Guest Reviews
- AMANDA (3/5): - Location Dirty facility rude staff late check in time due to room not being ready
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Location was perfect for night at the Theater Poor area roof had mold in corners
- Campbell (5/5): 200$for one night is outrageous! Soaring Eagle Waterpark is 150$ one night four water park passes. - We enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the soft beds. We did not like that the pool opened at 9:00 a.m. making it difficult to get a morning swim. When we are on the road we like to swim in the morning before breakfast. Online it says free Continental breakfast. There is no free breakfast. Also we planned on eating at the restaurant Tanglewood inside the hotel, after a long day at a basketball tournament we did not want to leave to get food and as soon as we walk in the restaurant we were not greeted by staff but told by a frustrated server that the restaurant was way too busy and if we wanted food it would be a really long time so we might as well go somewhere else. That was frustrating. As the restaurant is advertised through digital media on the TV and online and on booking.com as an excellent place to eat. We never got to try it. When we looked into the restaurant there was maybe 15 people inside the restaurant eating. The workout room was disappointing as well. Only two machines worked and they were basic really cheap workout machines.
- Gilbert (2/5): -
- Donato (8/5): - Niente da segnalare in particolare Avevo una stanza fin troppo grande ma il problema più importante era che dal lavabo la pressione dell' acqua era modestissima..
- Jeffrey (7/5): A bit pricy but a fairly nice facility. - Bed was comfortable and restaurant food was good. It was a great location for our conference. Good facility to meet our needs. Water pressure was terrible. Needed to start showering on Wednesday to finish by Friday. While the food in the restaurant was very good service was a bit on the slow side. Not many amenities within walking distance.

- James (5/5): -
- Dennis (9/5): It was good. - The restaurant was very good.
- James (5/5): Disappointed - I liked the size of the room we had. The lobby area is relaxing Almost any question or request we had was met with a no. We asked for a late check out on Sunday and they said no late check outs on the weekend. Asked to change laundry detergent and fabric softener sold at the desk to be charged to the room and they said cash only, they pull out beds were dirty and the furniture in the room was dated stained and ready to be replaced.
Food took an hr for a sandwich and had to cancel.
- Alise (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Comfortable bed! - Location, it was clean and you had enough towels. The beds were super comfortable. The price was high compared to other hotels of the same standards
- Marchelle (8/5): -
- Zac (5/5): It wasn’t a bad stay. But could’ve been a much better experience - It was convenient for everything we did There were issues with some of the facilities we had in our room. And the staff at the restaurant attached were rude and unprofessional when it came to us wanting to eat there
- Dawn (9/5): -
- Janelle (10/5): -
- Stepanski (9/5): Staff were excellent very friendly and formative excellent local arra restaurants - Road noise was disturbing
- Krista (6/5): - Just ok. Pretty pricy and expected a more updated property. Not dirty but not sparkling. Limited choices in the small town. No discount arranged for wedding attendees.
- Daniel (10/5): - Clean room. Friendly staff.
- Nicole (6/5): - The room had no water pressure. The sink also did not have any water pressure. When alerting the staff of this find, they were not concerned nor offered to look into it.
- Sokhotey (10/5): - Will stay here again
- Kristina (8/5): - The hotel wasn’t bad. Our bed had a dirty foot print on it, our side table had a ton of dust and grime on the lamps. Room felt outdated, especially with the popcorn ceiling and multiple layers of paint on the wall. I was really turned off by the two marijuana dispensaries next to it and across the street. Unfortunately it was our only choice as we were in town for a softball tournament.
- stacey (10/5): - Great staff. Cute area
- Tina (2/5): - I have stay in a lot of hotels and motels. This one doesn’t rate very high. More like okay
- Laurie (8/5): - No housekeeping or at least it didn’t seem as though there was anything. And anyone could walk into the hotel at anytime. No real hotel security. Anyone could access the elevators and the hotel rooms. Staff was kind and friendly. Bartender was very helpful and nice.
- Laura (8/5): - Stay was good. Rooms do need new towels though and toilet seat with a lid. Also, maybe extra blankets and pillows.
