Payment Policy: - Please note that the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name and credit card must be presented to the hotel upon check-in. For the cardholder's protection, if the cardholder is not present, guests shall have to settle a new payment upon check in and the prepayment will be credited back to the original card. Additional authorizations for incidental charges can be processed on a separate card. - All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at time of booking. The hotel reserves the right to either charge or pre-authorize the provided credit cards up to the full reservation amount at point of reservation. Renovation Notice:
1. Mango Pool will be closed for a renovation between 01st June – 15st July 2026 while other 4 pools is operating as normal.
2. Renovation of Chom Talay restaurant and Sala Bar between 01st June – 31st July 2025 with the majority of work taking place in the outdoor terrace area.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

- travelerNYC1972 (4/5): Awesome in theory, not so much in reality. - Beautify property nestled in what feels like a rain forest/botanical garden.. spacious rooms and fairly priced.. However… the hotel is built into a mountain side, it is practically impossible to get around the property by foot.. Unless you are a mountaineer and don’t mind climbing mountains in 90-100 degree weather with 80%+ humidity.. While they provide shuttles to get around, which are plentiful and quick to arrive, having to call for a shuttle each time you want to go to the lobby, breakfast, pool, or if you forgot something in the room becomes tiring after a few times, especially if you are at the pool with no way to call for a shuttle.. The bigger problem though is, we paid for the private pool, however, having a pool in a forest, is a recipe for disaster.. sitting for just 15-20 minutes at the pool, we already each had at least 20 mosquito bites.. The whole private pool concept goes out the window if one cannot actually use it.. The bed wasn’t comfortable either, mattress, pillows, duvet, towels, everything was sub-standard for what one would expect for a supposed 5 star resort. The pool umbrellas, were just a tad bigger than the ones you get in a mai tai drink, never have I seen smaller shade umbrellas, So, sitting at the large pool which isn’t mosquito infested, wasn’t an option either, unless one likes the lobster look. So, in theory, could’ve been awesome, in reality, a few days of misery..

There are multiple pools throughout the property near each cluster of villas/rooms, making it feel peaceful and never overcrowded. The swim-up bars are a huge plus, with the option to order both food and drinks while enjoying the pool. The breakfast buffet is excellent and offers just about everything you could want.. omelets made to order, Thai cuisine, French toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurts, sushi, and even a build-your-own ramen bowl station. I’ve stayed here twice now and continue to be a very happy guest. The location is great and just a short walk around the corner to Karon Beach. The hotel also offers daily shuttles to Patong, the heart of Karon, and local night markets. Even with everything nearby, the resort itself feels calm, relaxing, and truly lives up to its spa-like atmosphere. There are also two restaurants on-site along with a spa offering wonderful massages. I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for great value without breaking the bank. Lastly, all of the staff are so gracious, friendly, and genuinely wonderful people.

From our bar man Joe in the adults only pool, to the staff in the dining room to the guys who recognised you returning from town and immediately getting a buggy to take you up the hill to your room. EXCEPTIONAL. Everything was so clean and again, the staff go out of their way to make your stay special. We got Ubers everywhere and it was so easy. Great location. Not one regret staying here. It was quite hard to find all the pools and a very steep walk to apartments if you couldn’t catch a lift with the resort vans.

