Los animales en recuperación me parece perfecto pero como veterinaria solo uno vi en mal estado de salud . Deberían subier y publicar los animales que rescatan para dar transparencia y liberar al resto . Nos dejo un gusto amargo esa situación Hace falta educar a los lugareños en el pueblo también vimos pájaros silvestres cautivos , encima estan frente a una reserva es insólito

- Marina (10/5): - Este hotel es una maravilla. Un lugar de descanso en medio de la naturaleza. Destacar las vistas increíbles allá donde estes. Las instalaciones muy cuidadas y super limpias. Piscina infinity super tranquila, limpia y grande, una maravilla. La comida exquisita y sin ser demasiado cara, totalmente recomendable las cenas tranquilas alli. Y desayuno de buena calidad y con varias opciones. Todo una maravilla! Mejor incluso que las fotos! No es “no gustar”. Simplemente, tener en cuenta que para moverte tiene que tener/coger coche si quieres ir a Boca Chica (pueblito con dos calles pero agradable para salir a comer). Y las excursiones son con barcos/lanchas, ya que si o sí, si quieres buenas playas y actividades, debes cogerlas. No hay apenas diferencia de precio con guias locales y son de gran calidad. Las recomiendo!

From the moment we arrived, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff really stood out, they made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire visit. The rooms are new, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Everything felt high-end and luxurious, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. One of the highlights for our family was the infinity pool. It was perfect for the kids, offering both fun and a great place to unwind while enjoying the surroundings. We also loved the connection to nature around the property. Seeing the frogs (Dendrobates auratus) up close was such a unique experience, and the variety of birds added to the peaceful atmosphere. The guacamaya (parrot) project was truly inspiring and showed a real commitment to conservation. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and nature. We would definitely love to come back! -

- vabeachmd (10/5): Relaxing 3 night stay with family - Wonderful, relaxing stay for our family of 3 for my son’s college spring break. This is a small, boutique property with approx. 18 “rooms” but actually separate little bungalows around the peaceful grounds. Stayed 3 nights in #16, a newly renovated room, perched high up with spectacular views. You do have an uphill climb to this room. A spacious room with 2 Queen beds, large bathroom, mini fridge, plenty of storage. 10 steps down to the infinity pool, which was like our own private pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Meals were freshly prepared and catered to all palates(vegan/veg et ). Breakfast included daily, fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruit, hot coffee, bread/butter and the best strawberry jam I’ve ever had! Further choices of eggs/pancakes/yogurt& granola. Dinner always had a fresh catch and you cannot go wrong with ceviche any day. Lots of activities available. We took an exploratory boat ride/snorkeling trip our second day! Saw dolphins, sat on a beautiful beach. Didn’t see many fish due to turbulent waters but still a great 1/2 day! I took advantage of the spa & had a lovely 60 min deep tissue massage. Would gladly stay here again to unwind and relax away from the city.

The property had many areas to explore with walkable paths and benches. Beautiful infinity pool in a quiet setting with a nice view. The restaurant was top notch and the service was friendly and attentive. The howling Howler monkeys were a bit loud and creepy first thing in the morning but it was part of the amazing rainforest experience.

Nothing as far as other eating or shopping options in Boca Chica, so take what you need. Our cabin was way uphill and we're old, so ended up driving to reception and restaurant/pool area.

- Ulrike (10/5): Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt an der Pazifikküste - unbedingt zu empfehlen! - fantastisches Hotel direkt in einer Bucht gelegen inmitten eines schönen Gartens. Wunderbar zuvorkommender Service, sehr schöne Bungalows top ausgestattet sogar mit kleiner Küche, wo man Essen selbst zubereiten konnte - was überhaupt nicht nötig war - das Restaurant war top. Egal, was man bestellt hat (Fleisch, Fisch, Pasta, Vorspeisen) - alles war auf den Punkt zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Essenspreise waren für diese Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt, nicht überzogen und sogar bei weitem niedriger als in anderen Hotels gleichen Levels auf unserer Reise. Das Bad war ein Highlight an sich mit großer Regendusche und mit Ausblick in den Garten (getönte Scheiben -man konnte von außen nicht hinein sehen). es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen!