Would definitely stay again.
- Zolan (8/5): -
- Julie (2/5): - For $150 + per night I would expect bright clean snag free towels. The west side of the outside stairwell was gross and dirty. Garbage and an old suitcase at the very bottom.
- Kerry (6/5): - The entry lobby is impressive and staff are friendly. However, the rooms were average at best. No view from the windows. Bathroom was sub-standard as were the mattresses on the beds. I would not choose this hotel again if I am in the area.
- Megan (8/5): Nice - Traveling with dog for dog show. Front desk girl was clueless about the room and not professional
- fredrick (10/5): - in downtown area
- Michelle (8/5): - The property was clean but worn down. Staff was really great!
- David (8/5): - I thought it was very nice compared to a few holiday inn express stats lately. This was a no complaint stay. Thank you
- tamra (10/5): - It was good
- Harry (10/5): - Good Stay
- Irwin (3/5): won't stay there again - bed was comfy the towels were awful, the price was way way too high for what we got
- Allen (10/5): - It was very easy to find clean and comfortable
- Jerry (4/5): - Had them jumble up my dad and is reservation; and then I got billed twice he got billed 0 times. Confusion with rates; room had no natural light or real window. Staff was friendly but had more headaches then I should have
- fred (10/5): - good time
- John (8/5): - The beds were very soft on the edges that faced each other, obviously from people sitting on them all the time.
All the reviews said that the hotel restaurant was very good. We decided to eat for one night. It was horrible. I ordered fish and chips which everyone raved about it obviously was frozen way over cooked and the fish was tough and chewy. My wife wanted a side salad and a piece of salmon. The side salad is nothing more than a handful of lettuce out of a bag with a few carrot slices and the salmon was cooked beyond belief. Needless to say, we took a few bites paid our bill and went somewhere else.
The hotel overall was good. I would say the restaurant is nothing more than low rate bar food.
- Lisa (10/5): - Frien
- courneya (10/5): -
- April (8/5): 1st time stay - The stay was fast and furious! Very comfy however was disappointed that there wasn’t any breakfast available.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very comfortable facility, clean and quiet. Nothing
- rich (6/5): - Every thing great
- lisa (10/5): Comfortable at the Comstock inn - The staff was very pleasant. It is an older hotel but the bed was very comfortable and a decent size room. The only strange thing was the window looked out into the lobby and directly into the rooms across the way so drapes were drawn. The bar (Tanglewoods?) was great the bartender Mindy was so personable we stayed for awhile because of her. Had a good time. We had a dinner on the train in town or we would have tried the food it looked like a good menu overall it was a nice room and fun place reasonably priced
- Sarah (10/5): - Amazing time
- Tommy (6/5): Our stay - Stayed 3 nights, the first day we noticed that the phone in the room didn't work so we brought it to their attention and they said that they would fix it but never did, the second day we had to ask a cleaning lady for soap for our room... the elevator made a lot of noise and jurked, made us nervous... the staff was very friendly...
- Diane (2/5): - Bathroom door got stuck and tore skin off my toes also showerhead came right off and water everywhere. One bed you couldn't sleep on. Very lumpy and easy to fall off. Staff didn't know when management is coming in. Also didn't know time of breakfast. Fruitflies everywhere..Bad experiences.Thank you
- Kara (10/5): - The property is clean, and the staff was professional and kind.
- Robert (10/5): - Property is located in downtown Owosso...a very well maintained and enjoyably walkable...attached bar/restaurant was nice...attended a concert almost next door at Lebowski Center...great venue.. .cafe at airport worth your consideration
- Patricia (6/5): - Property is old and run down.
- Kathy (10/5): - Very clean beds comfortable the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was very good
- Cross (10/5): -
- Ann (8/5): - It was all nice
- Shannon (10/5): - Great stay!
- Jared (10/5): - Place was great, location was great
- Carlie (8/5): - We had a great time, but our room’s electrical outlets were not working properly and the toilet wouldn’t flush without our knowledge of simple plumbing.
- Danielle (10/5): - ..
