff were wonderful and welcoming and got us booked in swiftly and shown to our villa. There are no phones in the rooms so comms can be done via WhatsApp which was really convenient. Breakfast is ordered the day before and delivered to your villa at a pre agreed time. We tried most options which were all fresh, super delicious and plentiful. Guests also have the option of afternoon tea each day which was also a lovely treat. We had dinner from the on site restaurant delivered to our villa one evening which was as good as the breakfast. The villa itself is very well appointed and the kitchen had everything needed, along with a large fridge. The bed and pillows were great, the bathroom was huge and the villa had more than enough storage. The surrounding greenery is well tended and the pool was immaculate and not overly chlorinated. Lastly, the security guys are lovely and friendly, and it was always nice to know that they were keeping an eye on the comings and goings at the hotel. We look forward to returning before the end of our trip.

llaksmidewi (10/5): Wonderful experience, worth the price - Best villa in bali (and seminyak area) so far!! The service was excellent, check in was smooth and the receptionists were very helpful. The pool was quite spacious for seminyak area, considering a lot of villas provide the same facilities but smaller size. To compare, if you put a swan floaties on the swimming pool, there's still enough space for you to chill and relax. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and i love their sunlounger was very spacious, perfect for morning bfast or chillin after a night dip in the swimming pool. The small garden and other plants were perfectly maintained. Breakfast was okay since its included on our hotel price but a bit pricey if we buy it separately. They always deliver the breakfast on time. All in all, it was a wonderful experience staying at seminyak icon. will definitely recommend our families and friends to stay here

The bedroom, the living room, the design, the interior, the bathroom, the pool, and service was above beyond. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. My fav was spending afternoon in the simple living room, really cozy. We will definitely back and recommend this villa......
GregD1205 (10/5): A Heavenly Paradise - Well Worth It - From the moment you enter this property you are treated with warm friendly service. From arrival and departure drinks to attentive service, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. But the pool room is what you are really here for. You own private paradise! The private garden, pool and day bed are sensational. The accommodation was also stunning, luxurious and spacious. We hardly even saw others when walking from the restaurant area to our rooms our whole stay. Was a great private getaway with our own pool. Loved it. Hands down the best place we have stayed - Ever!

AfricanQueen67 (8/5): A little piece of paradise - We went as a group of 7 friends for a 5 night escape and booked 3 villas side by side. perhaps we should have read the fine print a little more closely as there is no central area for a group of friends to congregate or eat meals together, so on arrival we looked at swapping out the 3 villa’s for one large villa. Although the hotel could have rented out all 3 of our villas while moving us to 1 larger villa, they still wanted to charge us an extra $150 per night for this option, so we opted to remain where we were and congregate in the eating area next to the kitchen for meals. This unfortunately was not the best experience being swelteringly hot without air conditioning and being the only table at meal times. This inconvenience was, however, offset by the beautiful, clean villas and charming staff. The villas are I. A quiet sleep and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and undisturbed holiday, a pool outside your bedroom door, a sunbed for 2 next to the pool, good aircon in the bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The place could have received 5 stars if more attention was paid to little details like replenishing the coffee in the room each day, providing milk in the rooms for coffee (we had to go each morning and fetch it from the kitchen) or providing a shuttle service that took you into the main shopping area AND collected you to return to the hotel (the shuttle only takes you one way). Aside from these small details, we all enjoyed a fantastic break at the Icon and would highly recommend it for couples wanting a quiet break.

