The only thing is that our room didn't have hand soap but we used body wash. Staff was extremely kind and welcoming, which you don't see often. N/a

- G5383ATjohnk (6/5): Just OK - I have a few bits of feedback about the property. First, it was really cold in NJ in the aftermath of the big blizzard, and in order to get my room warm I had to set the thermostat to 78 degrees, and it never got to 78. It felt more like 70 or 72. That was not a problem for sleeping (I dropped it to 74 and it was probably in the high 60âs or low 70âs), but mornings were⌠letâs say âbriskâ even when I attempted to crank it back up. Second, the water in the shower never got beyond sort-of-warm on the first morning. I ran it at the hottest setting for at least 10 minutes, and it went from cold to warm-ish. A cool/ chilly shower is not how I want to start my day. Since I was on an upper floor I thought maybe I was just a long way from the water heater. On morning 2 I turned the shower on to the hottest setting as soon as I got up. After maybe 15 minutes it was warm again, but not hot and not comfortable. On morning 3, my final day, with apologies for what I may have done to the water bill, I gave it 25 minutes, and at great (great!) length, it got warm enough that I could actually notch the setting back very slightly and have a nice shower. On day 1, there was no bath gel. The cannister was empty. Once I asked for a refill for the next morning, they did give me a new, full one. My final quibble is, like many hotels, they use the thin, 1-ply toilet paper. Does that really save enough money for them to justify that choice, especially when one has to use 3 or 4 times the normal amount. Now, on the plus side, the room was quiet (my universal first request) and clean, and the young man who checked me in was cheerful, friendly, and very helpful. Overall, manageable, but not a great stay. As a colleague of mine says, on a business trip we have enough to do without having to manage the hotel. Agreed.
- JKreview (6/5): Decent - Decent hotel, could be better. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 507, after arriving we took a shower that was luke warm at best. The shower curtain was installed correctly so the curtain kept sliding away from the wall. You had to hold it while taking a shower or the water would go all over the floor. The toilet was weak. The heater was good until 8 am when it started to make a loud humming sound.

I immediately informed the receptionist and asked for a simple tub mat, yet he showed absolutely zero concernâno apology, no urgency, no nothing. We didnât even have time to file a formal complaint because we were flying out the next morning, but the lack of basic care and safety was unbelievable. This experience completely ruined our stay.

- kevinkorell (8/5): Decent stay, but lacked an important amenity - As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio. I had been to this hotel once before, so this was my 2nd visit. One amenity I have come to expect is complimentary spring water. I don't enjoy drinking tap water, not knowing its source. Yet when I visited the front desk (relatively early in the afternoon) I was told that they were out of spring water. I was not told whether it would be available later. This meant I had to brush my teeth with questionable New Jersey tap water. Everything else with the room was great. No issues with WiFi, TV, nor climate control. Ample room in the suite for my belongings. Bathroom had plenty counter space. Breakfast was satisfactory, as I was able to get both sausage and eggs.

- turning50NewJersey (8/5): Nice stay - Very nice hotel! The peeps at front desk are A+. BE sure to bring your own drinks, etc. as the prices at the hotel are VERY pricey. Free breakfast was good. Downside: Asked for additional pillows twice from the cleaning ladies..they yessed me to death and no go. never got them. Then again, there were 3 wedding parties that weekend so maybe not enoug pillows? who knows? the room pillows are like pancakes so as for more as soon as you get there!!! other than that, no issues!

- Molly (2/5): No refund - Although I tried many times to contact support services for any type of refund - I did not receive anything. We were unable to go on this trip and I even bought the insurance. Hotels.com just stopped replying to me or giving me any option for any type of refund. I ended up paying $250 and couldn't even go. I will not be using this service again which is unfortunate because I was a loyal customer but the customer service absolutely failed me as well as the added insurance which did nothing.

There was an issue where the electricity had to be turned off for about an hour but we just went out to eat and by the time we came back it was back on. The staff did well with communicating what would be happening and when it was back on. I appreciated the staff checking in periodically to see if everything is going well. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was good and provided variety.

