Some of the carpets were dirty for a newly refurbished hotel . The flooring in the dining room and bar were sticky under foot and the tables weren’t clean.

I asked for a room at the top of the building and was given one on the ground floor above the bar so couldn’t sleep until everything had shut down. Bathroom was very basic for a gold deluxe room as they call it and the hallways were a bit grubby.

Nice shower Thumping music from music bingo that reverberated into our bedroom until 11pm. Then base music from breakfast music woke us at 8.15pm. On site car park chaotically crammed so didn't use.

The breakfast buffet was really good value and the dinner in the three chimneys restaurant I would highly recommend. The family room with the bunk beds was well laid out and perfect for a larger family.

Fenster konnte man gänzlich nach oben schieben und sich auf den kleinen Balkon setzen, aber vorsicht vor den Möwen. Jacuzzi und mini-sauna gegen Aufpreis vorhanden (20$ P. Pers.) Beschreibung des Hotels etwas irreführend, der Spa-Bereich und auch parken sind nicht inklusive! Und dafür war das Hotel doch recht teuer.

I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat in the hotel, there were a lot of people eating so it must be fair. The check in system seamed a bit slow, just one member of staff with a tablet and when he checked someone inn, he then took them to there room and left guests at the reception. (may be worth one reception staff and a porter)

Definitely a budget option, but friendly staff, great location on the sea front and the bar/restaurant looked good and a fair variety on the menu options. (We ate elsewhere tho so can't rate the actual food). What wasn't mentioned in the booking site is the car park is not on site (apparently it was mentioned in the confirmation email, but I missed that) the free parking is on two sites within Weymouth pne was a 10min walk, the other about 17mins walk away from the hotel, and both sites were unstaffed, open, unsecured car parks. The first one we went to had a group of boy racers hanging about and the second had a group of teens on bikes and mopeds. Maybe I'm being cynical but I didn't feel safe leaving my car there. The only other option is the on site car park which they charge £10 per night to use. As I was only staying two nights I just paid for that, but if you're staying longer it would make quite a difference to the cost of your stay.

Coffee maker with hot chocolate and biscuits in room. Very comfortable and clean bed. Creaky bathroom door but otherwise everything was really good.

- Karen (6/5): - The separate annex and kind staff The property was still being refurbed and the signs for entry were not clear and we ended up having to walk through a very dusty and untidy part of the hotel. Finally we got hold of the reception and they directed us to a side door.

- amber (9/5): - Breakfast was great, Staff were absolutely amazing. We had a couple of issues one of which was not the hotels fault at all and the staff sorted it out immediately without delay. Went out of their way to ensure i was comfortable and the maintainence worker even went to get a female member of staff to accompany him into mine and my daughters room while he fixed the shower and was incredible respectful. The third floor rooms were not very soundproof. and awkward to access. and the sofa bed was not the best. if you can afford it i would definitely upgrade to a better room.

It got everything you need in that jubilee hotel and the staff was so friendly and good manner. I didn’t like the fact that we had small duvet which wasn’t big enough for me and my tall partner!

- Potty65 (10/5): Excellent hotel highly recomend the jubilee. - Friendly staff and very helpful james even offered us an upgrade and showed us to our room nice pub and entertainment was good also a restaurant on site close to beach on seafront the room was lovely very clean and nicely decorated bed was very comfy also. Parking was ten pounds i think it should be free for hotel guests really.

- Sharon (3/5): We are not fussy people, but this was not a good experience and we could not wait to leave. - Located on the Esplanade, which could have been a good thing, however it was very brightly lit and the curtain was not blockout so the room was very bright all night. The room was noisy, from the hotel’s pub and also the traffic on the extremely busy road. The lift was not working. One of the mattresses was way too soft and kept tipping me out of bed. The car parking was super hard to navigate and we had to leave the keys at reception so they could move our car to allow other guests to access their cars. No phone in the room. WiFi was too slow to use. Tiny shower.
- Chani (8/5): - Room was good, refurbished was nice and bed was comfy. Too much text on the check in messages. The spa part was misleading as it isn't included in your stay and needs prebooking. Would stay again though.