clarinetist200 (10/5): 2nd visit and hope to come back again soon! - We stayed here on our last visit to Seminyak and knew there was no-where else we could stay on out return! These villas are quiet, clean and the private pool is perfect. We had an issue in our 1st villa with the pool being a bit cloudy (we didn't notice - the hotel staff did!)and we were moved into a 4 person villa after our first day or so. This was ideal as it meant we had a bigger pool and a bigger living space. The breakfasts are great. Chose the night before and they bring to your villa in the morning. Also the afternoon tea in the afternoon is sooo good! Our stay here was perfect. On our last day I unfortunately was unwell and the staff drove me to a local pharmacy. They then let us have the use of another villa until it was time for us to go to the airport so I was able to lie down. This was so appreciated- thank you! If you are travelling to Seminyak stay here!
burgew (8/5): Excellent villas - This was our second stay at Seminyak Icon. The pool villas at Seminyak Icon are beautiful and have a separate living / lounge area. Our pool was warm and a great temperature for swimming and relaxing. The food is very good and better than you get at most villas and you can have meals in your villa or in their restaurant. The Spa is also excellent. The staff were friendly including Reception, restaurant, house keeping, security. However, unlike our previous visit we didn’t feel that they went out of their way to make us feel special and there was no real recognition of our return visit. They have a limited drop off service to Seminyak. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Seminyak Icon.

From the airport pick up and drop off to the fantastic service from all the staff. Nothing was ever a problem. The private villas and pool are well presented and clean. The gardens and grounds are very well maintained. Food was amazing everyday. Location was great with a short walk to local eateries, bars and shopping. Thank you to all the team. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back again soon.

The included afternoon tea was to a standard only to be found at hotels such as the Ritz in Piccadilly. If you are looking for a peaceful, worry free stay the Icon is hard to beat.

Dimi (10/5): Spacious, clean and very private villa. - The Seminyak Icon offered us all the modern conveniences and more. The privacy and courtesy of staff was by far the best I've ever come across. The food was exceptional, the complimentary breakfast and high tea was fantastic. The bed in our one bedroom villa was comfortable.and the staff were there to help every step of the way. I would definitely go and visit again. This made my Bali holiday that much more of an experience.
Charlotte (10/5): Great stay at the Seminyak Icon - The hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Once I booked the hotel I got confirmation and also booked the complimentary shuttle pick up at the airport. The villa itself was great with our own private pool. The room was clean and spacious. The beds are so comfortable! The afternoon tea and breakfast in our room each morning was a great little touch. Staff at the hotel even organised a shuttle to take us to Seminyak Square free of charge. There are a few nice little restaurants within walking distance just be aware that the road is quite dark but a torch is provided in the room for you to use. Loved our stay at the Seminyak Icon.

JJ (10/5): Private pool villa - If you want complete privacy.. Hide in your own villa... Relax by the private pool and don't want to see anyone else around then YES this is the place. Location : located in a quite street so you may feel disconnected. It is 5-10 min walk from busy legian shopping street and 20-30 min walk to 66 beach. Free Shuttle service is available but limited availability. Villa : exactly what you see in the photos and virtual tour. Clean and Room service is one of the best. Every time you go out they organise your room. Pool is deep 1.25-1.5 m and long enough for a swim. Food : breakfast had limited choice as well as a la carte menu. But prices are very reasonable comparing with restaurants in Seminyak. High tea is amazing. +++ Staff : very friendly. Always smile and greet you. Almost all the places we visited we experience this. Bali people are very friendly. Mini bar is free so what is in there you can consume without a cost. Negatives As lot of people mention in the comments villa had 3 keys and sliding doors were a struggle to lock. Lighting in side the bedroom and bathroom was not good enough. Felt very dull and dark at night. Bathroom was bit smaller and commode to close to shower glass. When you sit your legs hits on the glass so have to sit side ways. Bed was not comfortable. We complained and they tried their best to help but for this level of villa that mattress was not very comfy. Towels looks very old.
KINGSLY (10/5): Nice villa - The inclusive airport shuttle, Seminyak shuttle and breakfast and tea make our stay a nice one. The staff are very helpful and they helped us with all the reservations for day tours and dinner.
Coral (10/5): Quiet, safe, private villa - We were collected at the airport by a driver from Seminyak Icon and bypassed the other passengers who were haggling with taxi drivers. Something you don't need after a long flight. Arrived to find our room ready and staff waiting to greet us, every step of the way. Breakfast and High Tea are included and both of very good standard. We've been given a late checkout as our flight doesn't leave until 11.15 pm. Excellent service all round!