- sherry (10/5): - Beautiful hotel
- Steven (6/5): - Toilets suck to low to ground for person of average height. Im 5’10 felt like i was sitting on the floor. Only other issue was the folks down the hall smoking there pot. Which filled the hallway.
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Kippley (8/5): Nice, clean hotel. Would recommend - Good location convenient It was nice, bed was decent but a little uncomfortable for me
- Allyssa (8/5): - Overall it was a great stay. Very accommodating, and quiet. Peaceful and relaxing.
- Connie (10/5): Exceptional - Booked stay many of times and never been disappointed Na
- Louisa (8/5): - The Comstack Inn was good, the staff was very nice and accommodating.
- Susan (8/5): - Place was beautiful and staff super nice great check in check out.
- Donna (10/5): Lovely - The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and lovely. The location was perfect. Nothing. We liked everything.
- Ashley (8/5): - The bed was extremely comfortable and soft! Building is gorgeous! Will be back!
- Tylee (10/5): - Not too bad, outdated but clean
- Jackie (8/5): - Was a comfortable place.
- Kathy (10/5): - They had a pool, exercise room and arcades - gaming area. The restaurant and bar were great didn't have to drive anywhere.
- Susan (10/5): - Good. Traffic is loud
- Kristie (10/5): - Friendly staff, made us feel at home!
- Christina (8/5): - Nice pool area although a hot tub would have been great. Restaurant in the hotel was ok. Hallways on the 3rd floor were uncomfortably heated (in March). It had to be 80 degrees up there.
- Kimberly (6/5): Pleasant - Location was close to our weekend event. The elevator smelled of smoke. The room was humid and warm. The halls were extremely warm. The room was dated. There were no signs to rooms off the elevator or signs in halls guiding to the elevator. The paint was peeling above the shower. Restaurant was closed on Sunday.
- Cross (8/5): Very good -
- Cross (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nuha (4/5): - Book this for my husband as it's the only hotel close to his work and you needed to spend the night close to avoid driving in a snow storm. The rooms were not very clean which was not the biggest issue, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever. My husband had so much pain in his back the next day at work! The mattresses are very outdated and so are the pillows! He said he would rather drive in the rain or snow next time then spend a night there
- Kristie (10/5): - Amazing Staff!
- Fawcett (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): - Great stay- very nice facility
- Mandy (10/5): Good times - We had a great time. The team was very accommodating. The kids swam all day. We hung out in the lobby. They have set up very nice. For people to gather and just hang out with family. We listened to our music and had a couple drinks. All of the employees were very friendly and nice to the kids that were running around. They have a little arcade for the kids. We will be back. Oh the beds are the BEST!!
- Ethan (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (8/5): Only choice in downtown Owosso - Have been using this property for several years when visiting family. Price has gone way up but services cut back. For example, Was surprised at cost of a glass of wine being $9.00 when menu posts it as $8. No comment from staff when questioned. Breakfast was cut out a few years ago. Bar open minimally and not for breakfast. Unfortunately there are no other choices in downtown area
- Becky (10/5): Comstock inn - Was clean & comfortable, middle of town so able to walk where we wanted to go. Restaurant & bar were nice & prices were average.
- Ashley (10/5): - Staff was really nice
- Betty (10/5): - Staff is awesome!
- Carsen (7/5): Good -
- Roxanne (10/5): - Everything was good nice and people were nice too
- Melissa (10/5): I was amazed at how nice everyone who worked there! - Friendly staff! Everything was great no complaints!

- KEVIN (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfy
- DONALD (10/5): Stay here - Best hotel in the area.
- DONALD (10/5): - Always a great place, best in service, bedt staff.
- Red (10/5): Excellent worth the money - Worth the money good employees I left items and on my next stay they still had my stuff and made it a point to get it back to me
- Charles (9/5): Perfect for our Family - The staff was great! Facility exactly what we needed for our special family gathering. Some of the vending and game machines didn’t work properly.
- Red (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): - Close to train station for polar Express train
- Jennifer (10/5): Convenient - Everything was great. Restaurant was yummy. No hot tub. Needs breakfast option.