- Rosh72 (8/5): Beautiful forest-style resort with wonderful staff and a memorable stay - We booked Mandarava Resort and Spa for 7 nights and overall we had a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, set in forest-like surroundings with lovely grounds, clean rooms and a peaceful tropical feel. Everything was very well looked after, both inside and outside. There always seemed to be staff cleaning and maintaining the resort, which really showed. The service was very good throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, helpful and always smiling. It genuinely felt like service with warmth, and the Thai people we met were kind, welcoming and lovely. When we first arrived there was a problem with our room, but the hotel manager, Nong, reacted very quickly and moved us to another room which we were happy with. While we waited in the lobby, Nong sat with us and took the time to get to know us. She was a lovely lady and made us feel really welcome from the start. The only slight negative is that the hotel grounds are extremely hilly. In the heat, it can be quite difficult to get around on foot, so you do need to be in reasonably good health and fairly fit if you plan to walk around the resort. That said, the hotel does have a very efficient buggy service which transports guests around the hotel grounds, and this worked very well. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but by the fifth morning we did feel the selection became a little repetitive. It would be nice if the hotel could freshen the breakfast menu up a bit during the week to keep it more interesting for longer stays. Room service was also good. We ordered pizza one evening and it was delicious. The staff were always on hand if we needed help with anything, and they were quick to answer questions and find solutions. There is also a regular buggy service to Karon Beach, with pick-ups back to the hotel throughout the day, which was very useful. The night before we checked out, Nong was there again and was truly sorry to see us leave. By then she felt more like a friend, and we would love to go back and pay her a visit the next time we are in the area. Would I stay there again? Yes, I would. However, next time I would probably like to experience another hotel that is a little closer to the beach and not quite as hilly. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and a memorable, happy experience.

There were many different pools to choose from, all with a swim up bar. I went with my wife and mother in law, no complaints!
- Mark (9/5): The friendliest, most relaxing resort we have stayed in Phuket. - Breakfast was sensational, huge variety and ably served by efficient and friendly staff. View of the Andaman Sea from Chom Talay dining room was excellent. Resort is built on the side of a hill. This means great views but also lots of steps and steep paths. Can't have it both ways. Also, it is quite a long walk to the beach or shops and restaurants.

Nice kids play area. Books for kids and adults to borrow. Stunning views from the rooms. The resort is set is a tropical garden with so many flowers and plants! We had a wonderful stay. The top rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon hours if facing the south or west.

- 7295d6e89f6c726400d7b4b5655d7c62 (9/5): מושלם! - מלון מהמם, הבריכות זה החלק הכי טוב במלון, יש בהן גם צל וגם שמש ומספיק מיטות גם אם המלון בתפוסה מלאה. הצוות ממש שירותי ונחמד ותמיד מנסים לעזור ולעשות אווירה טובה. הארוחת בוקר מעולה. צוות הבר בבריכה הראשית חברותי מאוד. החדרים גדולים ומרווחים. אין ספק שהמיקום קצת לא נוח ולהצמד ללוח זמנים של השאטלים זה לא כיף. בכל יציאה מהמלון תצטרכו להזמין מונית שתעלה מינימום 200 בהאט לכיוון. לצעירים שאין להם בעיה ללכת אפשר להגיע ברגל תוך 10 דק בירידה תלולה לאזור מרכזי עם מסעדות וחנויות. בנוסף למיקום, כל ההליכה במלון היא בעליות מאוד תלולות והמון מדרגות, לנו זה לא מאוד הפריע כי אנחנו צעירים ובכושר אבל אם אתם זוג מבוגרים שמתכנן להגיע, תבקשו חדר בצמוד לבריכה ולחדר האוכל. שירותי הכביסה מאוד מאוד יקרים.

- 2a104e90316d712b9fedf4df0fd3ab1a (2/5): Cockroaches in the bedrooms - AVOID THIS HOTEL!! - The pools are nice and the staff at breakfast are very friendly. Cockroaches in the bedrooms. My partner and I booked for 3 nights and on our first night a huge cockroach appeared from the wall. The hotel sent the janitor at midnight to chase and spray this to death but it ran back into the wall (where we heard a lot of scurrying noise) so we had to move rooms and all our belongings at 1am into a new, smaller and much hotter room where we couldn’t sleep for many hours. Shockingly, we then also found another smaller cockroach in our new room the day after this when we were about to go on a tour. My partner and I were so disgusted at this that we checked out a night early and paid for a new hotel somewhere else. We are waiting to hear back from the hotel about a refund for this experience but this is clearly a huge health and safety issue and needs to be investigated. Make no mistake, this is no 5 star hotel so do not put your health and safety at risk by staying here!

Es gab keine frisch gepressten Fruchtsäfte. Allerdings muss ich dazu sagen das es in keinem der Hotels auf unserer Reise so war, also meckern auf hohem Niveau.