When I complained, we were told it was an upgrade even though my son had to sleep on a pull out couch. The manager then lied and said they called to let us know and he also said we were offered a refund, and none of this was true. A very bizarre experience. I would never stay here again.

- Barnes (6/5): Pleasant - Close to my business meeting The hotel was under renovation, and I was not aware until I arrived. The smell of paint and building supplies in the hallway and near the elevators... each day of my stay. Also, in the bathroom, they did not have a toliet paper holder tissue sat on the back of the toliet, which I had increased concerns about infection control. Lastly, the TV mounted on the wall was at an angle, not directly in front of the bed for a clear view. The frig was slightly cool, and the two chairs colors did not match. I did not feel for the amount of money charged that it was worth it. Let me also say that I usually don't leave reviews, but this hotel stay bothered me because the price did not match the stay I'm used to.

- Z9576RNsharonr (2/5): Very upset.. manager made things a whole lot worse - My sister had made a reservation for her and I overnight this past weekend . She requested a physically accessible room as I have a muscular dystrophy. We requested 2 queens beds . We checked online and saw that they were charging anywhere from $30-$40 more a night for an accessible room. My sister called them thinking it mustâve been a mistake. Since itâs illegal to charge more for an accessible hotel room in the US. The person working at the desk said yes that was true. My sister then asked to speak to the manager. After given the run around.. she was eventually connected with the manager who promptly transferred over to reservations. Totally disregarded, he clearly wanted nothing to do with the conservation. We stayed overnight and we were still charged more for the âaccessibleâroom after pointing out that itâs the illegal to do so. This so called âaccessibleâ hotel room had some grab bars. Not a walk in shower . It had a tub which is not so easy for someone who has physical limitations .. and it had a low toilet seat which was very difficult for me . Not really sure what was special about this room. It did very little to help me. We asked numerous times today while we were there to speak with the manager . He was there all day in his back office .. but we repeatedly were told that he was in a â conference callâ and wasnât able to speak with us. Convenient. The desk clerks were all very nice. It wasnât their fault. They were just doing what they were told. But the manager wouldnât give us the time of day. He knowingly took advantage of a disabled person and showed his true colors. Disgusting .

- brianoS3978FQ (10/5): An exceptional stay, and amazing hotel - Wow! This hotel was so clean, the room was cozy and comfortable and I had NO negative things to say about it. Staff was very friendly! Included breakfast, although simple, was still good. Bathroom was huge, shower could easily fit 5 people, haha. Everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel smelled clean. Room had a fridge and microwave. Hotel is very close to the Jersey Shore outlets and there is a good restaurant a minute away as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We really appreciated that pets were allowed and that we could travel with our dog - this is why we chose this hotel and it worked out perfectly. We only stayed one night, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - breakfast, coffee, etc. The staff were attentive and friendly.

- RnAinSD (10/5): Very friendly staff, convenient and comfortable - I will be staying here whenever I return to visit family. This was a first time stay at this particular hotel for me. I came to town for an unexpected family emergency. I had to make a few quick changes to my arrival date and the morning of my flight I noticed my stay was cancelled. Apparently, there was an automated attempt to bill my card overnight (2:00 AM my time) of the day I was to travel, and credit card fraud protection denied it. Just an unfortunate event that was nobody's fault. When I called the hotel directly, I was told the room rate I was given was no longer available (it was an online rate) and I should try to rebook online. I will admit, I was a bit discouraged it couldn't be resolved at that time, and my new rate was MUCH more expensive per night. I arrived in the evening and the gentleman working the front desk was extremely welcoming and friendly. The next morning, I spoke to Angel about the situation, explaining it and why I was in town. She worked with the hotel manager and was able to get me a comparable room rate as I previously booked. I really appreciate the hotel teams help. Breakfast was very good and convenient. Again, the staff was very friendly each and every morning. The room I was in was spacious, clean and comfortable. In my opinion the location is perfect. It's just out of the way of high traffic/busy areas. It was quiet, but very close to everything you might want. There is a restaurant (Brick House Tavern, Super friendly staff) that is an easy walk to get to which was nice for a quick bite to eat. I will definitely be staying here when I come back to visit.
