Guest Reviews
- Steven (8/5): - Nice hotel. Staff friendly and spoke English well. Restaurant was nice. Parking is first come first served and not many spaces.
- Gideon (6/5): Nice room, ok location - Room was the highlight - modern, big with balcony. Rest of hotel quite run down/old with awkward secure parking separate from hotel with complicated process to get in and out. Service was friendly but only had 1 staff member that seemed to be doing everything incl fixing issue in our room, long wait on check out. Easy walk to old town but immediate area around hotel very average.
- Ann (10/5): - A comfortable and spacious bedroom.
Only downside was a separate toilet with no washbasin, meaning that you had to visit the main bathroom anyway
- Glynis (10/5): - Nice modern hotel and excellent restaurant. Very pleasant staff and a garage nearby if required.
- Ben (2/5): So not stay here - This was a terrible experience
The noisiest place we have just about ever stayed. Not clean and beds uncomfortable to say the least. Holes in bedsheets and felt unsafe, the door even had three massive bolts to use suggesting exactly that. Yes that’s a hair on the mug
- Sylvia (10/5): - The appartment was beautiful and very well equipped. Staff were friendly, approachable and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the stunning Troyes architecture.
- Alistair (10/5): - It was good
- Robert (8/5): One night stay - Just a one night stopover, a good location, friendly staff, everything that we needed. Would recommend.
- Jackson (2/5): Faulty air-conditioning - We chose this to particularly because of the air-conditioning and all the rooms as it’s 39° when we were there and turns out the air-conditioning doesn’t really work very well water leak all over one of the beds from the unit. It was a very uncomfortable night sleep.
- Ruth (10/5): Troyes - The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast, good service
- Nick (10/5): - Mooie familiekamer met badkamer er tussenin. Goed ontbijt en een nette kamer.
- Danny (10/5): - Bank for back, this hotel was most probably the best hotel. I stayed in during the two weeks in France. The room was large, the shower was large, breakfast was affordable and Parking was only eight euro. We could easily park in the front or they had hotel parking. The staff were phenomenal as well. At this price I’m sure it’s really hard to book if not in advance.
- Rachael (8/5): Perfect overnight stay - The staff were very welcoming and dealt with a leak behind the toilet quickly. Room was small. Air con in hall was noisy but kept room cool. Tea making facilities. Secure parking for €7.
- Hamid (10/5): - .
- Andrew (10/5): Lovely people in Troyes - The strikng thing about Troyes and the staff, all the team at Troyes was how pleasant and helpful they were. It was a real joy walking around their stunning town.
Our hotel was in a good position and breakfast was lovely.
- Stefan Raphael (8/5): - Walking distance to downtown, breakfast good, we were lucky to find a parking space from the city in front of the hotel.
- Neal (10/5): What a find! - A really lovely hotel in the heart of this amazing historical city. Great friendly service, spacious updated room with excellent ensuite bathroom. A wonderful evening meal and ample breakfast. Definitely recommend this excellent value hotel.
- Johan (8/5): - Great staff. Some rooms are modern, other rooms need to be renewed.
- Ines (6/5): - The carpet in the room was very very dirty. I left the hotel one day before also because o the smell in the corridor
- Ellen (8/5): - There'' was noise in the night (someone played on a djembé) so we coudn't sleep. I rang the reception and the nightporter came directly. I didn't know where the noise came from, but he went to the other apartment and made them silent. That was really nice! It was in the night of 17 june.
- Jeanne (8/5): - Central location, friendly helpful staff
- Peter (8/5): - Very friendly staff and great central location. Fairly basic but everything you need for that price. Would stay again.
- Georges (8/5): - Très bien situé proche du centre historique. Très bon accueil. Confortable et propre. Petit déjeuner complet. nous le recommandons.
- Christopher (8/5): - Very helpful staff on front desk.
- Anna (8/5): - Thanks!
- Jean-Pierre (10/5): - Séjour fantastique.
- John (10/5): - Excellent value for money!
- Helen (8/5): - Hotel was fine for one night stop over. Close to main centre Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast had a good selection
- Lisa (10/5): - Really great budget hotel. Spacious family room. Smart tv in room which is not a guarantee in budget hotels
- Sidra (10/5): - Very nice clean property.