- Mandy (4/5): A night stay but have to raise a query for bare basic issues (curtains) - Location The floor was unbalanced. The toilet being directly behind the door in 115 and bathroom very small. The bed legs stuck out and were liable to tripping over. No hanging space in bathrobe for robes. The curtains do not meet in the middle or edges. Sofa wasn’t clean. Lift is TINY. Dog friendly hotel however too much out of control. Car park is very tight and £10 a night.
- D (4/5): Adequate for our needs. Room for improvement. - Pluses: Room was clean. The decor was nice. It was quiet. The bed base and headboard were also nice. There was a hand book in the room , giving all the information needed for a stay as well as the food menu and spa treatments on offer. Good location right opposite the famous Weymouth beach and near to the town. There is a bus stop outside of the building which is convenient if travellers wish to go to the catch the no 2 to Radipole/Mercery Rd to access Sainsbury's, Aldi, Costa, B&M, Dunelm and the soon to open, M&S superstore. or you can catch the no 10 to Dorchester. The railway station is a 5 minute walk. away. There is a car park for those travelling by car, which is a bonus in Weymouth. There were the usual sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, milk however I do not drink the brands that were there and the option of soya milk would have been nice. As well as a kettle. The room had a large mirror near the bathroom and a hairdryer. There is enough cupboard space to store clothes, shoes and bags if you are having a longer stay. The bathroom was clean. the shower water pressure was good and offered adequate hot water, as did the sink. Shower gel provided and it wasn't' watered down. A blanket was provided. The bedding was clean but a little tired looking. Lift access. Bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Free WI-FI is provided but it isn't secure. The TV and remote were in working order. We did not choose the breakfast option. Minus The heating was on a central control system so there was not an option to choose to have it on or off. The valve was broken. Was a little cold in the bathroom due to it being a frosty night. Although the bedroom curtains were co-ordinated with the decor and kept out the light, they could be wider and replaced with ring curtains to make it easier to open and close them. The bathroom would benefit from having a blind at the window instead of flimsy voile curtains. The sink needs replacing as it has a large crack in it which has been glued together. The shower unit could do with an upgrade. For those with a lactose intolerance or vegan diets, cartons of soya milk should be an option in the rooms. My worse gripe, is that the mattress was awful. Thin and lumpy. The pillows were also thin and lumpy. We ended up sleeping on top of the quilt. Not good if you have back, joint issues or bone conditions. Sort it out Jubilee Hotel by buying new mattresses for your rooms and investing in better pillows with covers underneath the pillow slips. You really have let yourselves down with this aspect. It wasn't' worth the £70 paid particularly due to the condition of the mattress and pillows.
- Emma (10/5): - Our stay here was great. From being greated at the bar, Chloe taking our checking and showing us to our roo, to the night time staff we had a great time. Great location. The night time entertainment was fun with music bingo and karaoke. The host was great didnt catch a name but was definitely born to have a entertaining role. Great customer service.. My daughter loved the games room and in the morning played the interactive darts which was so fun. Ate in the restaurant jn the evening and had breakfast too. Both great. Will definitely come again. Oh and the cocktails are amazing Thank you We were not there long enough

- Byrne (8/5): Stunning views and delightful staff - The location was fantastic and the view from our room was stunning. The staff were wonderful throughout, particularly James who was so accommodating. As we were only staying one night we didn't have time to enjoy all the wonderful facilities and activities they had to offer but if we go again, we will definitely make the most of this. We ate at the bar restaurant in the evening and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Again, staff were lovely. We loved everything but the bed was a little too soft for us however, we know that's a personal preference and some people love a cosy, soft bed to snuggle into.

- Clare (10/5): Great stay at a great location with brilliant staff! - The staff in this hotel are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Was upgraded and delighted with my room. Clean and well equipped. Hotel bar was also lovely. Although we didn’t eat there the food looked great. As well as Al of this my fur babies were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Nothing !