The food in the restaurant was really good. Their yogurt at breakfast with fresh fruit was the best I had in a long time. Dinners were delicious and everyone in our group loved their food. The staff were kind and very helpful. We had a lot of help with our luggage getting to the room and leaving.

It would be nice if the use of kayaks or paddleboard was free of charge.

- mjssmd (10/5): Great experience, beautiful location. - Beautiful location. Activities including daytime and sunset boat excursions and kayaking are available on site. We were fortunate to see many dolphins and snorkel in 84 degree water from the boat. We stayed in a casita close to the water, which was perfect for watching the sunsets. The restaurant is excellent, also overlooking the water. The prices are reasonable, given that they have a captive audience. The hotel is an hour car ride from David, but there’s no need to leave the hotel. When we had to leave to check out a medical issue, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging transportation. Highly recommend this property. You can depend on the staff to make your stay wonderful.

Früh morgens um 5 Uhr haben die Brüllaffen uns geweckt. Das war aber überhaupt kein Problem, im Gegenteil, wir fanden es schön und interessant. Das gesamte Team ist absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Chef selbst ist auch ein sehr netter und freundlicher Mensch. Wenn wir wieder nach Panama kommen, dann werden wir auf jeden Fall diese Anlage wieder besuchen. Wir fanden das Bungalow sehr schön, ist aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty: a thorough personal tour, a welcome juice, insider tips on the facilities. Our room was beautiful, eco chic, with views of the jungle plants and the water. The kitchen was well appointed, but we never used it. Breakfast off the menu was included, and the restaurant was amazing. Our first evening we took the sunset cruise through an enormous mangrove archipelago. Drinking wine and watching the sun go down was fabulous. The next day we snorkeled and had a picnic lunch on a nearly deserted beach, courtesy of the island exploration tour. We spent several days being pampered in a gorgeous spot. We’d definitely come back!

- Elaine (10/5): This was the highlight of our month in Panama. We felt pampered and relaxed the entire stay. The food was amazing! - This is a luxury property in a beautiful area of Panama. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIP’s, from a personal orientation tour to a welcome drink to a room upgrade. The property offers fabulous excursions, such as a sunset cruise through the mangroves and an island exploration with snorkeling and a picnic lunch. The grounds are beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife. My recommendation is to fly into Davíd because it’s a long drive from Panama City.
- pennyo468 (10/5): Island Tour - Edgar our guide for the boat snorkeling tour was an angel for me being a non swimmer. He got me to be comfortable to be in the water and was by my side the whole time. Did I say I’m totally afraid of water. Our dolphin experience on the way back was so enjoyable to be entertained so close to the guide boat. It is a must tour to experience the surrounding islands.

Vriendelijk en zeer servicegerichte personeel. Eten was heerlijk! Het terrein is ruim waar je ook kunt wandelen naar een uitkijkpunt en papegaaien kunt spotten. Er valt helemaal niets op aan te merken, dit was echt 5 sterren waard.

The staff was so attentive from Odaly the manager to all the restaurant staff especially Sebastian, Ronnie, & Flore. We went fishing and caught a Spanish Mackerel. The restaurant cooked the fish and It was so delicious. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay. You all felt like family! We can’t wait to come back!

- rogi8 (10/5): Incredibly Beautiful, Incredibly Affordable - We spent six nights here over Christmas time. We stayed in rooms 15 and 16 with our family of four. The rooms were clearly re-done recently with very high end touches. The sliding glass doors tinted so you could see out to the amazing views even when you showered were a great example. Even with that they still had excellent blackout curtains. Both rooms were very spacious. The kitchen area is higher end than is necessary and we didn’t really utilize it. There is virtually nothing negative we can say about the room besides that you had to climb a hill to get there. The food was solid at the hotel although not spectacular granted we have pretty high standards. Also when you are eating the same food for six days it can be a lot but no major complaints except for slow service at times, but everyone was trying so hard and was so nice that we didn’t care. Also the English was excellent by the staff compared to the rest of our Panama hotels and they would alter dishes to your liking. We had one lunch at Sunset Cove next door. It was decent but similar cuisine and we didn’t feel the need to go back. We did many of the activities at the hotel as well on the water. This included the Mangrove Tour, Island Discovery Tour, Isla Secas Tour and Tubing. All were great although we had some issues with the boat on the Isla Secas tour but we came back and they were able to remedy it and then we went on the journey a bit later than expected. Back on land it was a nice place to relax and it was warm with a very light breeze most days. The one problem is a lack of shade. There are only a few shady seats by the main pool and none at the infinity pool. We dragged some chairs under a nice tree and that served its purpose. We loved the hotel and would consider coming back. Thanks to all of the people who were so gracious when they helped us.

