- Kathy Ann (8/5): - Very comfortable rooms, comfy beds. The front desk staff were always lovely and greeted us and chatted every time. Lovely people. The hotel is about a 5 min walk to the Port and all the restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was perfect but we aren’t big eaters so my opinion may be biased.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location - Very good location, walking distance from the Vieux Port. But this also the neighborhood isn’t quiet. Staff is very nice and helpful. The room was small but was fine for a short stay. Breakfast was also good.

This hotel is well placed for the old port (Vieux port) area and all the eateries along it, plus a couple of museums. The hotel does offer breakfast ,which we didn't try, but it seemed popular. Tea/coffee is available free at any time. Our room was pretty comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, but I'm not sure if the front desk is manned 24 hours.

- Jorge (10/5): - Absolutely best value , the location real good , looks new , the bathroom is nice and modern . Even the size of the elevator is big . The breakfast doesn't get better . Cant remember a better breakfast. The front desk clerk was the nicest , from the day shift to the grave yard clerk also extremely nice . From someone as i that takes 25 trips a year it doesn't get better.

Also, the parking voucher the hotel provided for parking in the shopping centre (where the lifts did not work and we had to carry the bags two floors) didn’t work and we ended up paying full price. The room is very small. I do not like the area the hotel is in myself but others may not have a problem with it.

We could not sleep and the front desk staff could only give us a fan. The amenities were dated and the bed side lamp on switch was connected to the lamp cord resting on the floor.

- diane (6/5): - Purchased accommodation on line in May , non- refundable. Staff couldnt find any record so had to pay on arrival. Located original bank receipt of AUD $397.51 payment after regaining internet. Staff eventually refunded payment AUD $332.56 after much discussion so down AUD $65 . Poor service. Tired hotel in a noisy location.

- Olivia (6/5): - The hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. While the location was near many sites, that entire area is dirty, loud and felt unsafe especially at night. I was very disappointed with the inaccuracy of the reviews that said it was in a great location but understand opinions are totally subjective. If you’re a female solo traveling, I recommend you look elsewhere. Again, the hotel itself and staff were nice but the location is terrible.

- Zohra (10/5): - Ashim was very sweet and nice guy that was at the reception Night Shift he was very helpful always smiling and professional .The guy who worked during the day was also as nice and professional I just don’t remember his name. The hotel room is very basic, but clean and I love that water pressure was really good and hot and we felt pretty safe even though the location has a hood kind of vibe, but it was totally safe to walk around even late at night and always find good affordable options for food

- mark Colin (10/5): - The hotel was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately I got robbed by the hotel entrance door on entering the hotel early Saturday morning. Be aware there are wallet snatchers in the area on foot and moped. Having said that, the security guard was excellent in calling the police and walking me to the police station. The hotel staff were very apologetic and offered to help in lots of ways.. I cannot thank them enough. Please be aware of guys talking to you on approach to the hotel. They wait for you to take your room key out of your wallet and then they snatch it and run off then jump on their mates moped and speed off

But it was difficult to find and does not have laundry facilities Please update your exterior pictures to reflect your new entrance sign and paint scheme so it's easier to find Also. You indicated having laundry facilities. You don't. You have laundry service. There are no laundry facilities available for customers.

Only suggestions would be covers for the breakfast buffet food, and non-dairy spread and milk and perhaps vegan cheese/cold cut substitutes at breakfast. Note that we had a room on the top floor but the lift goes only to the floor below. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was superb. The hotel is very central and just a few minutes from the old port.

Fruit salad been there a long time it was all brown and slimy, one jam i opened was mouldy, had to cook my own egg in a bun steamer unit. Certainly Not worth the price.

Hotel with very basic facilities and in the middle of very ethnic area. Vieux Port however very close. For short stays.

The only negative thing was that the air conditioning wasn't working (or we didn't know how to start it) and it was VERY hot. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We asked for restaurant recommendations and he gave us a whole list of places to choose and description of what food to try. Area of the hotel was very convenient as well.

Room is clean; bathroom, shower stall are new & modern; rainfall shower head has a very strong water pressure. Great location; walking distance to old port; hotel is in a vibrant community; near restaurants, boulangerie's, shops, etc. Allowed to park a bike in the hotel room; bike fits in the elevator. Hotel reception staff are friendly & speak fluent English.

The staff however, ALL of them, were fantastic! Always smiling, happy to help and very friendly. The staff made our stay worthwhile!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Everything you expect from a hotel - It was a perfectly normal hotel. Clean, nice staff, tiled bathroom and a good breakfast. Everything you would expect and need! The only negative is that the room was not very sound proof, you could hear everything in the corridor outside and that someone was on the phone next doors.

- F (4/5): Overpriced for poor experience ! - Really expensive over £250 per night for threadbare towels ( only one bath one for two people ?!?) very small room and dodgy neighbourhood ( fighting and shouting at 4am on the street). Only redeeming feature was the lady at reception in the morning who was very pleasant ( I didn’t catch her name sorry)

Some of the bathrooms are cramped, some maintenance is needed around the property. There is no parking, handicap or otherwise. The hotel is located on a street with only trams and pedestrian traffic, so your GPS will get you to the nearest corner (the hotel is over your left shoulder).

Both had lighting deficiencies (blown bulbs and broken fitting) One had no chair. Breakfast was very poor. The milk ran out. The croisants ran out. The orange juice ran out. The pain au chocolats were stale. The fruit, meats and cheese were very limited. The breakfast room chairs were hard. There was only one member of staff on duty and she couldn't cope.

Central to everything we needed, we spent our first night in Marseille here. The staff however, were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. For a one night stay over this hotel will meet all your needs.
- Han (8/5): Close to old port and train station - It was easy to navigate to this hotel and staff also give suggestions on places to visit. It is close to the old port which makes a walk relaxing and no worries about missing any transport back to hotel.
- anonymous (4/5): Hotel room mix up - Staff gave copy of our room key to other hotel resident and he opened our room , my husband only have underwear on . Glad i wasnt in the room . What about if they stoled our stuff, luggages and valuables ? It took our whole 2 days stay before they were able to fix the room mix up. The manager and couple of receptionists were nice . Cant open our drapes because neighbors able to see inside of our room .
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient and clean hotel, very helpful staff - The hotel is located on a main street and is very close to the old port of Marseille. It is in a great location to walk and explore the old port, specialty local food areas, museums/historic buildings, and various shopping districts. The staff members are friendly and very helpful.

- Mike (8/5): Nice hotel near Marseille old port. - Stayed one night while visiting Marseille. This is a nice little hotel very close to the Centre Bourse and the old port, well within walking distance of the sights of the city, as well as the St. Charles rail station. My only criticism of the hotel is that the wifi could definitely be improved.
- Shamiram (4/5): Disappointed. - The area is dirty. There were dirty laundry and a bucket of dirty water in the hallway. Very hard to park almost got into accident. Aim very very disappointed at best western. I felt like I was in third world country not in France. Here

- Andy Flowers (8/5): Nice hotel, close to harbour - Nice hotel within easy walking distance of harbour and main areas. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and adequate. Around hotel just needed a tidy and freshen up.
- Sonia (10/5): Mid week break. - Traveled via euro star, two stops on metro which was just a few minutes walk to hotel. Hotel was close to all modes of transport and tourist information centre. The harbour was a five minute walk with a great variety of restaurant's around the harbour. The visit to lovely brand new Shopping mall was two stops on the Tram which ran past the hotel. Brought a 72 hour city pass which gave access to museums and all transport for travelling around Marseilles.
