Guest Reviews
- Amanda (9/5): Lovely comfortable stay in a beautiful location - Very clean and cared for. Comfortable beds and lovely hot tub. Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Excellent and would highly recommend - The photographs on the booking site really don’t do this place justice. We have just returned from a stay in the two bed cottage, which is beautifully presented, modern and exceptionally clean. The cottage had everything we needed including the wood burning hot tub with beautiful views. Great location for exploring north Wales and Richard couldn’t do enough to help us. Very tiny thing the pillows were a little hard but that is just personal taste.
- Karolina Pukalska (10/5): - Great play area for toddlers, chickens, sheep and horse, lots of outdoor area to run around for little ones. Hot tub was brilliant. The only disadvantage was lack of shower attachment in the shower, so washing our 2 yo was a bit problematic especially as he is not used to having a shower, but we managed with toothbrush cup!
- Jaimee (10/5): - Lovely property, peaceful and secure. Very clean, everything in the cottage was like new, beds very comfy, great hosts. Honestly couldn't fault anything.
- Gary (9/5): Like it or lump it - Richard was very friendly, helpful and accommodating., great sense of humour Bought sushi from the local supermarket, didn't like that 😅
The sofa has seen better days, springs totally gone,
- Julia (9/5): A beautiful cosy cattage - The cottage is cosy and clean in a picturesque area. Richard was a fantastic host, contacting us throughout our stay by text message to make sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Plenty of tea towels provided. There is plenty of coffee, tea, sugar. Also, coffee machine and pods. Cleaning products were under the sink. Cooking oils, salt, and pepper in the cupboard. No stove, but there is a combi microwave with an instruction book available. The bedrooms are a good size, with an added bonus of ensuite with both bedrooms. A Television in both bedrooms, we didn't use these because we spent our nights out in the hot tub. A log burner in the lounge, plenty of wood available for this, and also the wood for the hot tub. If we ran out of wood, Richard told us just to contact him. A washing machine and dryer are available in the main building. We never used these. The hot tub is an added bonus. It is a log burner hot tub. We were out sightseeing every day, a text to Richard, and he would light the hot tub, making sure it was ready to use when we returned to the cottage. We would love to return to the cottage sometime in the future. Diolch Richard and Paola There were no drawers to store clothes in the bedrooms, plenty of hanging space. There is not much space to sit and eat together inside, but there is enough space outside and under cover.
- Luke (10/5): Wonderful long weekend with family - Beautiful location. 2 great size bedrooms with good bathroom in each. All the facilities you need for a break away. Richard the host was wonderful. He cleaned and got the hot tub ready for us each evening.
- Lauren (10/5): Relaxing, cosy stay in a beautiful bungalow in beautiful surroundings - The location, cleanliness, privacy and the bungalow itself! Richard was a superb host who clearly took pride in his property and the surrounding grounds, it was beautiful and very enjoyable stay. Nothing
- Hannah (10/5): Relaxing and Romantic - We absolutely loved our stay here for our anniversary - so relaxing and romantic. The bungalow is on a beautiful farm - from the patio and hot tub we could watch the sheep and bunnys in the distance - with a perfect view of the sunset too. The bungalow was clean and spacious - robes provided were a nice touch. The owner was very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble - but he also gave us plenty of privacy. Perfect location - only a 10 minute drive into Mold with plenty of pubs and restaurants. We made use of the BBQ too. Hot tub was cleaned daily - was perfect temperature. in the evening, we enjoyed getting cosy next to the log burner. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing - everything was perfect!
- Jonathan (10/5): Beautiful, comfy, cosy and refreshing. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 - Location was perfect. Stunning views. Great distance to shops and other amenities without it being inconvenient. Amazing for children with the outdoor space, play area and sheep, chicken and horses for the animal loving little ones. Richard made us feel extremely welcome and nothing seemed to be too much effort for him. Amazing value and a beautiful stay. The whole family had an amazing long weekend. Absolutely NOTHING
- Kinga (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Idyllic get away provided by attentive hosts - It was clean, enough space, 2 en-suites, beautifully presented, cosy, private with a hot tub and a big field at the back to make use of. Richard went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Facilities were exceptional and eco friendly. Would fully recommend and we hope to be back soon.

- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Absolute Gem of a stay - Everything was perfect, Richard was brilliant and so accommodating, really friendly and had a few good conversations with him.
The hot tub is easily the best one we’ve used it is a log burning one which Richard helps to set up.

- Anita (10/5): Exceptional -

- Simon (9/5): Superb - Hosts were friendly, without being overpowering. Room was clean and linen was lovely and fresh. Bed was comfy. Shower was amazing. Plenty of parking. Nice drive over the pass to Llangollen. Room is suitable for less able as it's ground floor, and there is a ramp to the front door if that's important for you.
- Bryony (10/5): Amazing value for money - The views were stunning, very quiet, the owners were lovely, hot tub was a massive hit with our stay. Takeaways are only a 10 minute drive, it was very private. The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was ok The microwave is an oven aswell which we didn't know and there was no tea towels to dry the plates, cups etc up with.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, accommodation and hosts made our stay really memorable. Richard and Paola really looked after us and couldn't be more welcoming. The hot tub was preheated and prepared for us for when we wanted it everyday. Thanks Richard and Paola for a great stay and would certainly stay again. Highly recommended. Nothing.
- Abbie (10/5): Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous location. - Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location, the views are fabulous. The cottage had everything you could need for a lovely getaway. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was the best we have ever used. Parking is great right outside the property. There's a little park area right next to the cottage with a swing and a slide that my daughter loved. Richard was lovely and friendly, made us feel at home and it was great of him to heat the tub for us :). Would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone, was gutted to be leaving and wish we had booked for longer. Nothing, it was perfect.

Hot tub was emptied and cleaned everyday.
Richard and his partner were so welcoming they never disturbed you and left you too it.
Like that it felt like a home to home style.
Very spacious for a family of four and the property was very tidy and clean.
Had a very enjoyable stay and definitely will be back soon hopefully. No welcome hamper on arrival. (as stated online)
Towels for shower could be bigger.
Dressing gowns could also be bigger in size.
Wasn't any milks for the tea and coffee when arrived.
No hoover, dishwasher or oven. (just two hobs)
Beds could have been more comfortable.