- Amanda (10/5): - We arrived at midnight tired after a long drive but were quickly shown to our room. I was expecting 5 beds in one room but instead got an entire 2 bed apartment. Amazing accommodation for the price we paid. As a family of 5 i don't often get to say that. Breakfast was lovely. Perfect stop off on the way to the Alps. xx
- Derek (6/5): - The hotel was really great, room 401 was excellent, unfortunately he bed in room 102 was extremely hard. Such an uncomfortable nights sleep, not what I needed before an 8 hour drive to Montpellier.
- Angela (6/5): Comfortable and OK, not the best. - The room was comfortable but smelt of stale smoke. Breakfast was good but reataurant food was very poor.
- Philippe (10/5): - Very clean. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
- David (10/5): - Quick overnight stay. Did all intended / stated
- Christian (8/5): - Ok
- NICHOLAS (8/5): - Excellent location
- Anna (10/5): - Perfect! Very kind staff, good location, very tasty breakfast. Thanks a lot!
- Isabel (10/5): - Nice Hotel
- Jean-Luc (8/5): Bon service - Facilité d'accès. Proche du centre. Propre. Accueil de bonne qualité.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): - Bon rapport qualité prix
Petit déjeuner au top
Chambre et literie correctes
- Paul (8/5): - Hotel was in a great location for Troyes. Car park was full which wasn't ideal and is underground so no good for vans.
Only complaint was that the 3rd bed in a family room was terrible. Double bed was ok. Nothing special.
- Mike (10/5): Nice stay - nice hotel and great location
- Claire (10/5): - Kind helpful staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Shower was intermittent temperature. Really handy for station. Parking in secure location but let hitel know if you have a roof bix as it has low ceiling
- Chris (8/5): - Everything was fine including the breakfast buffet. The only problem was the one time we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, service was very slow - it seemed that the restaurant was under-staffed.
- Michael (8/5): - Good location. Good value for money
- Peter (8/5): - Staff very helpful. Hotel situated conveniently.
- Tepparit (10/5): - Very nice reception, all staffs are friendly
- Kevin (10/5): - Great place. I really enjoyed my stay there.
- Peter (8/5): - Great stopover hotel in Troyes. Short walk to the city centre, easy parking, good size rooms and great breakfast - special mention for the orange juice machine!
- Andrew (10/5): Great place to stay Troyes - Very convenient very clean hotel close to city and train station with some parking in front of hotel. Air conditioning in rooms too. Very welcoming staff. Came back for a second visit when returning to Troyes
- Hannah (10/5): Does what is says on the tin. - Comfortable, centrally located, friendly staff and a reasonable price. Perfect for a stop over.
- Emilie (8/5): - convenient
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice budget hotel. Good value for the money - Very Nice budget quality hotel. Friendly staff, convenient parking. While not in the center of sites, within walking distance.
- Mark (6/5): I have never stole anything in my life! - Welcome and checking was brilliant, very friendly and warm.
My major problem was the hotel accused me of theft and are threatening to charge my Credit Card €28 for 3 towels. Absolutely disgraceful! They have told me they looking into it and will come back to me, 4 days later nothing!
- Anthony (10/5): - Hotel was clean, tidy and great location to visit Troyes itself or surrounding area
- Nicholas (10/5): Great room with balcony - Great room with double balcony
Bed as hard as an ironing board though
Great location in Troyes and staff v helpful
Great secure parking off site
- Jean (10/5): Great stay! - Great service, the staffs are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is at a very good location for all attraction, only 5 minutes walking distance to the old town. The parking is right front of the hotel if you have a car. We had a very good room, good breakfast, so happy to choose this place to stay in Troyes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly stuff
- Mark (10/5): Great value, central hotel - This was such a a bargain! We are a family of 4 and got two interconnecting rooms, one with a double one with twin beds. We weren't expecting this so it was a nice surprise. Room was lovely, nice bathroom with big shower and double basins.
Hotel is really close to the centre, 10 mins walk. We would definitely stay again.
- Tim (8/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Lucie (8/5): - Limited parking. Nice rooms.
- Ian (10/5): - Friendly, informed staff. Clean and equipped bedroom and bathroom. Plentiful breakfast with varied choices.
Ten minutes walk to the medieval area that has plenty of choice for eating.