Verified traveler (8/5): Very good and relaxing Villa - It was the first hotel we stay in on our Honey Moon. The staff was amazing, very friendly and provided great service. we had 2 problems, the first one in the Pool lighting, i don't know why but during our 3 nights stays, they kept the light on in the pool only the first night, after that they started turning it off, I called them to turn it back on and they did for 10 minutes and turned it back off (2 times). the other problem is that there is no water in the hot tub, Only in the shower, so the hot tub was useless....
Uday (10/5): Excellent experience - Friendly staff who excel at customer service. Spacious suite with a separate living area and a private pool, all maintained superbly. They had their chef come in quite early and prepare my delicious breakfast before the usual time, as I had to leave for an early morning flight . It as clear that they will do whatever they can to make a guest delighted with their stay and leave with a smile.

M&M (10/5): Amazing ! - We had the best experience staying at Seminyak Icon. Location is great - the main street to Legian/Seminyak is a 2 min walk from the hotel. From the main street you can access the villa through an alley (short cut & very safe) however we noted when we took taxis back to the villa, they were not aware of this alleyway and would go all the way around to get to the villa which was usually double the price. We would recommend to take note of one of the shops next to the alley entrance and get dropped off there then walk back to the villa. Save yourself some s. Staff were very friendly. Villa was beautiful and clean. They light mosquito coils every day which is great. Pool was lovely! We booked our villa with breakfast which is highly recommended. Big selection of brekky menu which included 2 drinks (juice smoothie + coffee/tea), starters (cereal/fruit platter), main breakfast meal and a side meal (toast+jam). The hotel also provides complimentary high tea!!! Simply call front desk and they will bring the high tea to your villa (starts at 3pm). There is also complimentary airport pick-up/drop-off and shuttle service. Just make sure to phone in advance so they can advise their driver. We tried to use it once however their driver was stuck in traffic (there's traffic everyday) but that was our fault as we called with no notice. Thank you for the great stay. We will be back :)
mo (10/5): Quiet privacy and exclusivity in noisy seminyak - These villas are superbly designed for comfort and privacy. High walls, large sliding doors opening up to the pool, and and amply sized plunge pool were among the features that surprised us and lulled us into relaxation while the noise of crowds of seminyak were left at the door. We booked it thinking we would be able to have a comfortable room while exploring seminyak, but ended up spending most of the time exploring the comfort of the room instead. The breakfast was extremely generous, and anything we wanted was brought to our room, and the free sodas and other small offerings were a pleasant touch. And as annoying as our request could be, the staff were always smiling and willing to accommodate. Would recommend to all.

The pool was clean and so much fun to play in or relax next to. The massages at the spa were also very good. I highly recommend the alove vera one if you are sunburnt as it takes the heat and redness away. Overall it was fantastic and I would return again.

Nora (10/5): Perfect - We were on our honeymoon when we atayed over at seminyak icon. Everything from the room to their service was perfect. The staffs were extremely polite and smiling throughout our stay there. Greeted us on the phone or whenever they see us. Our breakfast was served in our villa and it was promptly sent. Tho the variety wasn't very wide but there's choices u can choose from. Location wise, it was okay but the villa was all the way in and when u're out on the streets, there are not alot of souvenirs shops around. Other than the location, everything was perfect.
katdee (6/5): Okay... but not great - A bit confused by so many "fantastic" reviews about Seminyak Icon. It's nice but then, there are a lot of nice villas in Seminyak. The photos on the website are 'real' and represent the villas well, but you don't realise how small the villas are until you live in them... and there are some annoying design faults. Others have mentioned the fact that you have to go out of the living area and through the bedroom to the bathroom, as well as the air conditioner in the living room not really being up to the challenge in hot weather. These things do annoy after a couple of days. For me, the villas felt pokey and a bit claustrophobic after a while. Things like the toilet seat being less than 30cm from the glass wall of the shower (careful you don't head butt the shower standing up!) and the dining room table being just big enough for a laptop and a cup of coffee... dinky.