- Natalia (10/5): Amazing stay - The location on the green hill is great! We enjoyed it more than the beach. We had a lovely room with private entrance to the pool and it was amazing! Breakfast was nice with a variety of different food. The main pool was never too crowded and we felt relaxed. It was cicadas’ season and they were loud, but not annoying. The beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel, with a variety of restaurants, massage, 7/11 and souvenirs. The staff was nice and helpful, everyone spoke good English, transfer from and to the airport was duly organized. Would definetely recommend! Would add some mango to the breakfast menu

Excellent facilities and super friendly and helpful staff. 5 different pools, each of which were great and with a swim up bar all day, meant that you could always find a space to relax. - jackmurph25 (10/5): Fantastic hotel - We spent a week here on our second week of our two week Thailand holiday, i was gutted we didn’t have two weeks in just this hotel! Il start with what i loved, the initial welcome was great with some nice cold face towels and drinks and the check in experience was easy. We were shuttled up to our room with our luggage. The initial surprise of seeing our room was amazing, if you love plants/gardens you will love this hotel/rooms. The room was massive with a big wrap around balcony, and was very clean and modern. Once we were sorted we went for a look around the hotel, the grounds are so well kept the plants and gardens are fantastic, and then to top it off one of the amazing pools appears out of no where like an oasis. Each of the five pools has its own bar when you can order drinks and food which all were very nice. All of the pools are stunning and different in their own way. The breakfast/restaurant was very spacious and clean and lots of choice. You can really relax at this hotel for two weeks. I only have a couple of personal negatives but are not so much the hotels fault. One being the area itself, i personally didn’t like Karon area as much as other areas i have been in thailand, the walk from the hotel to the town is around ten minutes up/down hill. You can get a free shuttle from hotel at certain times. The hotel is very hilly so if you find it hard for mobility it probably isnt the hotels fault for you, again, they do a shuttle service around the hotel.

This was our second time staying here and we are probably willing to give up the beach to stay here for a few days on our next trip. There is a tropical garden with a variety of species, which is very well maintained. An entire "army" of gardeners is constantly taking care of the territory. The hotel is located on a rather steep hillside and because of this there are also countless stairs and I do not recommend it if constant movement up and down stairs is a problem. They also offer a golf cart ride, but it is quite annoying to order a car for every movement within the hotel and wait for it to arrive. There were probably five pools and they are all located in different parts of the territory. The room (Panoramic Deluxe Room) is nice with modern furnishings with Asian influences. The room size is good. There could also be an armchair in the room. You can only comfortably sit on the balcony, but it is hot there. There is no air conditioning in the bathroom and it is very hot there thanks to the skylight. There were no slippers in the room, only beach flip-flops, as I recall, there were also slippers on the previous visit. A large fridge with enough space to store your belongings. The safe ran out of battery and wouldn't open anymore. Opening the safe took a relatively long time, but seeing how difficult it was to open the safe, I felt confident that my things were safe. The breakfast has a good selection. The wide selection of freshly made juices and banana pancakes baked on site add to the exclusivity. The pools are officially opened only at 10:00 and towels are only brought out shortly before that, so if you need towels earlier, you should take them out the night before. It is not allowed to reserve a sun lounger in advance and it is not necessary, because there were always free sun loungers. There is also a beach bag in the room and you can rent beach towels at the front door for going to the beach. A few times a day, the hotel shuttle takes guests to the beach and back. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach, but since the hotel is on a hillside, the way back is partly uphill. The group of guests is very international, no one nationality dominated. Guests were also not allowed to be brought in during the day. Our friend, who was staying at another hotel, was not allowed to go beyond the lobby. On the one hand, it’s safe, of course, but on the other hand, it’s a bit excessive if no one is allowed to visit me during the day, after all, this is not an all-inclusive hotel where strangers can enjoy benefits they didn’t pay for.

The only downside is that the hotel is over a very steep hill with steep steps so may not be suitable for less mobile persons. There are shuttles around the hotel however. Pools are stunning !