- Nigel (10/5): Great location - Great location with helpful staff and excellent food in the restaurant
- Dan (6/5): A place to pay your head. - A very plain rather anonymous hotel sandwiched between the train station and attractive old town. The room was recently renovated and modern if basic but the rest of the hotel was quite dated. Fine for a one night stopover but not a place to linger.
- Devy (8/5): - Decent place to sleep and have basic breakfast. Hotel is within walking distances to train station, bus stop, pharmacy, places to eat, self-service laundry shop. All within walking distance. Hotel needs to have “clean my room sign”. All staffs are friendly. Some are able to speak basic English. Google translate helped.
- Daniel H (8/5): a good place to stay for a few days - very nice hotel. good location. A little outdated, but the room was clean
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great service!
- Mary (10/5): - Train and bus depot is around the corner. Many quaint restaurants and shops close by. Great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent as always. Merci.
- Simon (8/5): Served its purpose well - Served us perfectly well for an overnight stay on our homeward bound leg from the South of France to UK.
- Katarzyna (8/5): Great hotel - It was lovely experience for our family. The hotel was quiet, clean and locked within very short walk to the beautiful town centre. The breakfast was great and beds comfortable. Highly recommended.
- Ian (10/5): - My fourth overnight stop there. Excellent value, great location two minutes walk from the Old Town. The upgraded 'superior' rooms are well worth the modest extra charge. A well provided for breakfast. Parking is OK on street but is charged for, and secure parking at the rear of the hotel is better value and well worth booking in advance at the 7 euros overnight charge.
- gareth (10/5): - We had a very warm welcome. You can park immediately outside the hotel. Plus the rooms are air conditioned
- D (6/5): Premier Inn Lite - I find that Brit Hotels are a bit hit and miss. This one suited my needs but my needs were only to have somewhere to sleep. The surrounding area is quite nice.
- Steven (2/5): - I often wondered what the worst hotel in the world would look and feel like. Needless to say, my dreadful stay with this hotel led me to realise I was experiencing it for real. No parking for customer’s with disabilities. There are but they’re taken up by none disabled customers. Drab looking rooms with poor air conditioning unit. The main complaint was the shower which flooded the bathroom and crept into our bed room. Poor drainage and dodgy sealant meant only my wife was able to shower. If I could award this hotel 0/10, that’s what it would get. The reviews for this place must be manipulated, for 100 Euros a night you could book a Novotel or Jury’s Inn for near that price and your experience with be better 10 fold. A disgrace really.
- Una (8/5): Under whelmed, but great location - The location of the hotel for Troyes medieval village is perfect. The hotel is easy to find, parking is payable near by. I booked this for the pool table in the photos, but couldnt find it, the receptionists english was as bad as my french so didnt bother to ask about it. The room was supposed to by superior, it had a balcony if that qualifies?
- T (10/5): Good hotel and location for medieval Troyes - Hotel conveniently located near medieval old town, just a 5 minute walk away. Troyes a good location for a stop over while driving on the nearby motorway. Hotel clean and tidy. Helpful staff.
- Wagner (10/5): Good stay - Traveling with my Pet. Hotel is well prepared for Pets.
- Lynn (6/5): Don’t order the scrambled eggs. - Staff were friendly. The breakfast was disgusting and wish we had gone somewhere else for that. We ordered scrambled eggs which were obviously processed eggs gone cold and microwaved. Absolutely terrible! The bathroom was quite dirty. The bed was comfortable. I’d rather pay 20 Euros extra and take my chances at another hotel to be honest.
- Louise (4/5): otel seen better days - This is an old dated hotel that has seen better days. Communal areas need cleaning and room was dark and dingy. Bathroom needed replacing old and rusty fittings. Bedding was clean and staff OK but would not recommend to anyone.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Simple, clean and with an outstanding restaurant. - We've been staying at this hotel twice a year for several years en route to and from our skiing holiday in the French Alps. It is centrally located, simple but clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is outstanding ensuring an extremely pleasant evening's dining without the hassle of braving the weather to look for somewhere to eat. Breakfast is a self-service buffet with a wide variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Peter (8/5): Comfortable hotel in a good location - This is a simple but clean hotel, well-located near the old city and the train station. It's nothing fancy, but it's an affordable option in the center of town, and I stay here quite frequently.
- J (8/5): Staying on Troyes - When in Troyes I always stay at your hotel it's just so convenient with good parking and a great restaurant