- 420yulianab (10/5): Amazing Stay at Bocas del Mar! - We loved our stay at Bocas del Mar! The entrance is very lush and my 4-year-old was thrilled to spot the donkey as we drove in. The staff were all so kind and helpful, from check-in to checkout. Everyone spoke English well, which was very beneficial for my non-Spanish-speaking husband. We stayed in one of the new two-bedroom villas, and it was perfect for our family - spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. When my son came down with a fever, the team went above and beyond to get medicine delivered right to our room. The restaurant was fantastic! The chicken curry was delicious, and our son devoured his burger from room service. We also went on a sunset boat ride and another one the next day - both arranged by the hotel and absolutely amazing. Overall, the service, food, and views were all top-notch. We’d definitely stay here again! Enjoy our sunset photo from our view from dinner!

Der perfekte Urlaubsort! Die Bootstouren waren überragend gut! Wir wären in diesem kleinen Paradies gern noch länger geblieben! Absolut nichts. 10 von 10!

- J8868NZbrianr (10/5): Explore the Islands and Spectacular Marine Life of the Golfo de Chiriqui - This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Bocas Del Mar. The property is beautiful, the rooms are newly renovated with very tasteful design, and the entire staff is excellent. All three stays at this hotel have been wonderful. We spend our days fishing or exploring the Islands with Kerry Legget's Come Fish Panama guide services and are able to be picked up and dropped off at Hotel Bocas Del Mar's marina. Its a terrific way to explore the Golfo de Chiriqui and the islands around Boca Chica.

- Zoe (10/5): Hele mooie omgeving, leuke tours gedaan en super mooie kamers. - Fantastische mooie kamer, met balkon en prachtig uitzicht. De hottub was ook erg fijn. Het hotel ligt in een mooi gebied, met een mooie tuin en super gaaf aan het water. Er is ook een kleine trail bij het hotel terrein. Ons verblijf was te kort.
- Tjadine (9/5): A real treat. - A beatiful resort place with super friendly staff. Beds and room were amazing. Facilities fantastic. A real treat. We rented a boat with skipper for a trip which was amazing. We had one brilliant evening at the restaurant and one where we had to wait too long, which is not the end of the world but for the price it is. In general things were quite expensive but then the place is really fantastic.
- Huberta (9/5): Empfehlenswert - Tolle Lage mit Blick über den Golf, moderne Bungalows, sehr schöne Pools, gutes Restaurant. Auch der Bootsausflug hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Man musste beim Frühstück diskutieren, ob man ein Omelette und ein Joghurt (!) ohne Aufpreis bekommt. Vorgesehen ist - wie offenbar oft in Panama - nur Weißbrot und ein Extra. Für den Preis, den wir selbst in der Nebensaison (Regenzeit) bezahlt haben, habe ich diese Diskussion als störend empfunden. Insbesondere ist das Hotel in europäischer Hand und daher sollte der Wunsch nicht ganz überraschend sein. Wurde aber geregelt. Ausflüge sind auch nicht gerade günstig, aber wie oben erwähnt, war die Bootstour super. Last but not least, wenn Sie wie wir mit Kind reisen: kein Badestrand.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including an excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices, a bar, 2 swimming pools, one of which is an infinity pool. Also there is easy access to the beach if you prefer. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable stay in Bocas del Mar."

- Jo (8/5): Very good - Beautiful spacious room with kitchenette allowing us to make sandwiches for lunch and even a pasta meal for dinner. Spotlessly clean, fresh, and modern. The hotel has stunning views of the bay, and the pools are nice. All boat trips were fully booked for our 3 night stay, so we were not able to make the best use of our visit. We only used the kayaks. It was really disappointing to go such a long way and hear great things about the hotel tours and then find that we couldn't do them. There were other hotel boats available, but we weren't offered any alternatives.
